**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashish G. | Data Platform Consultant, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Cisco Secure Endpoints?**

I find Cisco Secure Endpoints incredibly important for securing user devices and data across the organization from threats. It serves as an advanced threat intelligence system that can detect, analyze, and prevent very sophisticated threats like malware. I appreciate how it intelligently monitors incoming traffic and behaviors, helping us manage cloud-based systems with many users and permissions. During peak hours, it provides valuable tools to analyze, hunt, and stop unauthorized activities, which is incredibly helpful. Its integration capabilities with Microsoft, Linux, and cloud-based systems make it really versatile for our needs.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Secure Endpoints?**

The initial setup process can be quite tricky. We have to gather requirements, create documents, discuss onboards across the board, analyze existing systems, decide the number of endpoints, set policies for remote resources and connections, and analyze peak time traffic to configure policies.

**What problems is Cisco Secure Endpoints solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cisco Secure Endpoints helps us secure user devices and data from threats across the organization with its advanced threat intelligence system. It detects, analyzes, and prevents very sophisticated threats like malware.

  ### 2. Robust Threat Detection, Needs Improved Reporting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sunny C. | IT, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Cisco Secure Endpoints?**

I use Cisco Secure Endpoints because it's enhanced the detection and response and has faster incident response. The best part is that it focuses on resilience and continuity by blocking and containing threats earlier. It offers advanced endpoint detection and response, giving deep visibility into threats, how they entered, what they are doing, and how to stop them. This reduces dwell times and helps teams understand attacks contextually.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Secure Endpoints?**

The depth and intuitiveness of reporting and dashboards are often cited as weaker compared to some competitors, making insight generation and security monitoring less straightforward. Better data visualization is needed because the data is there but hard to interpret quickly. Improvements like more visual summaries, such as attack kill-chain views, heat maps, and trend graphs, would reduce time spent drilling through raw events.

**What problems is Cisco Secure Endpoints solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Cisco Secure Endpoints to protect, detect, respond to, and recover from cyber threats. It solves the problem of endpoint-based threats that traditional antivirus tools can't handle, offering advanced detection and response, deep visibility into threats, and faster incident response.

  ### 3. Excellent Endpoint Visibility and Early Threat Detection

**Reviewed by:** Anson D. | Software Test Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Cisco Secure Endpoints?**

What I like most is the level of visibility it provides into endpoint activity. It helps detect threats early and gives detailed information that is useful for investigation and response. The integration with other Cisco security tools is also a plus.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Secure Endpoints?**

The interface can feel complex at first, and it may take time to understand all the features. Pricing can also be higher compared to some alternatives, especially for smaller teams.

**What problems is Cisco Secure Endpoints solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps protect endpoints from malware and advanced threats by continuously monitoring activity. This improves overall security and reduces the risk of incidents going unnoticed.

  ### 4. Robust Detection with Minor Console Complexity

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick C.

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Cisco Secure Endpoints?**

I like the unmatched forensic depth with continuous recording that Cisco Secure Endpoints offers. The Talos Intelligence Integration stands out for me—it acts like a 'crowdsourced immune system.' I appreciate how automatic protection updates are provided when a file is detected as malicious anywhere in the global AMP ecosystem. Additionally, the initial setup of Cisco Secure Endpoints was relatively simple and convenient, as we faced no difficulties or challenges.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Secure Endpoints?**

I find the Management Console complexity to be a bit challenging. I think guided workflows for common tasks like investigation, exclusions, and policy creation could really help make it more user-friendly.

**What problems is Cisco Secure Endpoints solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Cisco Secure Endpoints to solve the siloed security tools issue and enhance threat prevention across Windows, macOS, and Linux. Its unmatched forensic depth and Talos Intelligence Integration are invaluable for current threat detection and response.

  ### 5. Silent and Effective Security Solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amit B. | Assistant System Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Cisco Secure Endpoints?**

I like that Cisco Secure Endpoints doesn't bother me and works silently in the background. Once configured, I hardly need to use it directly, and it doesn't disturb me with pop-ups or unnecessary notifications like other antiviruses do. The initial setup was very easy; I just had to sign up with my org ID and details, and it was ready to go.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Secure Endpoints?**

No from my point of view

**What problems is Cisco Secure Endpoints solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Cisco Secure Endpoints for device security to detect system malfunctions due to external threats. It works silently in the background, not disturbing with pop-ups or notifications.

  ### 6. Powerful Cisco EDR and Cloud Management, but Setup Can Be Complex and Costly

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Cisco Secure Endpoints?**

Advanced threat detection through behavioral analysis, with strong EDR and incident investigation capabilities. It also integrates well with other Cisco security solutions, and the centralized, cloud-based management makes it easier to oversee everything from one place.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Secure Endpoints?**

It can be complex to configure and manage, especially if you’re looking for a straightforward setup. It also comes at a higher cost compared to more basic antivirus solutions. On older devices, I’ve noticed it may impact system performance, which can be a drawback depending on your hardware.

**What problems is Cisco Secure Endpoints solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides advanced threat detection and integrates well with other Cisco security products, which makes it a solid option for organizations already using the Cisco systems.

  ### 7. Superior in Endpoint Security

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jay K. | Senior Computer Operator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Cisco Secure Endpoints?**

Ease of use and deployment to our endpoints. Policy customization and reporting is excellent. Reasearching and finding root cause of an issue with tools provided helps tremendously as well.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Secure Endpoints?**

Only issue we have come accross is the usability of the product with deprecated operating systems. We understand the risk in that area, but some systems take time to upgrade and many moving parts on said systems might not support newer operating systems.

**What problems is Cisco Secure Endpoints solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us solve issues with software vulnerabilties, provides solid antivirus and the ability to isolate a machine off the network if a problem is found. Plus so much more.

  ### 8. Cisco Secure Endpoints Product Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad Irfan MS I. | Lead Consultant – Enterprise Technology Risk & Cyber Security (Deputy Director) , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Cisco Secure Endpoints?**

Very useful platform and easily integrated end to end with complete cisco stack of technologies which enables complete security visibility and enables efficent incident response.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Secure Endpoints?**

It has seperate portal for on prem and cloud deployments so for hybrid devices a unfied platform should be adopted.

**What problems is Cisco Secure Endpoints solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The major benefit it provides is the end to end visibility among cisco stack of products. If a malware has passed the firewall then upon knowning it malicious state it can easily be tracked at endpoint layer and isolated accordingly.

  ### 9. Great Endpoint Protection Solution

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Cisco Secure Endpoints?**

Good UI, very easy to use and gives you access to information regarding deployed assets, current status and any detected threats.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Secure Endpoints?**

There is very little not to like about a solution that gives you great visibility of your deployed assets and any detected threats on them, with options to remediate.

**What problems is Cisco Secure Endpoints solving and how is that benefiting you?**

An endpoint protection suite that as well as doing its initial business requirement, also integrates with other Cisco products like SecureX, to maximise the value delivered to the business.
