Although I am fairly new to using CimTrak (under a year), what's not to like. The ease of use is unbeatable, the price point is fantastic, and the support team is like no other.

I haven't come across anything I don't like but the report scheduler is outdated. I just learned today that they have updated report schedule in their latest release and I am looking forward to upgrading to that version very soon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We like Cimtrak because of its real time monitoring, capability of post execution command, and have compliance features. Ease of use and easy to understand that reduce the complexity and that's why it fits to many industry.

This is the perfect time to announce that we will be releasing our new online interactive documentation later this year with a FULL REWRITE for the entire product and ALL modules. This will include step-by-step screenshots, videos, and API documentation, as well as example scripts. More details coming soon!
We utilize CimTrak in a very specific way, by using custom commands to create specific output to track. For example, a password policy setting or the installed vib's on an esxi host. CimTrak is able to allow us to monitor and report on changes and create specific baseline reports for our NERC CIP requirements. CimTrak allows us to spend less time on minutiae and more time on protecting our systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The downsides of using CimTrak in a specific way for our compliance needs are that there may be a need for output or reports that are not out of the box. CimTrak worked with us to develop custom reports to our specifications. I am looking forward to the enhancements that will come from continued growth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

On-boarding of the devices into Cimtrak is straight forward. It has capabilities to monitor all the types of devices we have in our environment, in that way we didn't had to go to some other tool to monitor some other type of device. Unfortunately, it's not currently possible to gather the user for everything CimTrak monitors, but it does provide those forensic details when attainable.
