Checkmk is by far the most cost effective and reliable monitoring service I've used. We monitor around 30,000 services with it, including physical servers, virtualized linux and windows, and networking hardware. It's also pretty easy to deploy service checks! The agent bakery (Not included in the Raw edition) is a life saver when managing as many agents as we are. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
