**What do you like best about Chattermill?**

As Product Analyst at HelloFresh for the past six months, I’ve been really impressed with how we process customer feedback through chattermill. 
Its ability to analyze and categorize unstructured feedback is incredibly helpful and impressive. Its theming and sentiment analysis help us quickly aggregate and synthesize large amounts of feedback (in several languages).
More specifically, Chattermill has helped us:
- Identify drivers of dissatisfaction regarding recipes or ingredients, allowing us to make targeted improvements.
- Monitor the impact of our product changes by tracking customer sentiment and feedback.
- Understand customer preferences per segments (eg: loyalty) to better tailor our service.
The insights from Chattermill have led to real product enhancements and a more customer-focused product development process.
The platform is also very user-friendly, and the support from Chattermill has been very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Chattermill?**

Some sentiment in local languages are sometimes mis-interpreted. I also heard integration and maintenance was the simplest but I don't have first hand experience in this regard.

I really like Chattermill because of its consistency, which plays a key role in determining how good and trustworthy it is for other teams. The feature that stands out the most to me is 'observations.' These are unsupervised learnings that surface feedback through semantic research, and I find it amazing. Observations bring out new signals from customer feedback that you can't find elsewhere, and this is really valuable to our internal teams. Also, my onboarding was really easy, as Chattermill was already set up within the team before I started using it.

I really appreciate how Chattermill reduces our manual workload. It lets us run scalable analysis on qualitative feedback, which used to be difficult given the volume we handle. With Chattermill, we can now monitor that feedback much more effectively. I’ve also found their sentiment detection model and taxonomy- ased data labeling to be top class, which I’m genuinely very happy with.

There are still some outliers when it comes to sentiment detection. I wish the model could better pick up sarcasm and more nuanced tones in the feedback.

I also appreciate that the interface is very clean. Something that pleasantly surprised me is the help service, which is quick and efficient, although I have only used it once, I was satisfied.

Sometimes it is difficult for me to share information from Chattermill, I think this could be easier and faster. For example, creating a link to share a certain table sometimes takes too much time. It would be very useful to simply copy the URL and be done, instead of having to generate one.

I havent encountered any issues yet. It has been truly helpful. Though the UI gets overwhelming at times. It integrates with our main tool which is Zendesk and measures performance rates without bias.

You can get all the information you need from different sources (ex. Airbnb, booking, google, our own, etc) in just one place.
Thanks to the mutiple filters, you can find what you need more efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Chattermill?**

Sometimes the filter don't work as they should.
I think you could still work on the sentiment one, because it is not as accurate as it could be.

Each month I have to analyze what are the guests saying about my properties, specifically cleaning and maintenance,  to give feedback to my partners about their performance.
Before using chattermill we had to check each of the sites I mentioned aboved to try to get the most accurate information.
The time investment was huge.

The complaints aspect tend to be a bit more niche than what chattermill can outline with the AI aspect. A customer could complaint about the DD and it will feed it back as a different issue sometimes

quick way to reference reviews, ability to filter down and see as much detail or less as you want.

**What do you dislike about Chattermill?**

I've notice data accuracy is not great, at times data will change from one month into the other. Also I hate that i cant export data in a way that's ready to be leveraged on excel. Also, report making tool needs a lot of work. Layouts are always tricky to manage, noticed specially challenging when dealing with tables, were you cant modify the width of columns, also colours for each series are limited, and cant be customized; wich brings me back to the fact that...on one hand you dont facilitate exporting the data to quickly levarage it on excel/sheets, that would indicate high level of confidence on your own reports/dashboards, but as a constant user i know that's not the case. 

Also the sentiment algorithm is innacurate, at times it will pick negative sentiments, where I read the review there's nothing that indicates a negative sentiment towards the product. Finally would love to add a word map or word count as visualization options for the data. 

Again, if you don't excel at exporting data, then excel at reporting/dashboard experience, today there's gaps in both.

For the internal stakeholders, it has great features like sentiment analysis which helps in making better product changes and business decisions. It is seamless to implement in a new team, and integrates easiliy with other existing tools. All our customer reviews are managed through chattermill on a daily basis.

There is nothing as such abou the product that I dislike. I love the customer support as well. The UI/UX is great but can be improved a bit.

Data extraction, as well as being able to filter with tools such as themes and phrases for specific categories. On the recent features, new AI capabilities are enabling teams to save a lot of time on summarizing customer trends and feedback, while the soon to be released Copilot feature adds Chat-GPT like elements to the tool.

**What do you dislike about Chattermill?**

Lack of report personalisation can sometimes be an issue: even though the tool is easy to use and does report fast, periodically, when you want to modify some aspects of the preestablished graphs.

Showing the different teams and stakeholders what areas they have to improve on with actual day-to-day data coming directly from our customers, while also allowing them to report it to their other stakeholders.

Chattermill makes it super easy to gather feedback everywhere, take my unstructured data and actually make sense of it. Sentiment analysis is one of the coolest features and I've been using whenever I need to have a general sense of our customer feedback

Learning curve is a bit high, so understanding all data might take some time. Some contextual help would be very helpful (maybe tutorials or suggestions).

It pulls all my feedback sources into one place so I'm not jumping between tools. Sentiment analysis spots patterns I'd miss manually, which helps me gain insight on what to work in the product. Basically saves me time and makes user research way more actionable.

**What do you like best about Chattermill?**

Chattermill is most useful in its automated reporting features, Slack integration, the ability to create your own tags/themes, and quantitative "listening" of omnichannel feedback sources. Together, you can start a VoC program with little effort - generating timely reports for stakeholders and surfacing "bugs" in your product experience through the Slack integration so that the right parties can further investigate/resolve points of feedback as they're submitted. In general, Chattermill fills a key service gap for our company by allowing us to harness all of our different feedback sources in one platform. It helps us "quantitatively size" the prevalence of each pain point, which then gives us an idea of how to prioritize solutions to these issues based on frequency and severity. It also then allows us to check over time whether those pain points are abating, after administering solutions such as improved customer support or product improvements. Without such a tool, we'd spend much more time in manual data entry and feedback review, likely neglecting our lesser-known data sources like app reviews.

**What do you dislike about Chattermill?**

Chattermill is a worthwhile tool, but can be better improved through: more sensitive AI summaries, accuracy of sentiment analysis, and multi-language translation. While I appreciate that Chattermill has these capabilities, they can be fine-tuned. For example, there can be redundant themes that require you to manually resolve them - such as separate themes for "discounts" and "promotions" despite them being the same topic. Due to the accuracy of the translations and AI, any Chattermill insights still require careful human review, to ensure the right takeaway is being extracted from the data.

Chattermill provides a centralized platform to harness all the different feedback sources we get. It also allows us to track sentiment over time, establishing useful filters and tags for our most important themes.

The AI does a great job picking up on trends and sentiment I might have missed, and the dashboard is intuitive. It’s helped me make more informed, customer-focused decisions without the guesswork.

I Definitely recommend to anyone looking to truly listen to their customers at scale.

It is very user-friendly, and it allows you to get an overview of sentiment. We are able to see pain points and our strengths in few short steps.

It would be nice to have a sort of AI agent/assistant that can also help guide and troubleshoot. It is easy to formulate what type of data we want to see but not always clear how to get there, if there was an AI feature that can interpret the Results we want to see and guide through the steps on how to get there based on the specificities of our set up.

We receive a lot of feedback and have to sort through a lot of information and it used to be hard to zoom out and understand what the larger areas for improvement were, now we have a way to see the most important topics.

It seems to lack a lot of out of the box intelligence. I would love for it to be able to look at other data points such as CVR from Big Query and be able to tie sentiment to other metrics. It would also be cool if we could have more AI out of the box, and to have alerts and warnings in place when sentiment begins to turn!

What I like about using Chattermill is the ability to automatically categorise feedback by user, team, and site, which makes it easy to pinpoint exactly where issues or successes are occurring within the business. This helps us understand patterns across different points of contact and allows each team to focus on what’s relevant to them. The platform makes it much more efficient to identify trends and ultimately deliver a better customer experience.

The interface can sometimes feel unintuitive, especially when trying to filter or drill down into specific feedback segments. It takes a few more clicks than necessary to get to the insights I need, which can slow down analysis in a time-limited crunch.

As Product Analyst at HelloFresh for the past six months, I’ve been really impressed with how we process customer feedback through chattermill. 
Its ability to analyze and categorize unstructured feedback is incredibly helpful and impressive. Its theming and sentiment analysis help us quickly aggregate and synthesize large amounts of feedback (in several languages).
More specifically, Chattermill has helped us:
- Identify drivers of dissatisfaction regarding recipes or ingredients, allowing us to make targeted improvements.
- Monitor the impact of our product changes by tracking customer sentiment and feedback.
- Understand customer preferences per segments (eg: loyalty) to better tailor our service.
The insights from Chattermill have led to real product enhancements and a more customer-focused product development process.
The platform is also very user-friendly, and the support from Chattermill has been very helpful.

Some sentiment in local languages are sometimes mis-interpreted. I also heard integration and maintenance was the simplest but I don't have first hand experience in this regard.
