Certopus is the best bang for the buck in 2024 in that it provides a feature/performance/usability/price-value equivalent or better than alternative products or alternatives, or it provides feature/performance/usability/price-value superior to competing products. As an example, a user of certificates and badges for digital credentials might find them difficult to create (feature); difficult to share after creation (performance); difficult to maintain or update after creation (usability); and/or costly. Alternatively, a user might find Certopus easier to use than other products. This is not to imply that there are not other products that, in many cases, also perform well. It is very easy to use and makes it easy for me to manage my certifications for my organization. I appreciate the ability to customize almost every aspect of the certifications from design to delivery. For the price and what the service offers, this is a very solid SAS. I've been using Certopus since March 2023 and I'm so glad I found it when I did. The prices have increased some since their launch days, but it has become a reliable and cost-effective tool for us. We're in a service-based training business, and certifications are essential to us.

For the most part, customer service has been decent, though at times unresponsive. The software is based in India and being a U.S. user, the language and use of certain terms are sometimes non-intuitive, but not beyond understanding. All in all, I'm very grateful to have Certopus as a part of my business.

One thing I very much appreciate is the white-labeling experience. Raj helped me set it up so that all emails are sent from our custom email address, and the verification page is a custom page on our website. It provides for a clean, professional look and feel.

Certopus also has a number of features I haven't implemented such as learning pathways, and while I'm not currently using this feature, I like that it's there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

At times customer support can be very slow, or entirely unresponsive, but other times they're quick as a whip. Not sure why, but I assume that some days they're in the office and other days they're not. It's a small team and I think they really try. Technically the most important features all seem to work as they should, but there are some bugs that need to be fixed. Searching for previously issued certs can at times be cumbersom or even impossible - I've had batches of certs disappear from my admin view entirely. Still, the issued certs are still live, and that's much more important.

I think a big thing people would want to recognize is that Certopus has two limit: Credentials (certs) and Events; and if you have events with only a few people in them, you can run out of events much faster than you'd run out of credentials. In this way, Certopus may be better for companies offering fewer events, with larger attendance #'s.

It's also worth noting that the support center and guidance videos are very limited. It's grown over time, but still very limited. While support can be intermittent, Raj, when available, is kind and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The availability for support has been extremely helpful and encouraging. The UI is really clean and modern, and the ability to not only issue but create really attractive and professional looking certificates and badges is so valuable. I'm really excited to be using Pathways feature for an educational program to motivate students to progress though their leaning goals by earning individual badges for each goal, which ultimately will lead to the issuing of completion badges for completing entire courses. Pathways will also be used to motivate students to participate in non-required additional learning opportunities and by participating, they can showcase the additional effort, time, and commitment to learn competencies above and beyond what's expected. The ease of the Certopus interface is very intuitive, it is difficult to get lost because it is made with care thinking that the end client is not a graphic designer but someone who needs to provide specific solutions.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this tool and I had to analyze each of the competitors in the same segment such as Sertifier, Accredible, Credly or CertifyMe among many others and Certopus is at the same level of technical confidence, only with a very high price. more attractive than the competition.

It offers access to its API for free, which allows quick integrations and this detail is appreciated since not everyone has it.

White label options are quite useful for large and medium-sized institutions that do not want to have other domains or brands other than their own in their system and Certopus offers it at a very good price.

It is important to clarify that Certopus is perhaps the newest competitor in the diplomas and certifications segment, which makes it a young and developing company. This can make many early adopters nervous, but in these cases the most important thing is to have clarity towards Where the company is going, the public roadmap shows that they are clear about the points to improve and provides peace of mind to those who use the service.

The platform tends to overload when using large amounts of certificates, it feels a little slow but in the end all the batch processes work.

In my experience I feel that the system runs better in browsers like Chrome or Firefox, while in Safari it does not behave as well.

The technical support is on Indian time so it is not always automatic, in my case I have a GTM -5 time zone which makes it 10 and a half hours apart so if an emergency arises I would have no choice but to wait. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
