What I like best about this plugin is that it's so easy to use. I've had problems with spam blog posts on my website written by bots connecting to my website's WordPress backoffice. By installing Cerber, I was able to choose to close the open access doors. Being able to secure my site at the click of a button saved me a lot of time.

I think WP Cerber Security is one of the best security plugin for WordPress. I have been using the free version for 3 years and I am completely satisfied with the results. It prevents my website from malicious people trying to gain access to the admin, REST API or XMLRPC. It's always surprising to see how many hacks WP Cerber can stop every day. The anti-spam protection is very useful too to securise registration or comments forms.

I had problems configuring the plugin on my website, since it blocked my access to WP-Admin and I couldn't figure out how to recover. I had to ask my hosting to uninstall the app for me.

We installed Cerber security free version on a list of 18 sites to scan for viruses. We were surprised that it detected problems and unattended files that were missed by wordfence. We then recommended the pro version to our customers. The methodology that is based on integrity is awesome and self-updated automatically when you upload a new plugin. Controlling sessions is clear and easy. Reviewing users' activity is available. The option of scheduling (available in the pro version only) lets you scan the website every 1 hour automatically. We came from using WordFence and were finding that even with the paid plan, it was still allowing our client sites to be injected with Malware and causing us to have hours of work to restore, recover and update our client websites. Since changing to WP Cerber we have had no hacked sites, as it helps protect them better than we had experienced previously, we are also able to monitor and report to the clients about the potential attacks on their websites each month. The Dashboard is extensive and we find it very useful for our weekly maintenance and monitoring of the websites on our care. We are consistently recommending WP Cerber to our customer base as we transition all our clients websites away from WordFence and over to the much better Security Plugin for WordPress - WP Cerber. Well of course we all wish all the features were included in the FREE version of WP Cerber, but understandably you need to purchase the Professional version to unlock the best features, so while it is my least favourite part of WP Cerber, I accept that I have to pay for the awesome Plugin :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
WP Cerber is a more advanced WordPress cyber security tool that I install on all of my clients' websites. It provides real time protection, access to an up to date malicious IP address database and more. Wordfence is good, but my sites are really protected with WP Cerber.
