Celtra is a powerful tool for building media toolkits that can easily be adapted and upscaled for different markets, languages and brands.

**What do you dislike about Celtra?**

For a content creator used to work in Adobe Cloud programs, the celtra builder is limited in animation and design functionalities.

**What problems is Celtra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1) Speeding up the content creation process of building media assets (e.g. social ads, html banner) 
2) Building toolkits can be used by the local markets by adapting products and language

Wide selection of available ad formats and support of their product. Celtra team was always accessible and provided great assistance when it came to testing new ad formats.

Nothing to dislike. Product was well supported and exported files well.

Celtra provided us new ad formats. Easy HTML exports and testing support. Creative teams would also work with Celtra support when build issues arose. Celtra also provided in-depth reporting of user interaction with the ads.

**What do you like best about Celtra?**

How easy the platform is and how dynamic our assets have become.
We utilize Celtra to manage content across multiple markets, our global teams, Celtra team, and our design team. Content is then used across social platforms, display content and more. 
It allows us to have cohesive dynamic content across all of our channels.

For a global company like us it allows us to see into what other markets are also doing for their campaign creatives.

**What do you dislike about Celtra?**

For projects with a lot of assets it is hard to keep track of comments overall under each asset. It would be great to have comments for overall campaigns.
There are constant emails coming for each comment - which I know we are able to adjust as well in settings.
The Celtra team has been quite helpful when it comes to mitigating the issues and work flows for each of our campaigns whether they are always on tactics or just single campaigns.

**What problems is Celtra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We always receive static content within our global toolkits however best practices across multiple channels shows us that dynamic content is more ideal. The platform allows us to house content for all digital marketing channels into one place. It allows us to see a cohesive view of all content going out.

This allows us to test multiple things whether it be age, lifestyle audiences, promotional vs. full price, gender split. Having the ability to view all content across a campaign helps us plan for these tests.

Very straight forward to traffic.  Our other vendor is more complicated.  There's a lot of transparency in the macro and tracking implementation as well.

**What do you dislike about Celtra?**

With the customization, there can be longer, more complex tags that are sometimes (erroneously) rejected by platforms due to their load times when we build heavier mobile ads.

**Recommendations to others considering Celtra:**

We are very happy with Celtra!  There was a bit of a learning curve but once everyone was up to speed, we've found it to be lightyears ahead of our prior rich media integration and have made it the solution we utilize for all rich media.

**What problems is Celtra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Efficiency in trafficking at higher creative count volumes and more meaningful customization on Creative's end without needing significant adjustments from AdOps.

**What do you like best about Celtra?**

Celtra is easy to use even for people that do not come from a design background. It is clear and easy to see when campaigns have been built and are running effectively also allowing for cross collaboration with external partners by providing different levels of access to different creatives. We use the platform for building interscroller units which are high impact responsive creatives that allow us to run highly engaging campaigns that customers find interesting and exciting to interact with.

**What do you dislike about Celtra?**

I am unsure if there is a level of support available to customers who do not understand the platform. A training portal would be useful for new users to get to grips with it. I think that there is probably a lot more that we could do with the platform and it would be great for design teams to be given regular trainings to share new updates to the tool and the full suite of capabilities which might help trigger inspiration among studio designers and encourage them to use the Celtra tool. The studio teams are the best placed group to target as they are the ones who will be in the platform building creative when it is requested by the marketers. Marketers should also have a range of case studies made available to them so that they can understand exactly what has been done with the tool in the past.

A great tool for designing innovative and high impact performance creatives.

We are creating high impact interscroller ads which we are able to build and host within the Celtra platform, utilising an external media agency to run these ads on a global scale.

I like the ease of being able to customize our ad units. The demo user face is incredibly helpful and user-friendly when sharing with clients. The intuitive demo site easily allows advertisers to review these units in different settings (timing, platform, and location) so they can see all the extremely custom elements of their ad units.

**What do you dislike about Celtra?**

The toggles could be more clearly defined for advertisers with minimal experience so they are able to understand what they are looking at which avoids delays.

**What problems is Celtra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to add elements so easily which really elevates our offerings to our clients. An example is when a client has static assets, we are able to include animation or cool effects which helps to impress our clients. We are also able to include these features with minimal lead time which is super helpful since we are constantly working on tight turnarounds.

The new formats they continually roll out, especially on mobile web. the 3d opportunities they can run in interstitial video formats, including the opportunities that they run with the likes of hot spots etc, are really interested

Lack of immediate support if issues arise. also the price is a little expensive, which is why a lot of tech partners are breaking out their own creative solutions to look to counter this price. this is a lot of what in-housing was borne out of also. this is important for celtra to know; their pricing needs to be slightly more competitive to really be a scaleable solution for the entire market

Definitely use them to innovate. Great creative solutions. they are good with creating stories for advertising and i like how they push this across all of their devices. usually they are quick to innovate. I think that it is important to note also that they do work for the whole of the industry. they don't just work for one section, like publishers, but they work hard for publishers, advertisers, agencies, designers etc. this is a great benefit

How to innovate and sell new formats. also how to be a more scaleable solution for celtra with regards to how they can expand their business offering across the market, utilising our expertise. we have meetings with them to discuss the intricacies of what we like in the hope that it helps their offer across the rest of the market. it is beneficial for both parties to work together in this way

Celtra allows for unique advertising opportunities with little to no coding experience. You are able to bring your static ads to life with animations, traffic videos, ad customs fonts, and imagery, even build interactive experiences. My company has utilized Celtra for 2+ years which has allowed us to build a suite of new advertising products that have become a huge selling point for our clients.

**What do you dislike about Celtra?**

Celtra does not do a great job of compressing heavy images or video so the load weight is oftentimes as large or larger than the assets that put into the unit. Moreover, the load weight that is reflected on the builder isn't accurate to our tests in Google Ad Manager so it's hard to know how heavy the unit will without additional tests outside of the Celtra Platform.

Great custom advertising tool! Very easy to use if you are familiar with Adobe Cloud products.

**What problems is Celtra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am constantly working through how can we have more interactive ads while still maintaining KPI data capturing capabilities. I have realized the amount of unique customization you can do in Celtra, but sometimes it comes with the cost of not being able to track it.

**What do you like best about Celtra?**

They have a great filtering system,  work with a variety of DSP and Ad servers and have extremely intuitive reporting for a creative platform.  I wish other platforms would copy Celtras UI for reporting. The celtra team is also constantly working with us on product improvements and new features. We have participated in multiple beta products that have increased out workflows and efficiencies across the board. Celtra also offers a variety of products that have allowed us to greatly expand our business.

**What do you dislike about Celtra?**

I think a bulk download feature would be really helpful for my team which spends a large portion of the day. Having to pull tag by tag can be extremely time-consuming. Additionally, I think the platform would really benefit from adjusting the bulk upload excel sheet feature to spaces at the start and end of URL's to make it simpler to upload impression and click trackers from third party sources. Additionally with so many advertisers choosing to use brand safety vendors they ability to upload those scripts into celtra would go along way.

**What problems is Celtra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Serving dynamic ad units and increasing performance on digital campaigns. Celtra's UI makes it easy to create beautiful creatives that function as intended in a live web environment. Advertisers are often extremely impressed by the high impact product offering we are able to build, things that we simply could not build in other creative ad servers. This feature keeps our top advertisers coming back year after year and gives my team a ton of room to optimize our campaigns to fit our advertiser's need.

**What do you like best about Celtra?**

It's not overly complicated or slow/burdened with slow algorithms. Recreating Photoshop layouts is pretty straightforward, which is the most core functionality Celtra needs.

**What do you dislike about Celtra?**

I think there are a few quality-of-life improvements that would make building in Celtra an even more pleasant experience - to name some:

- Being able to manipulate guides precisely, entering a position value and being able to group them/manipulate them as objects like in Illustrator, for more precise control.
- Being able to align Object A with respect to any other Object B (like using some part of Object B as an anchor point) - this would be particularly useful if Guides were selectable objects that could be used in groups, to maintain more complex layout relationships.
- Having the tools/panels be more responsive/flexible. I work on a single 4K monitor, so if I want to have Celtra and another window open on the same screen, a half-width Celtra window is practically unusable because the minimum size of the panels covers most of the build canvas.

**What problems is Celtra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My only problems with Celtra are minor inconveniences in limitations of how we can anchor objects to groups and the canvas (described above), and with the kinds of PSD files that will naturally create difficulties in making responsive builds. I think I have learned a lot more about how responsive designs need to be created from the art design phase, and I think Celtra would benefit significantly from a feature that shows you how a certain size responsively scales up to the next size. If this were a width slider within the builder, for instance, that didn't require opening a new preview window, that would be extremely useful.

The ability to add rich media components and interactively quickly. Options are very scaleable. Rule based content add on multiple possibilities for advertising.

**What do you dislike about Celtra?**

Layer based animation tools take some time to use and get used to. The addition of quick animation tools and transitions that can be set up and edited in minutes would be a welcome addition.

For anyone looking for a good, modern platform that can implement video, interactivity and dynamic content, Celtra is a very good tool. Regular updates and good support make it even better.

The ability to assign different click trackers/URLs to different hot spots within the creative as well as assign what gets counted as a click or not. The ability to see a wide range of unique engagement metrics is also something that sets celtra apart as you can't really see engagement metrics like this in other platforms.

**What do you dislike about Celtra?**

Sometimes reporting can lock up or you aren't able to see the full name or creative tag if its longer than the character view limit of a form/box. This can make it hard to QA.

Solved for reporting out on engagement metrics and using different urls within  a creative.

user interface is easy to use for all team members from designers to developers, traffickers & analysts, custom code integration ability is a huge plus, especially when it comes to dynamic widgets for location, temperature, text, etc. , support team provides guidance when needed via email & is generally quick to respond!

**What do you dislike about Celtra?**

support documentation is lacking in details, often shows a user can execute various creative concepts but does not break down technical limitations or suggestions for execution. Would love to have more desktop executions for open web activation, but hopeful for the skin executions coming down the line

We are solving creative resourcing issues for many clients while also making our creative services quick & efficient - we use celtra to provide custom high impact & standard media executions to our clients despite their resourcing or asset constraints.

Having creatives for all platforms in one place is very helpful, with different resolutions and specs. It's easier to review multiple creatives at once and implement uniform changes across them. It's also easy to organize by brands and campaigns. It completely removes the need for constant emails.

**What do you dislike about Celtra?**

Adding comments and viewing feedback can sometimes get confusing if multiple people are involved. It would be useful to have a better interface for feedback. Sometimes, the interface can also be slow to respond due to the size and quantity of creatives. It would be nice to optimize that.

It has reduced the amount of emails and errors via emails. It is also easier for the agency to make uniform changes across multiple creatives at once in the platform, which reduces lead time and makes the process much faster.

**What do you like best about Celtra?**

The platform is very intuitive. Coming from Adobe's platform, adapting to Celtra has been very easy.  There are a good amount of pre-built components that really help expedite the building process.  I love being able to demo our builds easily with their preview pages...the QR code for mobile previews is also a huge plus.  The built-in image optimizer is a big hit with our team. 

Overall the ad builder is great and has become our go-to tool for creating interactive ads.  

Their support team is top-notch.  We've run into unique client asks, and Celtra support has been very quick to respond with a fix and/or suggestions to remedy the issue. Their support pages are also pretty good.

**What do you dislike about Celtra?**

Not too many bad things I can say about Celtra.  I would like to see better options for masking - this is an area Adobe Animate excels in, and unfortunately we still need to use it on occasion - of course, we would prefer to stick with a single platform.

We've experienced random glitches where the previews didn't necessarily line up with the actual build. Very infrequent, but when they do occur, it can be a hair-pulling experience.

The platform does provide an option to add custom tracking events, though adding custom events to track nap interactions is not easy.  

While I personally do not deal with reporting, I've heard from our ad ops team that it can be a bit cumbersome.

**Recommendations to others considering Celtra:**

Celtra is not an inexpensive platform.  Much of what Celtra provides can be done using other platforms, though they do make things much easier when creating and building at scale.

**What problems is Celtra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Expedience.  I find that we're able to build interactive ads much quicker using Celtra than Adobe Animate or Google Web Designer.  Also, we've been able to expand the conceptualization phase of our designs to include unique interactions not easily developed using the aforementioned apps from Adobe and Google.

Performance and capabilities of mobile rich media creatives are high quality. We utilized mobile tap to play, tap to expand banners, in banner video units for tablet and their mobile scroller units. They always looked great, performed well and rarely had compatibility issues. Building in the Celtra UI is simple and straight forward. I have had positive experiences with customer service and training workshops.  Clients have reached out for us to build custom units. After presenting request to the Celtra support they provided documentation and support to help build out the units. We've been able to turn around custom units in their self-serve platfrom within 5 business days.

**What do you dislike about Celtra?**

Implementing third party trackers and generating tags could be made simpler. Many important reporting parameters  need to be set up manually beforehand while building out the creative. It can be frustrating to not have some common metrics available in reporting because they weren't manually set during the build phase.

It is definitely a must use!
The turn around time for the teams are amazing, its a shorter time frame between building to deployment. The ability to quickly transfer between advertisers expedites a tighter communication.
It works 99.5% of the time without fuss. Advanced creative features are very easy to include. Makes cross-device compatibility and distribution almost completely frictionless. I have enormous respect for Celtra as a company: smart people working on interesting products that genuinely advance the industry; responsive and appreciative of customer feedback; the structure of everything feels like it was genuinely thought out and built to last. Compared to any other creative platform I've used Celtra is just faster, better, easier to use, and with less troubleshooting. Documentation is generally excellent and whoever is writing the release notes is genuinely hilarious. The platform isn't standing still, changes are continuous and result in tangible improvements. It's genuine advancement, not catching up or imitation. Not afraid to terminate peripherals to focus on core and new products, whilst it's occasionally annoying (RIP viewability metrics), in the long run I personally think a bit of ruthless culling leads to a better overall result

Celtra has an outstanding support team, the team is always available to provide the information you need & they do so in a concise & timely manner.

Some of Celtra's rich media  features do not function as well as expected on mobile devices as they do on desktop and the team has to come together to help find a solution or a work around these varies issues. Some times this adds to the cost of the varies campaigns.

Unfortunately  these kind of issues can put a strain on a clients or a campaign,  which is on a limited budget. And in these instances agencies are  inclined to look for options that fit well within the clients budget, as an option.

With Celtra you can serve rich media  ads in many different in environments, Celtra is very accessible their interface is easy and new users don't require  any training, a simple demonstration and  new user can start creating. The celtra platform is quite flexible and agile when it comes to creating mobile centric ad units. It offers a wide array of components to make the production process simple. Along with this they also have developer system in place to customise few / all parts of the ad unit. The platform is supported by all the leading networks which is a plus as well. Hence, it turns out to be a one stop solution for all the mobile advertising needs. AdColony has worked a lot with Celtra on Unilever business for some award winning creatives as well. The support from the team is highly appreciated.

They were quick to take out support for gyro and other features that Mobile OS's planned to remove. It makes it a bit hard to sell ideas to the client who were used to these innovations.

There is lots of useful data and it can be toggled within the platform and processed visually, as well as the ability to pull raw data via an excel doc.

Sometime the sections of the platform with the most useful data can be hard to find/navigate.  But once you find them and memorize the path it's super useful.

Easier to use than some other partners, but I would always push for more developments as I haven't noticed that much change within the platform over the last 4 or so years.

Primarily I use Celtra to identify which platforms, devices, or creative units are driving the most user engagements with Rich Media creatives.  The data as viewed within the platform itself is great for getting top level insights that you can divide between the aforementioned segments.  The ability to download the data via an excel allows you to dive deeper into insights that might not be as easily discovered within the user platform itself.
