Simple to set up and use. We push High school athletic events to a Facebook and youtube page. The program is very easy for even a beginner to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Castr is very easy to set up, however some days it does create a large lag in the service. Make sure you have a good connection and it should be limited. We have been a user for several years, they keep offering lower prices for new customers, as our cost rise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Castr has been a game-changer for our church's online presence. As a pastor, finding an easy and effective way to stream our services was a priority, and Castr has exceeded our expectations. The ability to simultaneously stream to both Facebook and YouTube has made it incredibly convenient to reach our congregation and extend our ministry beyond the walls of the church. The platform is user-friendly and reliable, ensuring a smooth broadcasting experience with minimal effort. If you're looking for a solution to enhance your church's digital outreach, Castr is an excellent choice! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There’s honestly nothing we dislike about Castr. It delivers exactly what we need—a seamless, reliable platform to broadcast our church services to multiple social media channels. The setup is straightforward, the streaming quality is excellent, and it has helped us engage with our congregation in real-time without any technical hassles. Castr truly simplifies the process and does everything we hoped for in a streaming solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Castr was a game changer for the depth of video and live stream management, including the broad toolset. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Castr video hosting isn't still fully embeddable on all Enterprise level CMS systems like Bold CMS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have prior knowledge of streaming and castr was easy to setup and use. It integrateed into my existing OTT problem without any issues, have used on a few streams already with no issues.
I had some simple questions and support answered them for me, very helpfull. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like the functionality, and ease of use. Once you get the basics down, it's smooth sailing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far, the only thing I don't like is having to manually send emails to each pay per stream client. I was thinking when I put all the emails in, it could send the password automatically to each person. But, no biggie...still love it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing about castr is it easy to use interface. Also the readily available help desk via the chat you get help realtime. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Castr servers our livestreaming needs perfectly. We opted for the plan giving us 24 TB of traffinc without the limitations of a monthly cap. This is important because our business is seasonal with high traffic months in spring and fall.
Before switching we looked deep into the functions offered, tested extensively and chatted with the customer service with questions. We evend had a one-on-one video-call with the Castr team, a service a have not seen anyehwere in the entire industry. Implementing a new live stream was easy. As is tghe dayly use. I opted for a professinal plan which unfortunately missses some basic features I frequently use, such as replacing a video after modification while keeping the URL. The socalled dynamic player is nice for a repetitive stream, but cannot compensate for this missing feature. Also the adaptive bitrate function can only be applied to one project at a time, which is not practical. I can work around this limitation by deactivating in project A and activating in project B, since we do not have consurrent streams yet. However this is somehow a hassle. Hope to see this in my plan in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
