What do you like best about CAST Highlight?

I specially liked the ability to upload code samples and see the dependencies and blockers to cloud usage/conversion. The built in reports are very helpful too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

You have to practice a bit with the user interface, but once you get used to it you will like it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hello, thank you for your feedback. We do continue to add contextual tutorial links directly into the user interface of CAST Highlight. If you see a ‘?’ icon, this will pop up a simple tutorial about the current feature.

I like the way the coding vulnerabilities are identified by the tool. The tool also helps assess data privacy compliance. These are critical steps when enterprise applications are planned for a rearchitect. Would like a broader Technology coverage, especially for legacy technologies such as C, Pro*C, Shell Scripts, ColdFusion, etc. for Cloud Readiness analysis. SaaS implementation means ready for Cloud, code scanning for OSS vulnerabilities and IP checks, works seamlessly with most languages and provides deep insights like blockers, effort estimates, to developers on Cloud readiness for their apps. etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Pricing makes this tool not readily available for all development teams since it is a costly tool, hence organizations have to self-manage the licenses to scan apps. Also, some key dashboarding features are available in CastAIP which means one needs to but both tools CastAIP and CASTHL to get a complete picture of their apps.
