The downside of using Cardata for me is the cost/mile calculation based on local fuel prices. My vehicle does not meet the average MPG that was used for the calculation, so I am not reimbursed for the full amount of fuel that my vehicle uses for business travel. During 2023, the Cardata app was not capturing trips reliabily. They have done several updates in 2024 and its seems that all the issues with lost trips has been solved

Its a bit of a phone hog while traveling. I find that my phone tends to get warm on trips due to Cardata running in background, it can also cause issues with streaming apps likes Spotify while traveling Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
