Capture One Pro Pros and Cons

Capture One Pro software is having amazing features and outstanding editing technologies in it to edit and creat interesting and professional looking content for publishing work.

It itself has its own data storing capacity, to keep and save the content within the system, easy to access and export the images and designs.

The versatile image processing and classification feature which are outstanding. All the tools in it are easy to use and implement.

Variety of image producing and editing features available in it like filters, colourising, image compressing according to clients needs, rendering and many more.

It is having the storage for data saving but does not support to convert it as cloud storage, if this would be added to this software, then content accessing from any place would be great.

Issue of slow OS and processing has been experienced, this could be improved by upgrading or updating the software, this is because of bugs in present UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I switched over to Capture One Pro because the camera I use was not compatible for tethering with Lightroom. While this is my favorite feature I am extremely impressed with how robust and easy this software is to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It can sometimes crash but I'm sure this is because of my own system being slow. I also sometimes have issues in the live view not being clear but again I think this may be a user error and not the fault of the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Without a doubt, Capture One is one of the favorite tools for photographers because it allows you to organize your work by catalogs or sessions, you can customize the interface to fit your workflow, it has advanced color adjustments and noise reduction, and a curve learning is not very extensive. As a user of Adobe's Creative Cloud, the cost of an additional license is a factor to consider, as it is necessary to justify this investment in the value that you charge to your clients. Very fast, has more color correction tools than Lightroom and the new HDR is better than Lightroom Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The integration with Photoshop is worst than Lightroom Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Great flexibility to post process images seamlessly. Produces stunning results on Fuji X raw files and easy integration of camera profiles. I you're a FUJI Xtrans user it's a no brainier Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Not as good presets and user profiles and layman interface like Lightroom. But I guess that'll be improved in the future Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
