This solves the problem of spending too much time researching business software across multiple websites. I really appreciate how easy it is to compare different software options side-by-side. The user reviews seem genuine, and the feature breakdowns help me quickly figure out if a tool will fit our technical requirements before I even bother signing up for a vendor demo. Sometimes the pricing information isn't completely up to date or lacks details on enterprise tiers, so you still have to contact sales anyway. Also, some products clearly have a lot of incentivized reviews, which means I have to dig a bit deeper and filter by lower ratings to find the genuinely critical feedback.

It has plenty of reviews, but as a vendor, this platform feels more like a CPC platform than a genuine review site.

Custom services (review managment) were very unhelpful and unwilling to assist an (ex-)paying customer. A false review was posted by someone who wasn’t even a customer.

Capterra is a huge platform consisting of many software detailed reviews. Capterra has a very user-friendly interface I love to use Capterra because I work in a financial company and to run the organization smoothly we need different sets of software like, data analysis, video conferencing, etc. Capterra reviews are so detailed and their comparison with different software is overwhelming. If I go through it once I can easily pick up the best software needed for our company. Capterra also allows us to write reviews of those software which I have used earlier this people sharing their experiences with tools makes it more authentic and reliable for use.

So far I have been using Capterra for more than a year I haven't found any issues using it but sometimes it gets stuck with login and can be annoying.

In Capterra, its user interface is simple and easy to log I just have to search for my needs and it will give a whole list of different software that works with the same domain its overview and user reviews are very helpful for picking the right option suited to me. I have not found anything to dislike about Capterra but sometimes Capterra login issues are like it's just stuck. Which is not so good if you are not able to login only.

Setup was quick and easy and the reviews are (mostly) clear and concise.

They send out incentive links, and reviews written and published by clicking a link earn the reviewer a gift card. (It does not matter if the review is positive or negative). There are many documented instances of reviewers writing reviews after following a link and Capterra failing to honor their own process. It seems a bit ironic that a site that says "trust us" would act like that. 

If reviewers need to be "tricked" into writing reviews, it does raise questions about the legitimacy of what is on the site.

It is challenging to get a real picture of how software "delivers" that does not come from the software provider. Capterra provides a window to see how real people and companies experience the software and that has real value (when it can be trusted).
