Implementing the PIM is not the most natural yet, but the development team has been making a lot of improvements and are very receptive to feedback. The AI search and metadata doesn't work well for niche product groups. The definition and limitations of folders and albums on the Canto DAM are a little weird. What I love about using Canto is the ability to easily configure your digital asset management library in the best way for your end users. Their recent release of Canto XI has made finding and downloading assets easier, and I'm excited to continue our implementation and roll out these features to our organization. The only limitation we've seen with Canto is the requirement of power user seats for uploads. They do have the upload link option for "guest" uploads, but it's not very scalable for managing large amounts of upload personas without Contributor licenses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like using Canto for photo asset management and organization. It helps various departments on campus by allowing us to organize and sort our photos strategically. I think the User Interface could be more intuitive. While I am proficient in the software, a lot of our users have shared that they are confused about navigating the website at times. I think if they could improve the UI to be a bit more user friendly that would be amazing. It would also be nice if we could pin certain files or images to the top of an album for easy access.
