"Streamlined Merit Cycles and Equity Reviews—A Centralized Comp Tool That Delivers"
What do you like best about CandorIQ?

- CandorIQ replaced our manual spreadsheet-based compensation processes with a centralized platform - no more managing merit cycles through Google Sheets.

- The built-in approval workflows streamlined our merit review process and reduced back-and-forth between managers, department heads, and Total Rewards.

- All compensation data lives in one place - managers can see internal equity, range penetration, and market positioning without requesting ad-hoc reports from HR.

- The Ashby two-way integration will be a huge time-saver for recruiting, connecting job and compensation band management directly to our ATS

- Internal equity checks can be built into the Ashby workflow - before any offer, managers see where a candidate would land relative to their current team, which prevents equity problems before they start.

- The range penetration view makes it easy to reframe compensation conversations positively (vs. compa-ratio, which creates pressure toward midpoint).

- It helped us to bring more structure and consistency to offer and promotion decisions - alongside other tools like our new leveling guide, managers now use a shared framework instead of gut feel.

- We successfully launched our FY26 merit cycle entirely through CandorIQ - our first cycle off of spreadsheets

- Incredibly easy to implement, and the customer success team is responsive, with fast turnarounds.

What do you dislike about CandorIQ?

- The reports pulled from the system are formatted unattractively, with some data being presented in a different form (example: amount vs percentage) than what's shown on the screen before downloading. Additionally, some key columns are missing on downloads that are visible on the screen, such as Division, Employee ID, or company email, making it difficult to use them to pull data into other reports.

- As a newer platform, some of the analytics and reporting capabilities are still maturing and we sometimes run into small bugs, which are quickly fixed upon flagging.

- While the AI charts are incredible, they are brand new and so we occasionally supplement with exports and external tools for more complex analysis.

- Would love to see deeper HRIS integration - as we transition to HiBob, getting real-time two-way sync between our HRIS and CandorIQ will be critical for scaling

- Some of the UI workflows for admins could be more intuitive when handling edge cases (off-cycle adjustments, international employee exceptions, proration rules) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about CandorIQ?

CandorIQ has been a great partner for our compensation work. The data is powered by Mercer, which gives me confidence that we are working with a strong dataset and lots of reliable data points. The platform itself is easy to use. Our recent compensation review went smoothly, especially with the ability to pre-load pre-approved raises and require comments for any additional adjustments. Customer service is truly top notch: the team listens, is responsive, and works with us to solve issues quickly. I also appreciate that because CandorIQ is still in a growth phase, my feedback is heard and often implemented, which makes me feel like I am helping shape a tool that really works for us. What do you dislike about CandorIQ?

Right now, compensation bands cannot be automatically updated with new market data. While the team is very helpful in bulk updating bands on the back end, it would be great to see this automated in the future. Some aspects of the platform are still being built out, but that is expected for a startup product. It is also an opportunity, since it means they are improving quickly and adapting to user needs. What do you like best about CandorIQ?

CandorIQ's team were so helpful and hand ons in helping us onboard to get great benchmarketing data and get us through our comp cycle.

In particular they were able to help get all our merit increase letters to employees through their portal (we had 16 different letter types) and they were able to help us automate the letter making and delivery of our letters so that employees could log on and get their letters. They were so quick in helping us deliver these as they got it done for us in one day. Employees were particularly happy to get the letters but also to to see their total compensation value in a dashboard including the cost of benefits and equity within their portal.  

CandorIQ has a really easy to use solution that has helped scale our compensation planning practices. In particular, they have a great benchmarketing tool that takes the best data for your industry to help build your team's levels. The team is particularly agile and was able to quickly delivery feature requests like addition search functionality or descriptions of roles. The service and speed is particularly impressive! They also have a lot of flexibility in their UI for many different cases and if they don't have something and you request it they tend to build it out quickly.

The team is so quick and agile it is amazing to see all the new features that have come out even in the last quarter! I am excited to see what they build next. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The partnership that CandorIQ has with Mercer means that the data can be trusted and I like how the platform can be customised to meet our business needs.
