I used Candidate Labs to recruit multiple new employees to my Customer Success team. I have worked with more than a dozen recruiting firms over the course of my career, and Candidate Labs stands out for their thorough and comprehensive process. Before I get to that, let me make the point that an intelligent and diligent team is table stakes, and Candidate Labs certainly has that. Truly all the individuals I worked with were best-in-class. What do you like best about Candidate Labs?

What makes Candidate Labs stand out is their thorough, comprehensive, and consistent process. There are plenty of recruiters out there who don’t really seek to understand the role and are ultimately just throwing resumes over the wall to see if something sticks. That’s one end of the spectrum, and Candidate Labs is on the other. During intake, they made sure to understand the details of what I was looking for. Then there was a calibration step to ensure we were fully aligned. Only after this were candidates presented to me, and these candidates were carefully pre-screened to ensure my time was not wasted. She knew her client and the role inside and out and asked the right questions to help both of us determine a potential fit in our first call. While serving her client with great attention and insights throughout the hiring process, she also consistently treated me as a valued client. She provided the right level of coaching and direction to ensure I was clear on the hiring team's interests and priorities while leaving it to me to put my best foot forward.

What do you like best about Candidate Labs?

From the first message I received from my recruiter on LinkedIn, the experience working with Candidate Labs stood out (in a good way!) from working with other recruiters. The message wasn't the typical boilerplate InMail but had relevant information about the opportunity that gave me insight into whether there would be a fit before agreeing to a screening call.

That personalized touch remained as I moved through the process for the role. My recruiter stayed in touch and proactively provided information that saved me time, like insights into who I would be meeting with and what they'd be evaluating for in each interview session.
