Canapii Pros and Cons

The Canapii team are great to work with, very friendly and responsive. The platform is easy to use and offers everything needed for virtual events, high-quality streaming and numerous tools for audience engagement such as a social wall, targeted polls, gamification elements, etc. It's also easy to add interpretation to any events via the Interprefy integration that we worked on together. There is also a Canapii mobile event app which is a great addition to the browser-based experience, allowing users to access content from their mobile device any time. Event start and end times were not visible. In one case, I saw two boxes for the same event. Only one of them worked. The text below the boxes was hard to read due to blue on black color scheme. The Canapii Platform is a complete solution for webinars and online meetings. Users can attend and create virtual events, share files, and have meaningful peer-to-peer conversations within breakout rooms. Our ability to quickly learn the system and build our event to our specific needs. The Canapii support team was also fantastic, we always knew that we could reach out if we got stuck or ran into any issues and they would be right there with us to figure it out. Some of in-person attendees found the app hard to use and had issues with it loading, but to be fair our venue was in a pretty remote location so the connectivity issues could have been linked to where we were not the app itself. I also would have appreciated another option for evaluation other than just the polling feature, which only really works well for the virtual sessions, not in-person sessions. I found Canapii to be a bit clunky to use. I couldn't get my pre-registered conference sessions to just automatically add to my schedule. Also, the downloading of files for the sessions was very difficult to figure out on my iPhone App and the reviewing of the sessions didn't work until the end (hard to provide realtime feedback).
