**What do you like best about Campfire?**

Campfire has been excellent in advancing features and listening to our feedback. Their handling and automation of transactions denominated in foreign currency has been a lifesaver for our company.

**What do you dislike about Campfire?**

The only dislike I can say about Campfire is the nitty gritty, company specific things that we would like in the system. Those kinds of requests are obviously a lower priority which is completely understandable given the improvements they are focusing on that benefit larger portions of their client base.

**What problems is Campfire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Campfire has been amazing at solving problems we had with our previous ledger. Applying payments in foreign currencies. Automatically booking foreign exchange gain & losses on those AR and AP transactions. Flux Analysis with extremely detailed analysis of every account. Additional features are constantly popping up that fill a need we didn't realize we had.

**What do you like best about Campfire?**

Campfire changed how our accounting team operates. Multi-entity, multi-currency accounting helped us finally get consolidated reports. Ember AI feels like having an extra teammate available around the clock I can ask it anything and get real answers in seconds - and give access to other internal stakeholders.  The close management tools have cut our month-end close time significantly.

**What do you dislike about Campfire?**

The onboarding process has a bit of a learning curve given how feature-rich the platform is, but the dedicated support team of in-house accountants makes a big difference. It would be great to see even more pre-built report templates out of the box, though the customization options are already quite flexible. Overall these are minor points in an otherwise excellent product.

**What problems is Campfire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Campfire, our team used Xero as well as a product called Joiinn.  This worked fine, however, it didn't support eliminations, currency revalution, etc.  In short, we struggled to consolidate across multiple entities and had no real-time visibility into our financials. Campfire solved all of this; the automated reconciliations and transaction categorization have freed up significant hours per week, our close process is dramatically faster, and we now have live dashboards we can trust. It has allowed us to scale our revenue operations without needing to grow the finance headcount proportionally.

**What do you like best about Campfire?**

I like how easy the platform is to use. I've gotten used to where to find certain transactions or reports, and the search function is very reliable. My new favourite feature is the fixed assets reconciliation. The reconciliation saves me a lot of time at month end. Additionally, the Campfire team was always there to answer questions and hop on calls to walk through something we may need more clarification on.

**What do you dislike about Campfire?**

As of now I think some of the loading times could be improved. This mainly includes the transaction tab. If we edit a transaction directly from this tab, or even bulk edit, then refresh the page, it takes a while to re-load the transactions. Ultimately, the transactions do show up again but it does take some time for the changes to take effect.

**What problems is Campfire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Campfire makes it easy to search activity and do variance analysis, saving time monthly. It's user-friendly with a reliable search and its fixed assets reconciliation feature saves me time at month end.

**What do you like best about Campfire?**

I find Campfire user-friendly and appreciate its native API with several of our vendors. I like how it uses AI to generate any reports needed. I enjoy the ease of use, its flexibility, and the fantastic team at Campfire. When we set it up, their support made every step easy.

**What do you dislike about Campfire?**

The P&L report functionality could be improved. It's currently a manual process to display it by category, and I would like to see it rolled up in columns for R&D, S&M, and G&A instead of by individual departments.

Campfire is user-friendly, integrates with vendors through native APIs, and uses AI for report generation, reducing manual work. I appreciate its ease of use, flexibility, and helpful team.

I really enjoy the Ember AI feature in Campfire because it allows me to pull information quickly and in detail without having to configure my own reports. This makes it very useful for our needs.

**What do you dislike about Campfire?**

So far, the features are very basic. There's a lot that they could improve on such as simple features like showing totals on a subledger detail. The formatting is clunky and needs improvement.

Campfire automates more of our processes and provides detailed reporting. The Ember AI feature lets me pull information quickly and in detail without configuring my own reports.

**What do you like best about Campfire?**

Switching to Campfire from Netsuite has been an absolute game-changer. As a CFO running a multi-currency, multi-legal entity operation, I’ve dealt with clunky, frustrating accounting software before. Campfire? A totally different story.

This platform is a dream—it’s intuitive, fast, and actually fun to use. I used to dread logging into my old system, but now? I look forward to it. Campfire helps us get more done with fewer headaches, and that’s everything in today’s “do-more-with-less” world.

Even better, Campfire is a new player in the space, and they’re already shaking things up. They’re releasing new features weekly (seriously, the pace is wild), and the product road map has me genuinely excited for what’s next. It’s clear they’re building this for the long haul, and I’m here for it.

Shoutout to Justin from customer success—this guy is a rockstar! His support is so good it makes other companies’ “white-glove service” look like amateur hour. Whether it’s the migration (they did everything for me!) , setup, or random questions, he’s been there every step of the way.

If you’re thinking about switching, stop thinking and just do it. Campfire is next-level awesome.

I have yet to experience a downside of using Campfire.

**What problems is Campfire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Consolidating and reporting multiple legal entities with numerous currencies was a headache, and expensive, in Netsuite. Campfire makes it easy and fun! Additionally, Campfire has a dashboard with KPIs that are relevant to my business that I can actually trust. This makes internal and external reporting much easier and less stressful.

Their customer support via shared Slack channel as well as how they manage saas contracts automatically without needing to do manual entries.

**What do you dislike about Campfire?**

The only downside it getting used to new accounting system from what we were used to, but it is very user friendly.

Entering and managing Saas revenue. We can track revenue per customer much easier since it is pretty automated with Campfire. They are built for software companies and it is an obvious step up from QBO.

**What do you like best about Campfire?**

Working with multiple clients, I've worked on several accounting software platforms, including QBO, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and Zoho. Campfire has managed to become my top choice for multiple reasons:

User-Friendly Interface: Campfire is incredibly intuitive and easy to navigate, with a minimal learning curve. The layout is extremely clear, making it simple to find what you need.

Great features with new ones rolling out: Campfire genuinely values feedback from accountants and builds features based on accountants' needs. Good luck getting that from other platforms that can be slow to evolve. I am also very surprised by how seamlessly they implement new features, unlike other accounting software that can be difficult to adapt to after updates.

Exceptional Customer Support: The Campfire team is incredibly responsive and genuinely cares about our team and how they can make our job more efficient and enjoyable. They are dedicated to constantly improving the product based on user input. Also, their team is delightful to work with!

Visually Appealing Design: Accountants spend a lot of time on their accounting software. Campfire’s bright and friendly interface makes that time way more enjoyable. It’s a noticeable difference from the outdated designs of platforms like NetSuite and Sage.

**What do you like best about Campfire?**

So far, our experience with Campfire has been exceptional. Given the countries we operate in and our business model, we have extremely complex needs that most accounting systems cannot meet. However, with Campfire, we've found a solution that not only addresses these needs but has also allowed us to unify several of our accounting and financial processes into a single platform, whereas before we had to use many different ones. What we truly appreciate about Campfire is their team and the dedication they put into every one of our requests. It's clear that they genuinely want their product to work for us, and to achieve that, they are continuously helping us by improving the platform, even when our needs exceed what any standard accounting system can handle.

So far, there’s nothing we don’t like about Campfire. Every request we’ve made to the Campfire team has been handled with exceptional speed.

I've been through ERP integrations before that make your head pound and take so much time. The team at Campfire made it seemless and took most of the leg work. An integration that I thought would take at least a few months was completed in about one month even with a multiple legal entity structure. They are quick to respond and truly value your opinions. They really want their product to work for you, not vice versa.

**What do you dislike about Campfire?**

Everything we need to run accounting processes smoothly is available in Campfire. Because we were using NetSuite's PO module previously, we are now using an outside software for procurement needs; however, Campfire is building a direct integration into the PO software for us to make the workflow even more seemless.

As a software company, revenue management has always been time-consuming. Campfire tracks the revenue for you and saves so much time!

Campfire makes accounting simple. The team has removed all of the innefficiencies that come with a legacy ERP. Additionally, we needed to do an entire analysis of our existing actuals, re-state over 2.5 years of actuals, and enter the new actuals in Campfire. This was all done in less than three weeks, while establishing a go-forward close process, and shortening our close to >5 days.

Looking forward to seeing some of the new features added to the tool that will enable easier controls and documentation.

**What do you like best about Campfire?**

We were looking for accounting software that would be as easy to use as Xero but had  multi- entity support and consolidation. We were so lucky to find Campfire at the time we were making this transition. They were invaluable to us during the migration process and provided a true white glove experience. Their customer service continues to be very responsive, ensuring we are never blocked. We have reduced our month end close time significantly (previously closed in Intacct).  Overall, its been a great experience and we would hands down recommend Campfire.

Some functionality is still in development, however, they are really fast at rolling new products and listening to customer feedback.

Our experience with Campfire so far has been amazing. The onboarding process was quick and smoother than expected given our complex entity structure. The software is intuitive and easy to use. Their customer support is incredible, the team is always available to answer questions. They also genuinely value customer feedback and are always working on adding more features to meet customer needs.

No complaints yet. There are still some features being built out fully however the development has been progresing rapidly. I appreciate the Campfire team's dedication to keeping their customers happy.

**What do you like best about Campfire?**

Campfire customer support is top notch. Real people taking a real look at your question and giving real answers. The onboarding process was quick and painless. The team at Campfire has accomplished a ton in a short time and is sure to do a lot more. The software feels clean and modern and has all the functionality that I need. I was dreading the switch to NetSuite as my company outgrew Xero, but now I don't need to do that. I've been waiting for a company like Campfire to come along for 15 years and now it's finally here.

**What do you dislike about Campfire?**

I don't have any negatives to list, but just a caveat that it's more suited for tech companies and not companies who need inventory or fund-based accounting.

**What problems is Campfire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My previous accounting software was not able to keep up with our number of transactions per day. Campfire welcomes businesses that are doing lots of business and doesn't mind if we are shoving all those transactions in via the API. Maybe they will be forced to implement API rate limiting on transactions some day (who wouldn't?) but helping SaaS companies who rely on APIs and automation is at the core of what Campfire is about.

Not only were the implementation and up-front support experiences seamless, but the product solves our accounting needs while providing a ton of room for growth. Our team loves the interface and ease of use. Support responses are almost immediate, and solutions are white glove.

**What do you dislike about Campfire?**

Though evolving, the system is currently more tailored to software and tech, and our broad array of business ventures included a couple of inventory heavy brands that were not yet ready for the move to Campfire.

Simple and integrated accouting soultion for multiple entities with a complex organizational chart. Interface is powerful yet intuitive, and there is nothign "bulky," as everything feels seamless and accessible.

Campfire understands how a business operates and how the accounting team can build a process and reporting to reflect that. The entire team is so willing to hop on a call all the time. The founder multiple times hopped on a call just to help us out!

Nothing yet! Or atleast nothing specifically that has made it hard.

It has taken what used to be a bunch of super manual accounting tasks that took hours and hours and sheets and sheets and automated them in a way so that the accounting team can focus on what matters which is reporting that can help us drive to decisions.

**What do you like best about Campfire?**

In Quickbooks + spreadsheets, we had more limited financial reporting visibility because we were manually tracking all of the metrics that matter like ARR. We now have broader visibility into the business, which has been super helpful. Department level P&Ls and revenue waterfalls are now fully available in Campfire. The customer support is great, we have a Slack channel with their team. We're very happy with Campfire.

**What do you dislike about Campfire?**

Nothing yet. There's always shipping new features whenever we request them. An example from a while ago is we requested daily revenue accounting, and they added that for us.

We were looking to uplevel our financial reporting and accounting with more automation.

Its the accounting platform you wish existed, it has the features a modern accountant & cpa needs. Tons of customization to fit various industries, simple integrations, seamless onboarding, and an amazing team.

**What do you like best about Campfire?**

The team at Campfire did a great job onboarding and helping me set up the automation for our revenue journal entries. They provided great support when I needed to investigate questions about the data flow. It was a streamlined process from getting the quote to getting the system up and running. The platform they provided is very easy to use and maintain. After our Campfire instance was up and running, I would check it everyday to see track our revenue on a daily basis. It was very easy to integrate Campfire into our tech stack.

I have no complaints as the product works well. They’re always adding new features, so excited to see what they build next.

**What problems is Campfire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Campfire was automating our revenue journal entry process (performed monthly). The old process was a combination of data aggregation and excel formulas. Campfire took our logic as used in our business intelligence tools (e.g., Looker) and created rules to map the results to journal entries. This allowed us to run our revenue journal entries on demand and with a click of a button.

It is a new product, so there are some features that are still being fully fleshed out, that being said that rate of product development has been rapid.

Campfire helped take what was a very manual process for revenue recognition and automated it to save us hours each month. The team is incredibly responsive and customer-focused, and helped get the product implemented so we could start using it as quickly as possible. The value we realized was immediate.

The team is constantly pushing out new features, and I can't wait to see the product continue to grow.

**What do you dislike about Campfire?**

I haven't found anything to dislike about Campfire yet - it's helped us immensely in booking our revenue faster. The team is very responsive to feedback and makes changes very quickly based on feedback provided.
