The configurability of cammsrisk was one of the main reasons it was chosen ahead of other vendors, we were able to take our existing risk management framework/process and have this replicated in cammsrisk. We had a fairly strong process in place already and the main driver was to ensure risk registers were stored in a safer environment, rather than a spreadsheet and to reduce the time spent collating and producing reports. I like the layout of the system - it's pretty simple and information can be easily inputted and then exported out through powerful reports. We've seen a lot of value in the 'quick update' section as this allows users to have a specific page to view their responsibilities. CAMMS Risk has saved us hours of work managing risk across 16 different business areas managed by a local council. We used to have Spreadsheets everywhere, but now all our risks are in one place providing assurance that they are clearly owned and being managed properly. Reports are produced at the touch of a button, which not only makes corporate reporting easier, but has meant they risks can be reviewed by the teams on a more regular basis. The real strength of CAMMS RIsk is the integration between the CAMMS project management, Strategy and Risk products. This makes them stand out in the market at the moment. Cammsrisk is simple, easy to use and affordable. I would happily recommend this to anyone looking to streamline their risk reporting and effectively manage their risk profile across the organisation.
