**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Cal.com?**

I like how Cal.com has completely transformed our team's scheduling management by organizing our workflow better. The pooled and round-robin scheduling features are fantastic as they distribute meetings fairly among team members, reducing workload imbalance. Shared event types are extremely useful for saving time and maintaining consistency in meeting setups. Additionally, the centralized dashboard makes it simple to manage permissions, availability, and upcoming bookings. The integrations Cal.com offers with our internal tools have also improved our efficiency by reducing manual errors. I find Cal.com to be a reliable, flexible, and very easy-to-use platform, and I would strongly recommend it to any organization looking to simplify their scheduling process.

**What do you dislike about Cal.com?**

One area that could be improved is the complexity of certain advanced customization options, which can feel a bit overwhelming for new users. Some settings require extra time to understand, and the navigation for deeper configuration could be more intuitive.

**What problems is Cal.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Cal.com to manage scheduling more effectively, solving issues with overlapping availability and constant follow-ups. It evenly distributes meetings, saving time with shared event types, and integrates with our tools to reduce manual errors, making our workflow organized and efficient.

  ### 2. Streamlined Scheduling with Robust Features and Seamless Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shivanand P.

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Cal.com?**

I appreciate Cal.com's support for team-based scheduling with features that are tailored for organizations. The ability to create shared event types, manage multiple users, and use round-robin or collective booking greatly enhance coordination across our departments. The admin dashboard is a standout, providing clear visibility into team activity and availability while helping maintain consistency and avoid conflicts. The role-based permissions ensure that each team member has the appropriate level of access, which is extremely useful in our academic setting. I also value the workflow automation tools that allow setting up reminders, buffers, routing logic, and follow-up actions automatically, saving a lot of time and ensuring a smooth experience. The seamless integration with calendar and communication tools means everything stays synchronized, reducing friction and preventing double bookings. Cal.com combines collaboration features, strong administrative controls, and reliable automations making it an excellent solution for organizational scheduling. Additionally, the customization for organizational workflows and the detailed analytics and insights are beneficial, allowing us to tailor the platform to our needs and optimize processes with valuable data visibility. The platform's reliability and stability, even during peak scheduling periods, have built confidence among our staff.

**What do you dislike about Cal.com?**

While our overall experience with Cal.com has been very positive, there are a few areas where additional improvements could make the platform even more effective for organizations like ours. One area that could be enhanced is the depth of customization for certain workflow automations. The existing options work well for most scenarios, but having more granular control—especially for complex departmental processes—would allow us to create even more tailored scheduling flows. Additionally, although the admin dashboard is very useful, introducing more advanced reporting visualizations and export options would further support data-driven decision-making. Being able to compare activity trends across teams or analyze booking patterns over longer periods would help us optimize our internal scheduling strategies. Lastly, as our organization grows, the ability to streamline onboarding for larger groups of new users—perhaps with more templated setup options—would make scaling even smoother.

**What problems is Cal.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cal.com solved our scheduling chaos, centralizing and coordinating team schedules in real-time. This reduced administration workload, eliminated scheduling conflicts, synchronized calendars, and enhanced our departmental collaboration. It saved us significant time, allowing focus on core responsibilities rather than operational tasks.

  ### 3. Seamless Scheduling with Customizable Flexibility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sukhdeep B.

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Cal.com?**

I like Cal.com for its high customizability and flexibility. I can tailor booking pages, availability, and workflows exactly the way I need without feeling restricted by preset templates. Its smooth integrations with our calendars and tools mean everything connects seamlessly, eliminating the need for manual work. The automation features, especially reminders and routing forms, are incredibly helpful as they save a lot of time and make scheduling seamless for both our team and clients. The centralized dashboard makes it super easy to oversee all team members' schedules, manage group events, and track booking activities efficiently. Additionally, the role-based access controls are appreciated by my team as it allows us to manage global settings while individual members maintain their own preferences. The detailed analytics provide insights into booking frequency, meeting durations, and team performance, which optimizes our internal processes. Overall, Cal.com combines control, simplicity, and automation effectively.

**What do you dislike about Cal.com?**

One thing that could be improved in Cal.com is the overall intuitiveness of some of the advanced settings. While the platform is powerful, certain configuration options feel a bit scattered and can take time to fully understand, especially when setting up more customized workflows. Another area that could improve is the speed and smoothness of the UI. It works well overall, but occasionally the dashboard feels a bit slow or requires extra clicks to get to specific settings. It would also be great to have more built-in templates or guided setups for common scenarios. That would make onboarding easier for new team members and help speed up the process when creating new event types. These are not major issues, but refining them would definitely make the experience even better.

**What problems is Cal.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cal.com helps us eliminate manual scheduling tasks, streamlines coordination across teams, and integrates with existing tools. It automates time-zone handling and reduces no-shows with reminders, saving time and ensuring smoother operations.

  ### 4. Streamlined Scheduling with Powerful Customization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sumanta S.

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Cal.com?**

I appreciate Cal.com's reliable and flexible scheduling features, which have significantly improved our internal operations. The centralized team scheduling system makes managing multiple team members' availability much easier, reducing unnecessary communication. I love being able to assign event types and configure settings from one dashboard, enhancing our onboarding process. The custom workflow and automation features help us maintain consistent communication with clients, saving time and increasing professionalism. Additionally, I enjoy the platform's flexibility and customizability, allowing us to create event types and workflows that align with how our company functions. Cal.com also excels in team collaboration, with shared availability, pooled booking options, and role-based access controls simplifying coordination. The integrations with our primary tools keep scheduling in sync, ensuring efficient management of meetings and reminders without manual effort.

**What do you dislike about Cal.com?**

The platform is highly customizable but some of the deeper configuration options like complex workflows or conditional logic can take a bit of trial and error to get right. A more guided step-by-step setup or clearer explanations inside the dashboard would make advanced customization easier for new users. When several workflows are attached to the same event type, it can sometimes become difficult to see the whole sequence or identify which step is triggering what. A visual workflow builder or timeline style view would make this much easier to manage. The initial setup of Cal.com for our team was generally smooth, especially for basic features. Where it took a bit more time was in the advanced configurations such as setting up workflows, assigning team roles, optimizing pooled availability, and customizing multi-step automations. The only reason I wouldn't give a full 10 is because there is still room for improvement in areas like advanced workflow setup and mobile admin usability.

**What problems is Cal.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cal.com streamlines our scheduling, centralizing team availability and eliminating manual coordination struggles. It automates client communication, saving effort and enhancing professionalism. Integrations keep scheduling synced with our tools, reducing errors and overlaps. Customization and ease of use fit our team's operations perfectly.

  ### 5. Revolutionized Our Scheduling Game with Flexibility and Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Isaac N.

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Cal.com?**

I really appreciate how flexible Cal.com is for teams, allowing each member to set their own availability and booking rules while maintaining a shared structure. The platform simplifies group scheduling, which cuts out the back-and-forth hassle of coordinating calls, especially useful for demos and onboarding. I love how easy the dashboard makes it for managers to keep track of team schedules. The seamless integration with different calendars and tools is a big plus, ensuring everything syncs without conflicts. The high level of customization, from booking page layouts to workflows, stands out for me, making it feel professional and tailored to our team's needs. I also value the efficiency of the collective and round-robin scheduling features, which help distribute work fairly. The reliability is another strong point—bookings happen without errors, and reminders are timely, removing stress from the process. Workflow automations save us repetitive manual tasks, and the customization of client-facing pages gives a polished impression. Lastly, the system's openness and flexibility allow us to scale and layer on advanced options as needed, which is a great advantage.

**What do you dislike about Cal.com?**

One area that could be improved is the initial setup experience. Cal.com is extremely flexible, which is great once you understand the system, but it can feel a bit overwhelming the first time you’re trying to configure everything. Some of the more advanced options aren’t immediately obvious, so it took a bit of trial and error to get everything set up the way we wanted. Another thing that could be smoother is the user interface in certain sections. Most of the platform is clean and easy to navigate, but a few menus feel slightly buried or require extra clicks to reach. It doesn’t break the workflow, but tightening up those areas would make the experience even faster. I’ve also noticed that when you’re coordinating with multiple external participants (especially people who are not familiar with booking tools), the customization options can almost be too flexible. A few more built-in templates or preset flows for common use cases would help speed up the process and reduce confusion.

**What problems is Cal.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cal.com eliminated constant scheduling back-and-forth, automating availability syncing and booking rules. The round-robin feature balances workloads, and the platform boosts transparency. Its integration with our calendars and CRM prevents conflicts, and the customization options give a polished professional impression.

  ### 6. Streamlined Team Scheduling, Major Time Saver

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chiranjiv .

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Cal.com?**

I really appreciate how Cal.com handles bookings for different team members without creating a mess. Having everything in one place means I don't have to repeatedly ask people when they are available. The round robin feature is a standout as it keeps work moving by sending bookings to whoever is free at that time. The routing forms get the right meetings to the right person, saving us time, and the integrations with video tools are smooth and issue-free. I love the dashboard showing upcoming bookings so the team doesn't miss anything. Plus, I like having control over permissions for each team member which keeps things organized. It truly solves our scheduling problems, removing the hassle of back-and-forth messages. It syncs automatically with my calendar and saves me a ton of stress. I also love how it works seamlessly with other tools I use, just connecting and updating everything automatically, and it has a simple interface that doesn't waste my time. The initial setup was straightforward, getting us up and running quickly. Cal.com just fits with our workflow, making everything easier.

**What do you dislike about Cal.com?**

Honestly, the only thing that bugs me sometimes is that a few features feel a bit hidden or confusing at first. Like setting up certain types of meetings or integrations takes a minute to figure out. Other than that, it mostly works fine, but a little more clarity in some areas would make it perfect. Yeah, if I had to suggest something, it would be making the setup for advanced features a bit simpler. Right now you have to click around and figure things out, which can be annoying. A quick tutorial or more obvious instructions for integrations and customizations would help a lot. Also, having more options for notifications and reminders would be nice so I can fully control how and when I get notified. Other than that, it’s solid but those small tweaks would make it way better.

**What problems is Cal.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cal.com streamlines scheduling for my team, reducing chaos with unified links, automatic bookings, and calendar syncs. It prevents back-and-forth communication and helps us stay organized, allowing the team to focus on work without scheduling headaches.

I really appreciate how flexible and team-friendly Cal.com is. Features like round-robin scheduling, shared team availability, and automated reminders make our workflow much smoother and more efficient. It's great that we can customize meeting types and embed booking pages easily. The reliable calendar syncing has saved us from double-booking issues. I find the platform to be modern, clean, and well-suited for real teamwork. The seamless integration with tools like Google Calendar and Zoom keeps our workflow connected and efficient. Also, it's incredibly valuable that it routes the right meeting to the right team member, automates bookings and reminders, and removes confusion for clients by providing a clear booking link. Overall, it saves us time, reduces errors, and keeps our team’s workflow running smoothly.

**What do you dislike about Cal.com?**

One thing that could improve is the complexity of some settings it takes a bit of time for new team members to understand all the configuration options. Customizing the booking page and forms could also be more flexible. Occasionally, certain advanced features feel a little technical, which might be challenging for non-technical users. Better in-app guidance or simpler workflows would make the overall experience even smoother.

**What problems is Cal.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Cal.com to manage team scheduling effortlessly, eliminating back-and-forth emails. It automates bookings, reminders, and calendar syncing, reduces errors, and offers round-robin scheduling. It's incredibly team-friendly, saving time and providing a smooth workflow with reliable features.

The best thing about Cal.com is its flexibility and openness. It lets you customize almost every part of the booking flow, which makes it feel personal and easy to adapt for different needs. It is flexible, reliable, and easy to use once everything is set up, and it handles scheduling in a clean, efficient way that saves time and effort.

**What do you dislike about Cal.com?**

Some parts of Cal.com feel a bit slow when handling heavy calendars. The setup has a few steps that can feel confusing for new users. More built-in templates and clearer guidance would make the experience smoother. A little more polish in the mobile view would also help for people who schedule on the go.

**What problems is Cal.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Cal.com for scheduling meetings and managing bookings easily. It eliminates back-and-forth messaging, keeps everything organized, avoids double bookings, and saves time with automated reminders.

I mainly use Cal.com to book meetings without the headache of messaging people back and forth. I love how I just share a link and people can book a time that works for them. It’s incredibly helpful that Cal.com integrates smoothly with my calendar, and everything syncs automatically, so I don't have to worry about missing anything. The calendar integration helps me a lot because everything updates instantly. If someone books a meeting, it shows up on my Google Calendar right away, so I don’t have to manually add anything or worry about double-booking myself. We just started using Cal.com because it felt easy and more flexible.

**What do you dislike about Cal.com?**

The interface feels a bit overwhelming when I'm trying to adjust more advanced settings. It should be a bit more intuitive. A step-by-step guide for more complex settings could make the experience smoother.

**What problems is Cal.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Cal.com to book meetings effortlessly and organize my schedule. It sends reminders, connects smoothly with my calendar, and prevents double-booking, transforming scheduling from a time-wasting hassle to a quick task.

  ### 10. “A modern, flexible scheduling platform that saves time and boosts productivity”

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Cal.com?**

What I like best about Cal.com is its incredible flexibility and modern approach to scheduling. The platform makes it extremely easy to manage meetings, automate availability, and customize booking pages to match different workflows. The user interface is clean, intuitive, and fast, which helps reduce a lot of friction when handling multiple clients or team members.
Its integrations with Google Calendar, Zoom, Stripe, Zapier, and many more tools work seamlessly and save a significant amount of time. I also appreciate that Cal.com is open-source, which builds extra trust and transparency. The ability to scale from individual use to team-based scheduling is a major advantage.

**What do you dislike about Cal.com?**

The only drawback I’ve experienced is that some of the advanced features can feel a bit overwhelming for new users. Setting up more complex workflows or multi-host events sometimes requires additional steps, and a more guided onboarding could help beginners navigate everything faster.
Additionally, a few customization options are slightly hidden in the dashboard, which can take time to locate. However, these are minor issues, and the platform improves continuously through frequent updates.

**What problems is Cal.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cal.com has solved the entire problem of manual scheduling and coordination. Before using it, I spent too much time messaging clients back and forth, finding the right time, sending reminders, and managing cancellations.
Now, Cal.com automates everything—availability checks, notifications, time zone adjustments, reminders, and even payments. This has reduced scheduling errors, eliminated double bookings, and made my workflow much more efficient. It allows me and my team to focus more on actual work rather than administrative tasks.

  ### 11. Automated Scheduling Made Easy with Cal.com

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** YADIKI VENKATA PUNEETH S. | Software Developement Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Cal.com?**

I find the flexibility and automation offered by Cal.com for team scheduling really appealing. It efficiently handles complex scheduling requirements without manual labor thanks to features like round robin routing, group bookings, and adaptable workflows. It also boosts operational efficiency significantly by allowing us to manage permissions, organize parent teams and sub teams, and integrates seamlessly with Slack and Zoom. I appreciate its robust security and compliance features, making it reliable for organizational use, as it includes SCIM, SAML SSO, and adheres to SOC2, HIPAA, and ISO standards. Cal.com blends seamlessly with our current ecosystem because of these integrations.

**What do you dislike about Cal.com?**

The entire learning curve is one area where I believe Cal.com might make improvements. Despite the platforms strength, team members who aren't technical may first find it difficult to put up sophisticated routing rules and unique workflows. I think there aren't many alternatives for customizing the calendar invite and booking page design, which can make it more difficult to keep consistent branding. Some aspects of the interface felt overpowering during onboarding until we got used to it. The self hosted version appears to lack some functionality and stability, and handling reservations while on the go is a little less practical due to the lack of a dedicated mobile app.

**What problems is Cal.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Cal.com to automate and optimize scheduling, eliminating double bookings and availability conflicts. It centralizes calendars, manages permissions, and integrates with tools like Slack and Zoom, which simplifies team management and improves operational efficiency, particularly for cross department collaborations.

  ### 12. Flexible, Open-Source Scheduling Powerhouse

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ayush K.

I use Cal.com primarily to simplify and automate my scheduling process. It's become one of the most reliable tools in my workflow, making booking client meetings and team calls effortless. I love how easily it integrates with multiple calendars, preventing conflicts and double-bookings. The customization is great; I can tailor booking pages and event types to my brand. The automation features are impressive, automatically sending reminders and follow-ups while integrating smoothly with Zoom, Google Meet, and CRMs, which saves me hours every week. The user interface is clean and modern, making it easy for clients to use. I also appreciate that Cal.com is open-source, as it offers flexibility and transparency, allowing me to extend features as needed. The ability to embed booking pages directly into websites with consistent styling is another standout feature. With team scheduling options like round-robin and group bookings working flawlessly, Cal.com gives me full control over my scheduling, all while being powerful, customizable, and dependable.

**What do you dislike about Cal.com?**

While Cal.com is powerful and flexible, there are a few areas where it could be improved. Some advanced features require extra setup or technical knowledge, which may feel overwhelming for non-technical users. The customization options are amazing, but sometimes the settings feel scattered, and it can take time to find the exact configuration you need. I’ve also noticed that the onboarding experience could be smoother. New users might benefit from clearer walkthroughs or presets that simplify initial setup. In some cases, integrations or embeds need manual adjustment to look perfect, which adds extra steps. Performance is generally good, but occasionally the dashboard can feel slow when loading analytics or event types. More built-in templates, streamlined UI, and simpler workflows would make the overall experience even better.

**What problems is Cal.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cal.com simplifies and automates scheduling, eliminating back-and-forth messages and preventing double bookings. It syncs with calendars, automates reminders, and offers customizable booking pages. Its open-source flexibility and seamless integrations with tools like Zoom streamline operations and save time.

  ### 13. Flexible and Customizable, Ideal for Streamlined Scheduling

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Babariya N.

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Cal.com?**

I like Cal.com because it’s easy to use, fully customizable, and open-source. The booking pages look clean and professional, making scheduling simple for clients. It integrates smoothly with calendars and video tools, saving time, avoiding double bookings, and making scheduling straightforward for both me and my clients. It solves the problem of back-and-forth messaging when setting meeting times, keeps my schedule organized by syncing with my calendars, and helps manage different types of appointments with customized booking links. I appreciate that I can customize it to fit my workflow, keep full control of my data, and create a professional booking experience. The smooth integrations save time by syncing everything automatically, preventing double bookings, and making meetings easy to manage. I use Cal.com with tools like Google Calendar or Outlook to keep my schedule synced and connect it with Zoom or Google Meet for automatic meeting links. These integrations help keep everything organized and running smoothly.

**What do you dislike about Cal.com?**

Some things that could be improved are the setup process and the learning curve. Because Cal.com is so customizable, it can take time to configure everything the way you want. A few advanced features also feel a bit technical for non-developers. Improving onboarding, adding more templates, and simplifying some settings would make the experience even smoother.

**What problems is Cal.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cal.com simplifies scheduling by eliminating back-and-forth messaging, organizing my schedule with calendar sync, and preventing double bookings. It's customizable, professional-looking, integrates with tools I use, saving time, and makes booking straightforward for clients.

  ### 14. Flexible Scheduling with Seamless Integration and Advanced Team Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rohit C.

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Cal.com?**

I love the unmatched flexibility of Cal.com. Its ability to mold the scheduling process entirely around our business logic is impressive. The Collective and Round-Robin scheduling features are game-changers for us. They allow clients to book necessary personnel at once, and ensure fair lead distribution based on availability, boosting both efficiency and team morale. Workflow automation is another standout, automating pre- and post-meeting tasks saves us hours of manual work weekly. The integration capability is also a huge plus, allowing seamless connections with calendars, video conferencing, and CRM tools. The administrative control provided by the team management dashboard is robust, enabling us to manage user roles and set booking standards easily.

**What do you dislike about Cal.com?**

While Cal.com provides exceptional value, there are a few areas where development could further enhance the platform's utility for large organizations: Deeper Meeting Analytics: Currently, the reporting focuses heavily on booking volume and basic usage. We would greatly benefit from more granular, in-depth data on meeting outcomes, such as conversion rates tied to specific event types, or the effectiveness of certain routing rules. Enhancing this insight dashboard would turn scheduling data into genuine business intelligence. Complexity During Onboarding: The platform's incredible flexibility, which we love, comes with a slight trade-off: the initial setup can be complex. For new team administrators, navigating the multitude of configuration options—from workflows to routing forms and managed templates—can feel overwhelming. A more streamlined, guided onboarding flow for team-level features would be beneficial. Niche Integration Depth: While core integrations are excellent, achieving truly deep, two-way synchronization with certain niche or highly proprietary CRM and internal tools often requires leveraging the developer API. Expanding the native, no-code depth of these specific integrations would reduce the need for custom development work.

**What problems is Cal.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cal.com eliminates scheduling friction by removing endless email chains, prevents double bookings with calendar integration, and improves lead routing through automatic assignment. It standardizes meeting preparation with automated workflows, enhancing professional consistency and ensuring team synchronization through shared availability.

  ### 15. Open-Source Flexibility with Customization Power

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manish J. | Photography, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Cal.com?**

I appreciate having ultimate control and customization with Cal.com. Unlike proprietary tools, Cal.com is more of a building block, allowing for self-hosting, which is particularly valuable for businesses in regulated fields like healthcare or finance due to strict data security and compliance rules. The platform's self-hosting option lets users control 100% of their data. I also like the deep branding and white-labeling capabilities, which permit seamless integration of the scheduler into apps or websites, making it appear as a native part of the product rather than an external tool. The open-source and infrastructure-first approach is highly valuable, supporting control and cost-effectiveness in ways proprietary tools cannot match. These features help developers and companies foster guaranteed compliance and trust, seamless user experiences and brand integrity, complex business logic implementation, and reduced development costs with faster onboarding.

**What do you dislike about Cal.com?**

Simplicity and polish can be an issue because the UI can be complex, making it potentially overwhelming for users. Customer support is slower for those on lower tiers, which might be frustrating when quick responses are needed. Maintenance overhead for self-hosted users can be a drawback, as it requires more effort to manage. The current flow for creating or editing an Event Type has many sections, which, while offering control, can feel overwhelming. It would be helpful to have a guided setup flow to simplify the process for new users.

**What problems is Cal.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cal.com simplifies scheduling by providing a customizable booking link that shows my real-time availability, allowing clients to book easily. Its open-source approach offers control and cost-effectiveness, enabling seamless integration and compliance, crucial for regulated industries.

A more guided onboarding process or step-by-step tutorials could make this much easier. Another area for improvement is the mobile experience. While the mobile version works fine for basic use, some advanced customization features are easier to manage on a desktop. A more fully optimized mobile app with complete control over all settings would make the platform even more convenient. At times, minor sync delays with external calendars can also happen, especially when changes are made quickly. Although this is rare, real-time syncing could be made slightly more robust. Overall, these are not major issues, but small refinements in usability, mobile functionality, and onboarding could make Cal.com even more powerful and user-friendly.

**What do you like best about Cal.com?**

I really appreciate how Cal.com organizes all our scheduling smoothly in one place. The team-based routing, round-robin bookings, and shared availability make it simple for students to meet any available faculty member without confusion. I also like the role-based access control and centralized dashboard that keep everything organized for our departments. Overall, it makes scheduling faster, clearer, and much more efficient for our entire college.

**What do you dislike about Cal.com?**

One thing that could be improved in Cal.com is the learning curve for new users. Some of our faculty need time to understand advanced features like team routing and custom event types. Another area that could improve is the dashboard speed during peak usage—when many departments are scheduling events simultaneously, it can feel slightly slower. Lastly, having more pre-built templates for academic use cases (like office hours, mentoring sessions, or lab bookings) would make the setup even faster for colleges like ours.

**What problems is Cal.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cal.com centralizes scheduling at our college, solving student-faculty scheduling confusion, timetable conflicts, and double bookings. **What do you dislike about Cal.com?**

The initial setup can feel overwhelming because of the advanced features. A more guided onboarding or clearer in-app explanations would help new users. **What do you like best about Cal.com?**

I use Cal.com as a content creator and our team adopted the Teams plan, which quickly became a vital part of our daily workflows. I appreciate how the Teams plan in Cal.com offers powerful scheduling options crafted specifically for groups, enhancing our ability to coordinate calls, demos, and internal meetings across various colleagues and departments efficiently. I find the round-robin scheduling feature exceptionally valuable as it distributes inbound meetings evenly across team members, thus eliminating the hassle of manually assigning calls and ensuring that prospects and customers are automatically connected to an available team member. The collective and managed event types are particularly helpful as they allow us to easily host sessions that require the attendance of several team members, such as for onboarding or project reviews. The team dashboard is an excellent tool as it centralizes how we add members, configure shared events, and manage the appearance and settings for booking pages—it truly feels like a control center that simplifies team management and standardizes the guest experience. Furthermore, the ability to customize workflows and automate parts of the booking process with Cal.com not only saves significant time but also minimizes the errors we previously faced with manual scheduling. The integration with our Google Calendar, which automatically adds events, and the generation of video meeting links are seamless and keep everything within a unified schedule, adding to the ease of use for both our team and clients. Overall, Cal.com's team and organization-focused capabilities make scheduling organized and automated, a stark contrast to the chaotic process it once was, allowing us to concentrate more on our work and less on arranging meetings.

**What do you dislike about Cal.com?**

The number of options in the team and event settings can be overwhelming, making it time-consuming to find the right toggle or configuration. Although the interface is powerful, a simpler onboarding process or clearer defaults for Teams users would facilitate easier initial use for new colleagues. Additionally, experimenting with advanced workflows or routing often requires trial and error to achieve desired outcomes. Improved in-product guidance and examples for common team use cases could greatly enhance usability.

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Cal.com?**

I really enjoy how Cal.com makes scheduling feel effortless for our entire organization. It combines all the essential tools we need, like managing team availability, smart routing, automation, and integrations, into a clean and user-friendly platform that just works. The team collaboration features are standout highlights. Managing multiple users within one organizational setup, assigning permissions, and maintaining consistent scheduling rules have simplified our coordination significantly. The routing options, particularly the round-robin and pooled availability, ensure meetings are distributed fairly and efficiently, reducing manual checks and avoiding conflicts or uneven workloads. I also appreciate how well Cal.com fits with our existing tools. The automatic creation of meeting links, real-time calendar syncing, and built-in notifications ensure seamless synchronization without adding extra steps. The customizable workflows also stand out, allowing us to create structured booking processes with reminders, forms, and follow-ups, which have lightened the administrative load. In the end, Cal.com transforms what can often be a hectic and time-consuming part of our daily operations into a smooth, automated, and trustworthy system.

**What do you dislike about Cal.com?**

Cal.com could improve in several areas to enhance the user experience further. First, the customization options for advanced workflow steps can be limiting. While the automation features are beneficial, more control over conditional logic, branching paths, and multi-step approval processes would be advantageous for more complex scheduling tasks. Additionally, the onboarding process for new team members could be more supportive. Although the interface is user-friendly, navigating advanced routing and organizational settings can be challenging without guidance. The addition of more tooltips, setup templates, or interactive tutorials could ease the learning curve. I also find that the syncing across various calendars or platforms can be slower than expected in larger organizations, so quicker sync times or clearer updates on sync status would be beneficial. Furthermore, while the reports and analytics are useful, offering more detailed trends, department breakdowns, and customizable dashboards could significantly enhance operational insights. Addressing these areas would make Cal.com even more powerful for large teams and complex workflows.

**What problems is Cal.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cal.com automates scheduling, reducing email back-and-forth, preventing calendar conflicts, and managing time zones. It integrates with tools, distributing workloads efficiently and saving administrative time, facilitating smoother operations and enhanced coordination.

Cal.com could improve its learning curve as some advanced settings feel complex. Branding options are limited, and occasional sync glitches occur. A more polished interface and smoother onboarding would enhance the experience.

**What problems is Cal.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Cal.com to simplify and centralize scheduling, reducing back-and-forth by allowing direct bookings and preventing double bookings. It integrates with multiple calendars and features like round robin streamline coordination, making scheduling fast, accurate, and stress-free.

**What do you like best about Cal.com?**

I love using Cal.com because it effectively handles my need for booking sales calls. The seamless calendar connection and matching are invaluable features that simplify scheduling. I highly appreciate the ease of duplication and the user-friendly experience it offers, which makes it stand out. A fantastic aspect of Cal.com is that it's free, which is a huge plus for growing founders like me, and it doesn't require constant updates. The Stripe integration is another excellent feature, allowing me to collect payments upfront without any paywall barriers. The clean and sleek design of Cal.com is visually appealing and significantly better than the clunky paywalled experience of many other platforms like Calendly. Setting up was super easy, and this ease of use continues to support my workflow efficiently. The integration with Gmail and Framer websites further extends its utility. Price and the absence of paywalls were pivotal reasons for switching from TinyCal and Calendly to Cal.com, and I couldn't be happier with this decision. Overall, Cal.com offers a straightforward, efficient, and non-intrusive service, making it an indispensable tool for my scheduling needs.

**What do you dislike about Cal.com?**

I dislike that the Stripe payment feature can be bypassed, which allows customers to book calls without actually making the supposed required upfront payment.

**What problems is Cal.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Cal.com for seamless calendar connection and matching, easy UX, and duplication features. It's free, requires no updates, integrates with Stripe for upfront payments, and is clean compared to other tools, solving price and paywall issues effectively.

Cal.com is highly valuable to me due to its ability to connect these diverse tools effortlessly, enhancing my workflow. Furthermore, it's a perfect solution, boasting better app integrations at a lower cost compared to other alternatives, which made it an excellent choice for switching from a competitor like Calendly.

**What do you dislike about Cal.com?**

I find the initial setup a bit tricky due to the numerous configurations required. For our team, an admin should ideally handle the setup, but we aren't on the team plan yet.

  ### 40. Effortless Group Scheduling with Seamless Calendar Sync

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** samson k. | Civil Engineering Student, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Cal.com?**

As a Civil Engineering student, I have to coordinate massive group projects with 4-5 other people who all have different class timetables. The best feature for us is definitely the "Collective Availability" (Team Events). Instead of sending 50 messages in a WhatsApp group to find a slot, I just send one Cal.com link. It checks all our calendars and only shows the times when everyone in the group is free. It syncs perfectly with my Google Calendar, so I never accidentally double-book over a lecture. The interface is also much cleaner than other tools I've tried.

**What do you dislike about Cal.com?**

The platform is really powerful, but that means the settings menu can be a little overwhelming at first. It took me a few minutes to figure out exactly how to set up the Team link initially. Also, the mobile dashboard is functional but feels a little bit slower to load than the desktop version when I'm on campus Wi-Fi.

**What problems is Cal.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are cutting down the time it takes to organize group study sessions and project meetings. It automates the "when are you free?" conversation so we can focus on the actual engineering work.

  ### 41. Advanced Scheduling with Self-Host Option, Needs Translation in Basic Plan

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ravi T. | Business Process Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Cal.com?**

I appreciate Cal.com for its modern and advanced technology, which stands out in the realm of scheduling tools that often suffer from outdated features and interfaces. The option to self-host is particularly appealing, giving us flexibility and control that we value highly. I am impressed with how Cal.com is on par with other top players like Chili Piper in terms of its modern approach. Another feature I love is the ability to insert specific webhooks for every event, which enhances the customization and efficiency of our processes. The API is superb, which elevates the overall user experience, making Cal.com a well-built product that my company and I use extensively for both our clients and internally. This modernity and comprehensive feature set make it a preferred choice over other scheduling tools I've experienced.

**What do you dislike about Cal.com?**

I find it very annoying that translations are not part of the basic plan in Cal.com. This feature should not be limited to higher-tier plans like enterprise. Having to create multiple forms just for translation purposes is cumbersome. Even services like ScheduleOnce provide this functionality in their basic plan. Moreover, there's no native migration functionality, which made the setup process difficult for me.

**What problems is Cal.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Cal.com to solve outdated scheduling issues with advanced technology, modern UI/UX, and flexible self-hosting options, enhancing our customer and internal scheduling processes.

  ### 42. Effortless Scheduling, Game-Changing Workflows

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saptarshi M.

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Cal.com?**

I use Cal.com predominantly for scheduling calls with my clients and teams, and it has proven to be a significant time-saver with its remarkable features. One of the standout features for me is the ability of clients to schedule meetings themselves, which streamlines the process considerably. The 'round robin' meeting feature is also excellent, as it efficiently distributes meeting times among my team members. The workflows in Cal.com are incredibly effective and crazy good; they automate processes and send automatic emails, which removes the need for manual follow-ups and reminders, allowing me to focus on other important tasks. Additionally, integrating Cal.com with Make.com for automating client discovery call bookings is a seamless experience, requiring minimal intervention once set up, making it even more valuable for my workflow. Finally, the initial setup of Cal.com was very straightforward and quick, taking about an hour, which made transitioning effortless for my team.

**What do you dislike about Cal.com?**

I find the lack of logical forms frustrating. Specifically, the absence of features such as auto-rejection based on certain values within forms limits the efficiency and customization capability I seek in my scheduling processes.

**What problems is Cal.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Cal.com to let clients schedule meetings independently and automate reminders, which saves me a lot of follow-up time. The workflows feature automates communication, optimizing time management for my team and me.

  ### 43. Exceptional UI and Integration Capabilities

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vincent V. | CEO and Founder, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Cal.com?**

I really appreciate Cal.com for its exceptional user interface. Unlike most providers, the UI from Cal.com perfectly matches our needs and doesn't impose an off-brand look on our customers. It's rare to find such thoughtful customizations that exceed what's available from others. Cal.com stands out as extremely developer-friendly and works seamlessly with tools like Atom, supporting our workflow seamlessly. The initial setup was remarkably easy, making the transition smooth. The customization options, combined with the intuitive UI, solidify Cal.com as a valuable tool for client-facing scheduling tasks. I was particularly impressed with the seamless integration capabilities with other platforms such as HubSpot, n8n, Google, Microsoft, and Payload CMS. These integrations enhance our productivity and workflow. The fact that we switched from HubSpot to Cal.com due to its superior UI speaks volumes about its quality. Overall, Cal.com's scheduling capabilities, easy setup process, along with the capability for high-level customization, greatly enhance my user experience, making it a highly recommendable tool.

**What do you dislike about Cal.com?**

I find that Cal.com has issues with minor customization and SEO-related customization options, particularly with h1 tags being used without the ability to change them.

**What problems is Cal.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cal.com enhances client scheduling with a developer-friendly UI that allows extensive customization without off-brand interfaces. It supports workflow integrations with tools like Atom and offers more flexibility compared to providers like HubSpot.

  ### 44. Seamless Scheduling with Cal.com, Minor Sync Glitches

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Cal.com?**

I appreciate how Cal.com makes scheduling meetings and managing freelance consultations efficient and hassle-free. The platform's clean and user-friendly interface makes it easy for others to see my availability and book appointments directly, which significantly reduces the back-and-forth emails typically involved in scheduling. I find the ability to customize booking pages and automate reminders particularly valuable, as these features save me a significant amount of time and ensure that both I and my clients are notified ahead of meetings, which helps reduce no-shows. I like the seamless integration with existing tools, as it streamlines my workflows and maintains my appointments organized in one calendar without the risk of double booking. Setting up my availability and sharing booking links is straightforward and takes just a few steps, presenting a professional image to clients. The automated reminder system and calendar synchronization are also highly beneficial, as they ensure I never forget a meeting and keep all my events in sync with Google Calendar. Overall, Cal.com offers a simple and efficient solution for managing bookings and has made a noticeable improvement in how I handle appointments.

**What do you dislike about Cal.com?**

Sometimes, calendar sync has minor glitches or delays which can disrupt the smooth scheduling process.

**What problems is Cal.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Cal.com to streamline scheduling, eliminating email back-and-forth, preventing double bookings, and ensuring organized appointments. It also enhances my workflow with automated reminders and a clean interface, which is beneficial for client interaction.

  ### 45. Streamlined Booking with Minimal Effort

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel M.

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Cal.com?**

I love using Cal.com for getting meetings booked with clients, potential partners, or any deal flow because it provides an easy way for people to book within my availability and chosen schedule. The minimalist and simple approach of Cal.com makes it a pleasure to work with, ensuring there are no overcomplications. The platform is complete in features and well-connected, facilitating a seamless process for both setup and booking appointments. It is super easy to use, both on my end and for those booking meetings with me, which significantly enhances my scheduling efficiency. Compared to other solutions like Calendly, Cal.com offers better pricing and is easier to use, making the transition a positive experience. I also appreciate its integration with Google Calendar and Notion Calendar, which adds to its convenience and efficiency. Overall, I am highly satisfied with Cal.com and would strongly recommend it to friends and colleagues, as reflected by my rating of 10 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Cal.com?**

I find the lack of a personalizable plugin for Lovable or Shopify that allows booking meetings without adding code to be problematic. This feature would significantly enhance the platform's usability for businesses that rely on these e-commerce platforms.

**What problems is Cal.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Cal.com provides an easy way for clients and partners to book meetings based on my availability, simplifying scheduling without overcomplications. Its minimalist design, complete features, and connectivity offer both usability and competitive pricing, which prompted my switch from Calendly.

  ### 48. Flexible open‑source scheduling platform built for teams and developers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luca P. | Chief Operations Officer DEQUA Studio | Formerly CTO in MarTech, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Cal.com?**

Cal.com stands out as an open, modular scheduling platform with a developer‑grade architecture and a very complete feature set for modern teams. The open‑source core and self‑hosting option make it unique in a market dominated by closed SaaS schedulers, while the hosted version ships with mature integrations, a growing app ecosystem, and enterprise‑ready controls.

The cadence of product updates is active and transparent, with meaningful upgrades to the native video stack, API surface, and organizational management in recent releases.

•	Open‑source foundation and self‑hosting option.
The codebase is public, extensible, and can be deployed on owned infrastructure for tighter control over data locality, security, and compliance. This model also benefits from community contributions and faster iteration on niche capabilities compared to closed platforms.

•	Pricing that scales from individual to enterprise.
There is a Free plan for individuals with unlimited bookings; the Teams plan is listed at $15 per user per month; and a higher tier with advanced org and enterprise features. The official pricing page clearly delineates feature progression from Free to Teams to higher plans, and third‑party comparisons align on the $15 user price point for teams.

•	First‑class scheduling mechanics for teams.
Round‑robin logic with timestamp basis selection, routing forms, and team workflows are called out in public materials, and recent release notes highlight improved scheduling logic granularity and organization‑level permission clarity, which is critical for multi‑team deployments.

•	Native Cal Video with new privacy and accessibility controls.
The built‑in video product gained advanced options: enable or disable recording per attendee role, automatic transcription, and post‑meeting redirects to a custom URL. These are configurable within event location settings and are supported via API v2 for programmatic management.

•	Robust API v2 and developer ergonomics.
Recent updates expose endpoints to fetch full event details from Google Calendar, manage Cal Video settings, and improve caching and API‑key listing performance. There is also a refreshed app install flow to add apps directly to specific event types, which reduces setup friction for complex workflows.

•	Broad integration surface through ecosystem partners.
Zapier offers templates to push bookings to Google Calendar, create CRM contacts in HubSpot, send Slack notifications, write rows to Sheets, and more, which covers most no‑code automation needs. This complements Cal.com’s own App Store and API for deeper integrations.

**What do you dislike about Cal.com?**

Nothing that I dislike or that isn't working.

**What problems is Cal.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I rolled Cal.com into daily operations, the goal was simple: remove the friction around finding time, and do it in a way that scales across teams without boxing us into a rigid process. Over time, it did more than just clean up calendar chaos. It gave us a predictable, repeatable rhythm for how meetings get booked, routed, and followed up, whether the context is sales, customer success, recruiting, or internal sessions.

The first noticeable change was consistency. Instead of scattered booking links and ad‑hoc rules, I configured a small set of event types that mirrored real workflows: first‑touch demos, deep‑dive technical calls, customer check‑ins, and candidate screens. Round‑robin assignment meant new requests didn’t pile on the same people, and routing forms captured just enough context to send each meeting to the right owner. That structure brought a calm predictability to scheduling. People could rely on clear entry points and shared availability logic across regions, without duplicating effort or managing edge cases in Slack threads.

Automation took care of the glue work. With lightweight connectors, new bookings created the right entities in the CRM, nudged the appropriate Slack channels, and logged details in Sheets for quick operational reviews. Nothing fancy at the start; just clean triggers that kept data moving. Once the basics were stable, I layered in API‑level touches to enrich records or adjust behavior programmatically. The net effect was less manual filtering and fewer “Who owns this?” questions. Meetings landed where they should, with enough metadata to start the conversation prepared.

Compliance and data posture improved almost as a side effect of the platform choice. Knowing there was a self‑hosting track and a clear path to stricter controls like data residency or dedicated databases made procurement conversations less defensive. Even when running the hosted version, having tangible options for hardening the setup gave stakeholders confidence that we weren’t painting ourselves into a corner. That mattered most whenever scheduling became a customer‑facing feature rather than just an internal utility.

On the developer side, the API updates made a difference in all the small places where typical schedulers stop. Pulling full event context from calendar providers, managing video settings programmatically, and tying app installs to specific event types let me fine‑tune flows without contorting them. It’s the kind of flexibility that pays off when processes evolve: I could refine logic incrementally instead of rebuilding every few months.

The meeting experience itself benefited from tighter integration around the call. Recording permissions, automatic transcription, and a post‑meeting redirect trimmed extra steps that usually live in separate tools. Ending a call and sending attendees straight to a tailored page for next steps created a cleaner handoff to forms, documentation, or scheduling a follow‑up. Small details, but they compound across dozens of conversations.

Risk reduction was another quiet win. Because the core is open and the self‑hosting option is real, long‑term planning didn’t hinge on a closed roadmap or sudden pricing swings. For any feature that became mission‑critical, there was a viable path to bring it closer to home or extend it in a targeted way. That shaped architectural decisions in products where scheduling is part of the user journey, not just a link tacked on at the end.

Finally, the growth path made sense. Starting on the free tier kept the barrier low while we validated workflows. As coordination needs grew, the team‑oriented features slotted in without rethinking the whole approach. When discussions turned to stricter controls, there was already a familiar surface to articulate what “enterprise‑ready” meant for the stack. It felt incremental rather than disruptive, which is rare for tooling that sits in the middle of so many workflows.

✅ In short, Cal.com didn’t just book meetings more efficiently. It brought order to the intake process, gave operations a dependable automation layer, satisfied security and compliance expectations without fanfare, and offered developers the levers needed to keep the system adaptable. That combination reduced coordination noise and made the scheduling layer feel like part of the product, not a bolt‑on.

**Official Response from Susan Moeller:**

> Wow Luca! Thank you so much for this detailed review! I'm glad you like the round-robin functionality. It's a feature our users rely on quite a lot!
