The ability to obtain basic information about an item with one click is also often used. 3D dimensioning tools are also useful in design discussions. During the project, a model is generated every day and heavily used as a support tool. Most users cannot imagine working without it and are very dissatisfied if the eBrowser model is not up to date. Fortunately, it is possible to easily automatically generate a model every day without the need for supervision from the Cadmatic program administrator. **What do you dislike about CADMATIC eBrowser?** The way you move around the model takes some getting used to, especially since it is different than in the Hullviewer application intended for the hull. Another problem is the confusing documentation regarding more advanced configurations, such as links to documentation, which makes it difficult to fully use the capabilities of this application. SEDS, had been an extensive user of Cadmatic software long back from 2007 onwards. The best part of CADMATIC eBrowser (3D walkthrough) is that it is very user friendly tool for checking the collision between 3D model objects, which thereby ensures the correctness of the vessel construction at site and avoids any sort of reworks and utlimately timely construction / cost reduction / optimized design. eBrowser allows the designers / yard personnel to get the data of each component or model at their finger tips. It also helps to measure the length, distances between the objects thereby ensuring how best collisions (if any) can be avoided. It also has an option of putting "markups" which is an added advantage for seamless correspondence with Client. As part of advancement in technology, we are presently using VR functionality for project reviews with our Client. To summarize, as a ship design company, Cadmatic eBrowser tool had helped a lot to shift from conventional 2D checking to more comfortable 3D collision checking and easy way of correspondence with Client. **What do you dislike about CADMATIC eBrowser?** Eventhough, Cadmatic eBrowser is one of the best reviewing tools available, here also there are a couple of wish list which can make the software an improved one. Eventhough, the information can be seen, one of the major drawback which is noticed is, limitation in "EASY CUSTOMIZATION" of information required according to the needs of Client (like not able to get specific information of pipe surface area / volume, average equipment Centre of Gravity etc.). It would be good to have additional selection criteria (presently it's difficult to select a spool piece in ONE click directly from the model). **What problems is CADMATIC eBrowser solving and how is that benefiting you?** The software primafacie gives a better understanding due to its 3D walkthrough and viewing feature.
