C2 backup is fast, efficient, easy to install and use but most of all has the outstanding Synology technical support behind it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The "Indiidual" is limited to 5TB (my personal Mac has more than that to backup) and uses Mac OS' snapshot feature that requires a significant amount of free disk space. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is easy to use, does its job nicely in the background and is an excellent choice for the price. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is no such thing, I am very satisfied with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

To back up our family NAS in the Cloud, I researched many possible solutions, but I found most too complicated (to set up or understand the financial price plan). With Synology C2 backing up is easy: it's fully integrated with Synology Hyber Backup, so Synolog-easy to set up. Moreover, the price plan is straightforward: a monthly/annual fee, and I never had to worry about TBs being uploaded or stored. That's the most crucial aspect: backing up your data has become so easy that I forget that all my most important data is safe. This brings me to the other advantage of C2: We've been trusting our data for over a decade to Synology NASs. I'm confident that our data is stored reliably in the Synology Cloud. The only dislike is that I've been fortunate enough not having to rely on the backup restore functionality from Synology C2. I fear the day that my Synology NAS will be utterly destroyed and that I will have to buy a new one to restore our data from the C2 Cloud. Another feature I didn't like with other Cloud backup solutions is the complicated way to store and keep keys to identify yourself in their Cloud for such disasters. With Synology C2 Cloud, I'm slightly more confident that I will be able to identify myself through my Synology account and restore my data. I worry about that day, but I haven't found a way to simulate that scenario safely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The software is very intuitive and doesn't require any handling after installation. It is very convenient to automatically backup other computers in my group. I manage to backup their computers without asking them to do anything; the software does it all in the background.
I can easily see from the dashboard which computer has a backup and on which date.
Also, the backup trigger settings are helpful and contain many options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The software requires a very high upload speed to completely backup in a reasonable time. If in some places you do not have high-speed internet, the software will use all the available bandwidth and you will not be able even to surf the web.
Also, the program doesn't have the option to buy 1TB of space, and you can choose only 500GB at a reasonable price or 2TB at a high price. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've been using C2 Backup on my NAS for a few years now. It was simple to set up, and reasonably priced. I have multiple jobs scheduled to back up specific folders and app data each night.
There are different ways that I can be notified of backup success or failure, and I just have it set to notify me of a failure, which, I can probably count on one hand the number of failed backups since I began using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think there should be a branded C2 app available in DSM... You actually have to set up C2 through a seemingly unrelated module. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Intuitive interface, C2 Backup is easy to set and use, bringing information to manage the daily backup deal.
The full backup of 7,3 TB data was done in a week, restoring my sleep nights!
Incremental backup is on its way daily, so I'm very comfortable recommending this solution! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing at all at this time...
Maybe a more user-friendly interface to manage backup restore, but nothing serious to change...
I can say I'm fully satisfied at this time! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing of C2 is its ease of use and realiabity. I had an issue and service support worked to fix it in a few hours. Very greateful for all the service and functions of C2. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like to pay for what I use, not for the spare storage I'm not using. If I erase or optimize my storage I have to change plans. I would be more willing to pay ony for what I use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
C2 Backup is one part of the C2 offerings, but you can pick and choose which components you want without requiring the others:
C2 Password
C2 Backup
C2 Transfer
C2 Identity
C2 Storage
Synology have three regions you can choose from for C2 Backup: Europe – Frankfurt, North America – Seattle, and APAC Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't have any dislikes, I have been using the services for years and will never look back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love C2 Backup's baremetal backup. I can just backup my pc in a click, and if I'd wanted to, I also can restore it to any given version at any time. Like my whole PC. It's just awesome! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think it should have an option where I can specify specific folders to back up too, not just volumes/ the whole system. I think that's pretty annoying in it, but other than that I love it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The c2 backup service by Synology is simple to set up and easy to understand, unlike other cloud providers with complex pricing structures. Restore and recovery process is simple ans not complex. The only thing is the limit of 1tb for the basic account which in this day and age is quite low for a backup solution! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Limit of 1tb on the basic backup option. Given the most simple NAS devices are likely to hold more than 1tb this seems a bit of an omission! Pricing for 1tb is not as competitive as other options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
