I'm revisiting my review for this HIPAA compliant communication and productivity tool, and I'm delighted to say that my initial  rating remains firmly in place – if anything, it's even more deserved now.
Over the past couple of years, Buzz has consistently evolved with each update, showcasing remarkable improvements in both its user interface and overall performance. The UI is more intuitive and visually appealing than ever, making daily tasks a breeze. Performance enhancements have made the tool incredibly responsive, significantly boosting my productivity.
A standout feature is the recent integration of AI technology, which has been a game-changer. It has genuinely helped me save considerable time in document creation, streamlining workflows in ways I hadn't anticipated.
Furthermore, Buzz support is fantastic. On the rare occasions I've needed assistance, their response has been swift and the solutions provided have been entirely satisfactory.
This product continues to exceed expectations, proving to be an invaluable and indispensable tool. Highly recommended!

**What do you like best about Buzz Medical Messenger?**

Buzz's smart shortcut function is what I enjoy the most. Buzz offers every significant function I'll ever need in one location. There is another choice, which I tend to use.  Predefine Sending messages in a way that takes into account the circumstances I'm in and eliminates the need for me to compose any messages is helpful since I can reach the appropriate individual. I am able to quickly tag any individual or group for direct communication. I am using this for the last 3 years and over that period, the developer team has added new shortcuts which make my life easier. You don't have to remember the key sequence for any action.

**What do you dislike about Buzz Medical Messenger?**

Buzz has a tonne of features that I haven't yet discovered. There is nothing to dislike about buzz, insofar as that is possible.  I frequently receive updates. That's why I'm impressed and I'll jump to use it.

**What problems is Buzz Medical Messenger solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Buzz allows me to communicate with coworkers in a HIPAA-compliant manner. I am satisfied that I can share clinical information securely (if applicable) under the best possible conditions as privacy and confidentiality are considered. Sharing my records in a secure setting is crucial to me. I can sign consent forms and a lot more thanks to Buzz. They also added the receiving the fax from Buzz app which is very convenient as I don't have to buy Fax machine.

HIPAA compliance gives us confidence that enterprise communication will never be compromised. The app is an excellent utility for enterprise-level communication.

The app serves the purpose well. The team is very active in releasing new features. The support team is very prompt at resolving it If there are any issues. So there is nothing that I dislike about the Buzz App.

I liked the new features. I like the security and collaborative features the most. I can look at locations, make phone calls, communicate with colleagues easily using video conferencing, and exchange and sign documents. New feature which I like the most is even if my phone is on silent I am getting urgent messages.

I am yet to explore lot of features . Got proficient using buzz few times. Documentation and inline help is beneficial.

What I like best is the collaboration feature,  instant communication as well as integrated phone/video/fax/email. Now Buzz has feature where I can check the messages sent to me in a group.

With the collaboration feature, I can share the document with my colleague and get the feedback or edits if required. This way I do not have to worry whether I sent the latest document or not. The instant communication as well as integrated phone/video/fax/email saves a lot of time as I do not have to install individual apps for these functions.

Also, with search functionality for finding messages sent to me specifically in the group, makes my search easier. I don't have to scroll pages to find the messages.

If you're looking for a HIPAA-secure way to collaborate with your team, consult with other providers, and even communicate with patients—all in one place—Buzz has you covered.

Privacy is a big concern in healthcare, and Buzz keeps everything secure. Every message, call, and document is protected, so patient information stays private. I also love that I can call patients without sharing my personal number!

eFaxing has been a little bit of an issue, but they are working to improve it all the time.

We were unable to easily communicate with doctors 7/24 in a system that we knew was HIPAA compliant. This also provide a way for doctors and nursing staff to share pictures and documents.

It just works!  We use it throughout the day both on our desktops and our mobile devices and it always works well.  It gives us great peace of mind to know that we are communicating in a secure and compliant fashion.

Our organization has not experienced any major downsides.  If anything, there are features BUZZ has that we need to explore using more in our operation.

Our organization uses Buzz to ensure we are communicating about our clients/patients in a secure, compliant fashion.  I always have it open on my desktop and always have it open on my mobile device. I was introduced to Buzz since its early days. As a doctor, I’ve seen firsthand how fellows and residents sending texts can create potential HIPAA risks. That’s why I appreciate Buzz so much—it provides a secure way to communicate without worrying about compliance issues. One of the biggest benefits has been discovering the ability to invite other providers, making collaboration seamless. Sending Buzz video requests to patients and including family members when working remotely has also been incredibly helpful. For physicians they also allow us to get the Buzz phone with a unique number to enable us to give to patients while being on call to avoid having give my cell phone number. Finally, when our providers need help, the Buzz Concierge is always quick to respond, making the service truly stand out.  Overall - Buzz has been efficient and secure.

Nothing to dislike, the multitude of features could be daunting but they have come up with a simple interface for the newcomers.  I have transitioned to the advanced mode by now to use the AI Lightning features as well as integration with EPIC.

Buzz is an impressive tool that could change the way communications take place in a clinical set up! A lot of communication slack is seen in a clinical setting and I often found myself waiting for a response to an email or for signatures on a document; however, with buzz everything gets much quicker. Along with the basic features that allows one to share texts, audio, files, location, etc, what I love about Buzz is the HIPPA compliance and security it offers. I personally do not trust watsapp or texts for sharing patient information. Buzz feels like a modern way of operating efficiently in healthcare.

Over the last decade, I've tried quite a many messaging apps and of the healthcare-specialized apps, Skyscape's Buzz is currently my favorite. It's got tons of features that make communication and more important, collaboration a breeze and you can tell the team behind it is really trying to innovate and improve the user experience and not just make a quick buck.

One of the best things about Buzz is how responsive the developers are. Whenever I've reached out with a suggestion or request, they've gotten back to me super fast, and they've even added some of my ideas to the app! It's awesome to see an app evolve based on real feedback from users like me. And as an admin, the concierge/support team being helpful and responsive in real-time is a massive win.

HIPAA compliance is a must in health-care, and Buzz definitely delivers there. It blows a lot of other HIPAA compliant alternatives out of the water in terms of usability and functionality. Plus, there's no long-term contract. Its refreshing to see a company not rely on sales tactics like long-term contracts and continue to earn my business via a great product.

All in all, if you're in healthcare and want a communication app that's feature-rich, responsive to feedback, and HIPAA compliant, I cannot recommend Buzz enough.

This software is great! I have been saying that for about six months now. I am continually amazed by all of the useful features, as I keep discovering them, such as the very handy notepad, or the ability to upload a document and revise it and send it out to a patient. Now that war by patients have downloaded the app communicating has becomes sables and share information with my office. Staff is also quick and efficient the document exchange, especially now in the beginning of the year when insurance changes has been ever so useful of course the friendly personal customer service by knowledgeable support has been the selling point. They have attempted to attend to the needs of even my small practice.
I definitely recommend this to my colleagues.

I like that this app is medically geared towards privacy. It makes it much easier to be able to mention a person's name, and everyone understand who were talking about versus initials.

My least favorite thing about Buzz is having indications that I have notices waiting to be seen when I've seen everything that has come through. Not being able to clear this out is frustrating. Not knowing why it happens is even more frustrating.

Our rehab team consisting of 25 therapists is dependent on this app for communication. We have tried several other apps in the past, but have not had the success that we do with Buzz in regards to organized and efficient communication. With such a big team, we have many moving parts within our building, requiring a critical level of communication to ensure safe patient care, billing changes, and communication with case managers and doctors for discharge planning or any abnormal change in a patients condition that the doctor needs to be aware of.

It seems to download messages faster and provide immediate alerts of a new message on iPhone compared to our users with androids.

With so many patients changing insurance plans, or having random discharges, we were unable to effectively communicate with our case managers in a timely manner before using Buzz. Our group chat with our case manager has helped us financially to ensure we are not providing treatment for patients without a therapy payer that often randomly changes throughout their stay.

Buzz is very easy to use and was able to onboard in 5 minutes. Very useful in my dental clinic to exchange secure messagles. Also love the caller id feature allowing employees to make phone calls to patients using clinic caller id. In future we will evaluate integrating with our EMR software which Buzz is capable of doing. Their customer service is great and it is real time through Buzz itself.

I have evaluated other platforms and Buzz is the only platform that provides a comprehensive solution for all my collaboration needs with my clients.

Nothing really - but I wish that some of the other ecosystem partners were using this platform which could make my entire business dealings seamless. I am sure that over time this will happen and till then I keep referring my partners to download and use Buzz.

Like all new tools, the interface can take a little getting used to. That said, the UX is pretty intuitive, and there are pop up lables that help clarify what a particular feature is/does if you're confused.

**What do you like best about Buzz Medical Messenger?**

Buzz is among a very small # of apps that have become essential in my day-to-day clinical life.  It helps me stay connected to my practice, patients, and colleagues in a smooth, easy interface.  It provides me with way more than a secure texting environment.  The app handles pretty much all kinds of media - photos, video, video chat, and even fax.  The app gives me my own secondary phone # to keep my regular cell phone private.  The way Buzz lets me link to medical references and compendia is another added plus for this platform.  I can not only stay connected while rounding, but I can also handle all kind of messaging during my day - while in the office or on the go... Overall the app has become one of my top 3 on my iPhone - just after email and my browser.   

What I most like about the app is that the developers continue to update it and add new functionality regularly.  The capabilities have grown tremendously over the past few years... I'ts like they understand how healthcare providers think and work... I'm guessing they have some actual healthcare providers on their development team - it's obvious that they spend a lot of time thinking about what I need during my work day... 

I've been using Skyscape apps since my fellowship days (which are long behind me now) - their comms platform is precisely what I've come to expect from this healthcare-focused organization.

**What do you dislike about Buzz Medical Messenger?**

I was going to recommend more AI integration beyond the medical references.  But when I checked their website to see what’s new, I realized that the team publicly launched a ChatGPT integration last week.  So I guess I am impressed and will jump to use it.  This is exactly the kind of cutting-edge of development and advancement that I've come to expect from this development team...

**What problems is Buzz Medical Messenger solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Buzz provides me with HIPAA-compliant communications between my office, my patients, and my colleagues.  I feel confident that because of the attention being paid to privacy and confidentiality, that I can safely share clinical information (where appropriate) under the best possible condition.  In addition, the other services that are attached to Buzz, like Buzz Lightning, provide value-added services that are super helpful on the fly.  As I travel from place to place in my practice, I'm able to stay in touch with those around me in a secure manner.

**What do you like best about Buzz Medical Messenger?**

The collaboration is miles ahead of what I have seen in any other platform, the group feature and the message threading are VERY unique and purpose built.

The security via end to end encryption options is another rock solid feature.

The idea that I can facillitate form population and share in a colaborration, just amazing truly the only tool I need to commuincate and facillitate my business!!!

End to end this is a superior platform that is fit for purpose for the medical professional or anyone that needs the ability to seriously colaborate

I only wish I found it sooner... more marketing to get the word out

**What do you like best about Buzz Medical Messenger?**

I am a cardiologist and have to rely on communicating with my staff as well as patients and family members.  Apart from using the chat and sending documents for signatures and consents, I make phone calls using my virtual phone number assigned through Buzz.  The integration is smooth and I find it better than using EPIC or mychart.  Personal fax and telehealth video is also very useful.  Some of the location based features recently added work well for my remote team and techs.

I find the integrated support very responsive and much better than calling my helpdesk and being put on hold.

I wanted to update the experience with faxes as well.  We have a rural site where they use faxes to send ekgs and being able to give a Buzz fax saves a lot of hassle as the faxes are routed to buzz groups and it helps as any one of the cardiologist on call gets them instantly and advise.

**What do you dislike about Buzz Medical Messenger?**

Nothing so far.  There are many features that are useful but use them occasionally and will discover to reduce repeated tasks.

**What problems is Buzz Medical Messenger solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a busy physician, I am bombarded with a lot of interrupts for patient care.  It is much easier to locate the information and share it with the right parties immediately and get a response that is available when needed. It is not always possible to go back and forth for instructions or dosages for patients and also communicate with patients about any abnormal results or course of actions that always trigger a dialog.  Buzz allows us to be more productive and remain HIPAA compliant, and also manage the log of calls/video sessions and other information for record keeping.  I can look up or even connect to my EHR to get quick information for the bridged patients.  We have initiated to keep 1 grp per patient and it helps to keep track of information for anyone managing care.

I haven't been able to use the fax feature yet.  Even after reaching out to tech support.

It is obviously keeping us compliant.  It is also a great tool for keeping all our team members in the loop.

Buzz is very easy to use and I was able to onboard in 5 minutes. I was able to onboard my entire team in one day.  The UX is pretty intuitive, and there are pop up lables that help clarify what a each feature does.

**What do you dislike about Buzz Medical Messenger?**

Nothing to dislike. There are a lot of features, and I know we are aren't using the platform at its full capacity.
