What I like best about Burrelles MYNEWSDASH is its comprehensive and fast media monitoring.

It pulls from a wide range of sources—print, online, broadcast, and social media—with little to no delay. The search is reliable, filters are effective, and results come in quickly. What do you dislike about Burrelles MYNEWSDASH?

The reporting format is the biggest drawback.

Reports aren’t well laid out—they feel bare and hard to scan—and there are very few customization options to tailor them for different audiences or use cases. We use Burrelles MYNEWSDASH to track media mentions across a wide range of clients, and it’s especially helpful for monitoring print and offline coverage that many other platforms miss.

What do you like best about Burrelles MYNEWSDASH?

Most media tracking software is strictly digital, so BL helps users track print media. Most similar search engines only record online coverage, so especially for local outlets or print-only coverage, it's a must. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Burrelles MYNEWSDASH?

Exporting results can be slightly cumbersome and the service does not provide transcripts of the found clips, so searching can be a pain. It would be nice if instead of a simple printed scan, they could also provide a transcript of the article so that it can be used more broadly in coverage reports. What do you like best about Burrelles MYNEWSDASH?

They reliably send daily emails updating us on references both online and in print. The search engine is consistent in uncovering references to our university. The ability to prepare and develop customized media reports is incredibly useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Burrelles MYNEWSDASH?

I'd like it if we were able to track outside of our area, but it is, I believe, a more expensive plan we don't have the budget for; there are occasionally smaller media outlets they don't capture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Burrelles MYNEWSDASH?

I guess it does function. It does monitor media coverage which is something I need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The algorithms it uses don't really seem too effective. I get a lot of irrelevant coverage in my clip reports and they often clip web material which I'm not necessarily looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Alright, but takes a few days"

What do you like best about Burrelles MYNEWSDASH?

It definitely can grab some of the smaller media organizations that don't show up in google searches.Our local media outlets in Rhode Island sometimes do not show up in our google searches and BurrellsLuce typically catches them in order for us to include them in our press clips. Additionally, I like that it clearly states which newspaper it's from in the chart sent directly to my email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Burrelles MYNEWSDASH?

Sometimes it takes days or even weeks to pull clips, which can be quite frustrating. Additionally, the format in which the clips are sent is graphically quite old. With all of the formatting technology, this is something that BurrellsLuce could definitely improve on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Honestly, if they could find clips faster that would be excellent because as I previously mentioned, there are times that we'll receive clips that are weeks old. Additionally, some of the clips have websites attached to get to the original link while others do not. This can be somewhat aggravating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Burrelles MYNEWSDASH solving and how is that benefiting you?

As mentioned, BurrellsLuce allows out office to detect mentions of our boss from smaller and more local media outlets. This allows us to get clips that we may miss through a regular google search.
