## Buildr Reviews
  ### 1. Streamlined Pre-Construction Management Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin O. | Pre-Construction Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

I like Buildr's clean, usable interface. I appreciate that it tracks my project budgets throughout a design life-cycle and makes it easy to draw upon those past and current budgets. The initial setup of an account and getting started as a new user is very easy and straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

There are a few small improvements that could be made to the estimating tool that would make a big impact on its usability and efficiencies. Some things that could help a lot include: some export or reporting feature of all VE/Change items within an estimate, ability to add a line item number or something similar to control the order in which line items appear within a single cost code, ability to show the sum of each CSI division or cost code as a $/SF against the overall building GSF, and ability to customize the Milestone Reports before creating the report. Customizing things such as titles, adding cost/SF or other metrics to the report would be beneficial.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Buildr gives me one source of truth for customer relations, helps expedite estimating on projects, and tracks project budgets effectively.

  ### 2. Easy Setup, Collaborative Views, and Seamless Procore Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason A. | VP of Construction Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

The pros for me are that it is easy to setup and use, collaborative, leads vs projects (opportunities), workforce planner, unlimited views with useful filters, custom fields, and the integration with Procore. We haven't had a chance to use the forecast, budget, and cost modeling feature due to a limitation on our end, but once we adopt the new accounting software and update our CSI Master cost code list.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

The biggest drawback for me is that there isn’t a good way to track re-bids or projects that are bid more than once. We do a lot of preliminary pricing, and it typically involves more than one round of pricing, so it’s hard to keep everything organized and easy to follow. The reporting feature could also use some much-needed improvement, especially to give us more control over formatting and to make dashboard creation more flexible.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking leads and bid opportunities.

  ### 3. Great Support and Easy Rollout That Streamlined Our Daily Processes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** TMcC . | VP Preconstruction, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

The BUILDR customer support team is great. We use BUILDR daily to manage LEADS, Workforce, and Projects all of these functions helped to streamline our processes. The implementation and integration were an easy roll out through the company. The interface is easy to use. It's hard to put all of the benefits into 40 words or less. I typically have BUILDR constantly up in my browser.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

Some o analytics are difficult to keep accurate. Extrapolating cost models or budget comparisons from the system in a client viewable form would be a great feature. Filtering to create specific reports, views, functions can be a bit cumbersome and difficult to figure out. It's hard to tell where BUILDR is connecting the dots for certain relationships between functions.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking and managing our Workforce for preconstruction and active construction is a great benefit. Tracking LEADS. Managing our preconstruction projects and efforts. The budget tool has provided a place for cost modeling and tracking. The analytics are helping us to track our activity in various market sectors, clients, and win rates. We are still scratching the surface of what BUILDR has to offer.

  ### 4. Buildr: Easiest CRM UI, Fast Setup, and Fully Editable Data with Change History

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah L. | Director of Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

Buildr has one of the easiest user interfaces of CRM's I have ever used. I have helped implement 4 CRM's in my time, and this also had the quickest setup time. I love that every piece of data can be edited and that there is a change history, so you know when and what was changed and who changed it. The Buildr team is also great at listening to what we need and pushing it into development if it makes sense overall.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

There are a few quirks, for example when you are scrolling through a calendar it jumps up and down which makes it a little difficult to quickly go through months. Not having availability of filters on every view, for example, on the utilization page it would be ideal to be able to hide any projects not currently active without having to delete the workforce role, because it would be great to have those dates to look at in the future when we refer back to the project. I know there is a way to do this in a different view, but for our workflow, we want to see utilization categorized by person so we can see what all they have going on as opposed to seeing it by project which doesn't give us the full story of how the person is utilized.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All of our data in one place, before Buildr we had multiple departments all working off different excel documents, now all of that information lives in Buildr.

  ### 5. Easy to Use, Seamless Implementation, and Outstanding Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Olivia Y. | Pre-Construction Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

What I like best about Buildr is the ease of use for all employees. The platform is easy to navigate and is something that our team is constantly using and updating. The customer support is outstanding from the team at BUILDR. I was extremely worried about the transition and implementation process, but they made it seamless to integrate into our workflow and get all of our current information transferred over.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

The only downside to Buildr that I have found is that sometimes we cannot customize things exactly how we want them; however, we always find a sufficient solution.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are many problems that Buildr solves for our business: client relationship management, bid management, pre-construction project management, reporting, and revenue tracking, to name a few of the primary functions. All of these functions support our business development, pre-construction, and estimating teams. One of the primary uses and benefits is our bid/proposal schedule, results, and active pursuits. This allows our team to have a real-time view of our active pursuits, upcoming deadlines, pursuits that need to be followed up on, and leads that should be top of mind. The reporting function in Buildr is also something that we rely on quite heavily to keep a pulse on our revenue goals and track each of our revenue streams.

  ### 6. Powerful CRM with Customizable Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh Y. | Project Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

I like the ease and ability to customize Buildr, add fields, filter, and create different reports or views very simply. I appreciate being able to see all of our data in one place instead of having to go to multiple platforms. We can track upcoming projects, our people, all of our customer relationships, our project information, ongoing pursuits, and more. All of our data is conveniently consolidated. Additionally, the initial setup was extremely easy, and it was user-friendly enough that new users could understand it in about thirty minutes.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

I'd like to see more customization options on the leads tracking portion, but that's a new feature that they just rolled out. So I know that feature will come in time.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Buildr to track staff and projects, manage customer relationships, and get real-time visibility into project assignments. It helps pair employees with customers and ensures all data is accessible in one place, reducing the need for multiple platforms.

  ### 7. No-Nonsense CRM That Streamlines Pre-Construction Tracking and Budgeting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Philip E. | Commercial Real Estate Agent, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

It has a non-nonsense CRM that I utilize as our primary CRM. The ability to track jobs completely through the pre-construction process works well. The ability to easily use/compare previous projects for budgeting purposes. The people that we've dealt with at Buildr have been terrific. They have proactively reached out to ensure our success. They are reachable and helpful, and if they can't help us they take the suggestion to heart and seem to be always working at making the software more robust

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

Navigation overall is smooth but some steps are a bit clunky or not intuitive for me.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Builder is bringing our BD/pre-construction and estimating team together. The whole process is now much more organized - less things falling through the cracks. We are adding more and more past project budgets in every week. That, coupled with the new projects we've been entering in there, are giving us a very usable database for budgeting and estimating. It saves us a lot of time.

  ### 8. Buildr Streamlines Project Organization and Keeps Teams Aligned

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

Buildr has been a valuable tool for our team and has helped streamline project organization and internal communication. The platform provides clear visibility into project information, documents, and workflows, which makes coordination between departments much more efficient. As a general contractor, having centralized access to up-to-date project data has improved accountability and reduced delays caused by miscommunication. Overall, Buildr has supported smoother project execution and has become a reliable part of our daily operations.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

One area for improvement is that some features are not always immediately intuitive for new users and may require additional training or onboarding time to fully utilize the platform’s capabilities.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Buildr solves the challenge of managing large volumes of project information across multiple teams by providing a centralized platform for project data, documentation, and communication. Instead of relying on scattered emails, spreadsheets, or disconnected systems, Buildr allows our team to access consistent, up-to-date information in one place. This has improved coordination between departments, reduced miscommunication, and increased overall efficiency, allowing us to stay organized and focused on timely project execution.

  ### 9. BUILDR Keeps Our Projects Organized and Teams Aligned from Start to Finish

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brett D. | Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

We’ve had a great experience using BUILDR on our projects. The contacts feature makes it easy to keep our subcontractors, vendors, and team organized in one place, and the commitments tool has been especially helpful for tracking scopes and staying on top of who is responsible for what. It’s a straightforward platform that keeps our jobs organized and our team aligned from start to finish. Overall, BUILDR has been a solid tool for managing our projects.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

While BUILDR has been helpful overall, there are a few areas that could improve. Some workflows take a few extra clicks compared to other platforms, and certain fields aren’t as customizable as we’d like for unique project setups. The mobile experience can feel limited when trying to review or update detailed information in the field. We’ve also noticed that reporting and exports sometimes require manual adjustments after pulling data. Integrations with other software could be more robust to reduce double entry. None of these are deal breakers, but refining usability, customization, and reporting would make the platform even more efficient for day-to-day project management.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BUILDR helps centralize our project information so we’re not chasing emails, spreadsheets, or scattered contact lists. Having all contacts, commitments, and project details in one place makes it easier to stay organized and keep our team aligned. The commitments feature helps us clearly track scopes and responsibilities, which reduces confusion and helps avoid missed items. It also improves communication with subcontractors and vendors because everyone is working from the same information. Overall, BUILDR saves time on coordination, reduces administrative back-and-forth, and gives us better visibility into what’s happening on our jobs so we can manage projects more efficiently.

  ### 10. Perfect Contact Management with Effortless Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fred R. | Director of Corporate Interiors Construction

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

I really enjoy having all the contacts in one place and the ability to sort them between architects, engineers, and developers. I also appreciate being able to create a list of tasks to follow up with clients. Buildr helps by giving us reminders for tasks that are coming up due and helps us keep track of our bids, including our win and loss ratio. The setup was quite easy; all we had to do was log on and go through the tutorial, which made it very easy to start using. Builder just seemed better to put it all together in one place compared to tracking clients in an Excel format and using Teams.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

I do not have any dislikes at this time.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Buildr helps us keep all our contacts categorized and gives reminders for upcoming tasks. It's great for tracking bids and our win-loss ratio, and consolidates everything in one place, unlike when we used Excel and Teams.

  ### 11. Customizable Tool with Strong Support, Needs Better API

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Niki Z.

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

I like that Buildr is pretty customizable, allowing us to add custom fields. I also appreciate that the product team and support team have taken our use cases and suggestions and actually implemented them, which was a huge help. Additionally, the initial setup was pretty easy and straightforward—the import tool works great!

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

I think there are some limited capabilities with the API and we have found that we've had to request for certain things, not every column or data point is retrievable. The reporting capabilities could also be improved - allowing us to make our dashboard customizable or even having charts and graphs. The forecasting tool could also be improved - having to close the prior period isn't necessarily how every GC operates so it is a little difficult when maintaining the forecast and the prime contracts as well.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Buildr helps us manage our pipeline, track won and lost jobs, and provides essential data for financial reporting.

  ### 12. Streamlined Project Management with Buildr

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christian S.

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

I like how easy it is to use. Most of the processes within Buildr make sense from a general contractor perspective. They've done the work to understand how general contractors see things and process information, and have streamlined the workflows so it feels very familiar to me. The customer service team was very helpful and got information uploaded very quickly.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

Sometimes software or items might be released a little bit too early. While they continue to improve and eventually become amazing and really useful, maybe withholding the release of software until it's fully integrated and the best version it could be would be helpful. Having a testing pool of general contractors that gives feedback before things are released to everybody else would help a lot.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Buildr merges processes that are traditionally separated into one place, reducing bad information risks and saving time. It replaced our manual CRM and forecasting, easing the workload.

  ### 13. Convenient All-in-One Project Tracker with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyler A. | Project Manager

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

I like Buildr for its convenience. It's just nice to have all the information in one place. I don't have to go bouncing around, referencing spreadsheets, or contact lists on separate platforms. It's all right there. Ready to go.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

I find it difficult to differentiate between what is considered a task and what is a lead in Buildr. It's a bit of a gray area, especially when it comes to setting up meetings to discuss with potential clients or just maintaining contact. It would be helpful to have a more defined distinction or a completely separate option for just keeping in touch with contacts.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Buildr to track projects, bids, leads, and tasks. It solves the problem of keeping all business development information and context together, providing convenience with everything in one place instead of jumping between spreadsheets and contact lists.

  ### 14. Streamlines Lead Tracking, Simple Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

I like that I can track all of the potential projects that I specifically am working on. I also find it helpful to use the tool that lets me see what projects have had comments within the last thirty days. The initial setup was easy with the videos and the multiple different avenues of assistance that Buildr provides.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

I think it could get notifications to you when you have a project that hadn't had a comment in thirty days.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Buildr to track potential leads and focus efforts on those likely to result in a win.

  ### 15. One Connected Workspace That Streamlines Estimating, Bidding, and Forecasting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter J. | Preconstruction Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

BuildR gives our team one connected workspace for estimating, CRM, forecasting, and reporting, which dramatically reduces the back‑and‑forth we used to deal with across multiple tools. Its features save us real time and help us make better-informed pursuit decisions. The platform feels genuinely built for general contractors, not retrofitted from a generic CRM.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

While powerful, the system is best suited for teams ready to fully adopt its connected workflow, light users won’t get the same value.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hundreds of millions of dollars in pursuits are easily tracked in one, intuitive interface that the entire team can access and provide input on.

  ### 16. Effortless Preconstruction Management with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marc B.

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

I like the integration with Procore and Microsoft 365. It's really helpful not having to switch between different programs. Buildr kind of links everything and mirrors stuff, so I don't have to keep going back and forth between programs. It simplifies things, though you do still use different programs, but it's much more integrated. Also, the initial setup was pretty easy. You just enter your personal and project info, and it more or less does everything for you, making it not difficult at all.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

Nothing really

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Buildr to bring all the moving pieces of preconstruction projects together, like tracking bids, estimates, subs, and contact info. I like its integration with Procore and Microsoft, reducing the need to switch between programs.

  ### 17. Simple to Use, Yet Robust in Capabilities

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott W. | Director of Estimating, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

I like that it’s simple to use, yet still very robust in its capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

There are some restrictions within the Cost Model tool that limit its usefulness, and addressing them could make it much more helpful.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Eventually, we hope that Buildr will become a one-stop shop for preconstruction, combining many software tools into one.

  ### 18. Efficient Bid Management, Slight Navigation Challenges

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex A.

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

I like Buildr's ability to easily sort bids by type, phase, and company. It allows me to track all of our bids, their prices, and status. I also appreciate its compatibility with Procore, which was a key reason for switching to Buildr.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

It can be a bit difficult to navigate the site to find what you want for new users.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Buildr helps me track all bids, their prices, and status. It easily sorts bids by type, phase, and company. However, it can be difficult for new users to navigate the site.

  ### 19. Keeps Projects Reviewable with Clear, Detailed Overviews

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

It keeps all of our projects in a clear, reviewable format, with the details we need for a quick overview of most aspects.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

It could really benefit from some updated features that currently feel missing or lacking. In particular, I’d like to see export functions added for certain charts and reports, since that capability isn’t available right now.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us manage our pipeline efficiently by keeping all our leads and projects in one place and up to date. As a result, we’re less likely to miss any critical deadlines and can stay on top of everything more consistently.

  ### 20. One Place to Track People, Companies, and Projects

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erik T. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

It's one place to track people, companies and projects.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

The reporting feature could be better and more robust.

Tracking contacts between our entire team, who's reached out to whom and when.

  ### 21. All-in-One Preconstruction Platform with a Receptive Product Team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

It's a platform that is all of: Project Tracking, Resource Management, Task Tracking, Financials, etc. Essentially, all of Preconstruction in a single platform. Additionally, their product development team is very receptive to feedback and implementing updates based on feedback. The software is extremely user friendly and intuitive and easy to pick up regardless of technical expertise.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

Nothing so far, it's been a great tool to use.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving having to use multiple platforms and separated information.

Not a lot of downside to Buildr, we always have the ability to change items or how we see things.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking of opportunities

  ### 32. Great for Keeping Everything in One Place, but Needs a Cancelled/Passed Projects Tab

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

keeping everything in one place where data can be reviewed.

It would be helpful to have another tab that showed projects either passed on or cancelled.

  ### 33. Buildr to the rescue!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aaron B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

Using Buildr is a modern more user friendly version of tracking all of the information to closeout a project in excel. As functional as excel is we as engineer minded folks over use it and can complicate the easiest of tasks. I love that Buildr sends notifications to take the hassle out of me tracking all of those emails I send in a separate sheet or notebook. Requirements and warranty issues are trackable for our entire company so everyone knows where items are in the process and who has the ball.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

Buildr is always changing and updating when I have an issue so I don't know what I would say I dislike because when there is something I think should be improved on I bubble it up and typically it gets incorporated. Currently I would say the lack of a moble app for GC's and Subcontractors is the downfall. I would like to be able to report warranty issues from an App or review status of project requirement % complete. Recently many of our clients cant access the website to download the zip file or login to create a client account to see the closeout documents for review so that needs to be addressed.

**Recommendations to others considering Buildr:**

Try it out for free and you wont be disappointed it keeps everything very organized and in a clean easy process for those of us who are very busy (that's all of us). I know closeout is so important to our clients but sometimes project teams get pulled to other areas as needed and Buildr has helped us expedite the process for gathering and compiling documents needed to meet contract requirements.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The one problem that Buildr has solved for us is tracking the status of Warranty items with our clients. Having all the warranty issues in one place for: clients, subs, and us as the GC to see the history of any issue has been a huge time saver and reduced communication issues both internally and externally.

  ### 34. Buildr is a project coordinator's best friend

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martha P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

Buildr has saved me so much time and made the closeout process so much less painful. The integration with Procore is really efficient and uploading documents (either by myself or by the subcontractors) is quick and easy. The final package is well organized and really easy to navigate via the hyperlinked Table of Contents. Also, Buildr is constantly improving their product and listening to what their customers want to see.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

The notification emails from Builder look a little "spammy" so a lot of subs are reluctant to use the upload link.

**Recommendations to others considering Buildr:**

Give it a try. You'll be glad you did.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have saved so much time versus the old way of sending individual emails, collecting paper documents and creating binders. I think the packages that Buildr creates are easier to navigate than a physical binder. It's also saving us money in terms of paper, supplies and postage for sending large binders to our clients.

  ### 35. It was easy and organized

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jack D. | Pre-Construction Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

Close out used to be cumbersome. Buildr lets you have an organized avenue to request, collect, and deliver a clean package. It allows you to have transparency with your team on the status of close out. Its also an easy transfer to the client

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

I think you should be able to transfer the directory from procore. I also thing the cover sheet and delivery package should be customizable.

Also, would like the ability to condense a certain close out requirements into a file.
I.E. - We had over 1 thousand concrete lab testing reports) The lab submitted them on builder. They all showed up on the cover page. It would be cool to be able to combine those into a single file without taking them off buildr and resubmitting.

I think Buildr should create different templates for things other than close out (i.e. RFP Submissions, Requesting other documents). You can customize the way you want it collected.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving the issue of losing documents in emails. Solving the issue of filing and maintaining a giant package. and generating

  ### 36. Keeps closeout organized

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Drew M. | Project Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

It takes a lot of the phone calls and issues transferring large files out of the process.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

Having to enter a trade for each subcontractor

**Recommendations to others considering Buildr:**

A bonus is the warranty tool which lets the building operator notify us of issues that we can forward to the appropriate subcontractor.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saved time and frustration

  ### 37. Super helpful with simplifying the close out process.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

The weekly reminder feature for subcontractors is amazing. I love that it is automatic. It has helped me get close out documents much faster than I normally would be able to. I also like how everything is organized once a project is exported. It's really clean and organized how it's all broken up.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

I think my least favorite feature is the Warranty part. It doesn't seem like subs or owners are eager to use it as a tool of communication for scheduling warranty issues. They prefer to call or email directly.

**Recommendations to others considering Buildr:**

Takes the grunge work out of close out documentation! It hasn't been the most helpful with Warranty claims, but I think that it more of a reflection on subcontractors and owners unwillingness to go through a platform as opposed to directly contacting us through email. It's a work in progress.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Like I mentioned earlier, the biggest problem this has solved me for is the ability to keep track of subcontractors better. When I used to do close outs docs manually it would take closer to 2 or 3 months to collect all the information I needed. Buildr has helped me simplify that process by taking out the reminder work for me.

  ### 38. Close out packages made easy!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie P. | Project Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2021

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

Buildr has significantly cut my time spent on close outs allowing me to spend more time on other responsibilities for the many hats I wear with my company. I appreciate the thought and detail put into this program and the ease of use for clients and vendors.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

I wish there were more color variation within the pages so "buttons" are more easily seen/distinguishable.

**Recommendations to others considering Buildr:**

If you're looking for a way to easy the pain of creating close out packages, Buildr is what you're looking for!

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sending a request used to be cumbersome - this has streamlined that process and is a very simple process for vendors to upload their documents.

  ### 39. Makes Closeout Super Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert H. | Assistant Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

The interface is very user friendly and easy to learn. It keep everything organized for us and our subcontractors. No more missing items from our subcontractors.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

There isn't something that I dislike but if I had to pick something I wish there was an activity log for each specific item. Keeping updates on each specific item would be a great way to track when these items will be submitted.

**Recommendations to others considering Buildr:**

If you are looking to simplify your closeout process this is definitely something you should consider.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

An issue that I had was keeping track of which subcontractor submitted what via email. Using buildr helped organize everything.

  ### 40. Best Closeout Program

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer R. | Principle Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

The fact that it's integrated with Procore is a real plus. We use this program everyday and it's literally checking boxes of what data to sync! I love that the program is easy to use for both creators and the end users.

The QRCode is great too to send to end users who can pull it up on their mobile devices.
And I love how consistent the product is.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

Would like to have some customization within the program for the Logo on the cover page.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saving time and having a consistent, professional looking product at the end. Our old process was clunky, not consistent from user to user and created a huge document that was unwieldy.

I love having the dashboard to see which subs have submitted docs or not. no more digging through emails, project folders etc.

I know this product will be a HUGE benefit for our larger projects, once we get them on board.

  ### 41. Organized Warranty - Streamlined O&M

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meghan K. | Internal Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2020

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

I personally use Buildr most for the O&M functionality - It has automated our collection process, eliminating many busy work hours from my team, allowing us to focus more carefully on final project execution. The assembly of the O&M is a single click, which eliminated a position for us - so long as our clients are ok with the electronic O&M only.

I do not use warranty frequently, but I appreciate it being a single landing point to list issues, and for my teammates and I to note progress on getting them closed out.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

It was different for us to structure the O&M by category, rather by trade, but we believe the end using is just fine using it this way. We can't wait for app updated to happen, we like the availability of the app, but Buildr is still easier for us to use online.
I also dislike that I didn't use this 3 years ago!

**Recommendations to others considering Buildr:**

Implementation is quick - you could be up and running next day.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are taking hours of time off our people, with the electronic O&M process offered by Buildr.
We are also eliminating off line spread sheets and manila folders laying around with warranty to do items listed.

  ### 42. Methodical, User Friendly and Exquisite Turnover Package and Warranty Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Traci S. | Assistant Administrative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2020

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

Buildr streamlined and standardized our closeout procedures. It has made it easier to manage any and all warranty requests across all completed projects.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

I dislike that I didn't have Buildr when I was doing closeouts, it would have saved countless hours and headaches!

**Recommendations to others considering Buildr:**

Close out packages are never fun. They are tedious, time consuming, and difficult to compile in a way that is easily accessible for owner, clients, and maintenance staff. Buildr creates a close out package that is much easier for users to find the document that they need, within a few clicks the user will be able to pull up an O&M, As-Built, Warranty Document, etc.. No more printing hundreds or thousands of pages, no more heavy 4" binders being passed around, no more excel spreadsheets to track what documents you've received or missing, no more negative connotation when you hear the word 'close out package'. Buildr is the leader of changing the way our industry does close outs. Your project teams and owner/clients will thank you for adopting their platform.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Buildr is saving project teams hundreds of hours by organizing the documents to create a professional turnover package. The turnover package is very aesthetically appealing, but more importantly, very user-friendly for the owner, clients, and maintenance personnel.

Buildr is also assisting in standardizing how our company completes and submits close out packages. Their user-friendly interface allows project teams to quickly learn how setup, request, and generate a finalized close out package.

Warranty requests are easily managed in Buildr. Project teams are able to assign and track the progress of a warranty request within Buildr. It reduces the possibility of requests getting lost in emails or forgotten about as project teams have already moved on to other projects. Project teams are able to quickly check the status or update of a warranty request and also receive weekly digest emails to gently remind them of open items.

  ### 43. Buildr Changes the Closeout Game

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krystal N. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

It is so much easier to see exactly where we are in the process of collecting closeout documents with Buildr. No more tedious excel spreadsheets to track progress.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

I haven't found a feature yet that I don't like. However, the price seemed a bit high for the number of projects we will use it for this year. I could see the value in it, and was able to convince my Executives of the value. But, it is a bit pricey.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a huge timesaver that Buildr sends the reminders to our contractors rather than our project assistants having to send numerous emails. Our most recent project required 6 weekly reminder emails to 47 subcontractors. Too, being able to see exactly which O&M's or warranties are still outstanding without flipping through pages of excel documents. When my project manager asks "where do we stand with O&Ms" I can give him an accurate answer within a minute!

  ### 44. Buildr has transformed our close-out process!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris S. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

Buildr has increased the response time for collecting documentation from our subs by 500%+. Instead of waiting weeks for subs to gather documents, upload them to a file sharing service, we get them in hours. The new process has also eliminated manual tracking in spreadsheets, accounting and project team disconnect on compliance and overall headaches.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

It would be great for the communication to our subcontractors to be more customized/styled, but it at least gets the message across.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Timely close-out of projects and final payment to subcontractors. Instead of coordinator being the middle person, the project team can handle close-out on their own.

  ### 45. Makes Close Outs Stress Free

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex M. | Project Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

I like that I can set this up and let the website do all of the heavy lifting of sending reminder emails and organizing. This is something I am recommending to everyone. Even the end users/clients have complimented how easy it is to use.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

I dislike that this is not industry standard.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem this is helping with is managing time. Buildr now allows more time for me to focus on active projects without worrying about following up with 20 subcontractors to make sure they have submitted the close-outs.

  ### 46. Buildr Makes the Closeout Process Easier and SAVES TIME

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben S. | Construction Technologist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

Builder does the tracking and follow ups for you so you can spend time doing other things. Also if you're using Procore, it makes Buildr very quick to set up.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

If you're not using Procore, it takes a bit more time to set everything up.

**Recommendations to others considering Buildr:**

If you use Procore, then Buildr is a no brainer to make closeout easier.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We spent too much time and effort tracking down closeout documents from subcontractors. With Buildr doing that work for us, we can focus our efforts on other tasks.

  ### 47. Agile software that improves closeout/warranty experience for each party

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Calleigh K. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

The simplicity, accessibility, and controls in the system have drastically improved the closeout process for us, the General Contractor and our Subcontractors. It has saved us a lot of time at each stop from building the closeout requirements, requesting, reviewing, and creating a consistent, well built final product for our clients. The reporting function creates clear communication and clarity regarding the status of items. The warranty system has improved communication and collaboration on warranty items in a shared location. The warranty reporting statistics have helped drive training and supported new best practices.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

It's a young system that continues to learn and add new features. The good news is their customer service is fantastic. Their goals is to listen to the end user and create a system that works.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time! What used to take hours now takes minutes. Automatic reminders for document requests alleviates the need to track and remind on open items. Our clients really like the delivery at the end and the accessibility to all project documents.

  ### 48. The EASY button for managing the closeout & warranty process!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nichole C. | Corporate Services - Implementation & Adoption Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2020

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

BUILDR helps us streamline the closeout/warranty process by making it user friendly for all parties! Typically Trade Partners resist using new GC owned platforms but with BUILDR, the process is so simplified that we've received very little push back on our usage. The integration with Procore streamlines the spec, submittal requirements and directory import; whereas the "sync" button allows us to source our As-Build drawing package and RFI, photos, submittals archives for the Owners use in the future. The best part, it packages all of these items with a click of one button and produces a fully hyper-linked package that we are proud to provide our clients.

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

As the Construction Technology Implementation & Adoption Manager at Big-D Construction, I dislike the fact that BUILDR is so great that it was VERY hard for us to keep our deployment of the tool to just a couple of projects; so that we had time to create our standard operating procedures. In under five months, we've already run 40+ jobs through the closeout phase. It is by far one of the easiest tools I've been tasked to sell to our staff, simply because it makes this process so much easier.

**Recommendations to others considering Buildr:**

BUY IT! It's money well spent!

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to provide a consistent, high quality closeout package that doesn't vary from project to project to our repeat clients and we are able to control that with our use of BUILDR.
We wanted to streamline the collection of our closeout items and we are seeing a ton of time savings with our use of BUILDR.
Lastly, we wanted to make the warranty submittal and management process more user friendly and it simply couldn't be any easier with our use of BUILDR.

  ### 49. Buildr has revolutionized the closeout process across the construction industry

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe M. | Business Services Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

Procore integration and ease of use vital

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

Procore syncs need not be all or nothing

**Recommendations to others considering Buildr:**

For anyone thinking about considering Buildr, when it comes to construction close out, they are the market leader!

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creation of centralized tracking center for closeout has saved countless hours. Being able to create organizational transparency by tracking both operational close out materials as well as financial closeout data in one location is monumental.

  ### 50. Buildr... Closeout as you go!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike J. | Construction Technology Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Buildr?**

The ability to be compiling an active closeout documentation package for our teams using Buildr has been absolutely stellar. Each team is blown away by the ease of use, but mostly the countless hours reduced for creating project closeouts. Typically, it can take anywhere from a week to a few months of hunting down information and formatting it into an easily consumable format for the customer, but with Buildr, that process is down to a matter of hours. The end product is a beautifully linked document that takes no training for our clients to use. We are now using Buildr on all of our projects moving forward and we thank Caleb and his team for the continued direct support!

**What do you dislike about Buildr?**

We had wished there was a way to segment out certain modules for export (in case a client only wanted to see RFIs. etc). The team over at Buildr heard our wish, and the techno-genies over there granted it within a week of discussion! The communication with their team has been absolutely stellar and their customer service is second to none.

**What problems is Buildr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently, we are using Buildr mainly for project closeout and submittal collection, though we are now testing the warranty function with great results. Having an online portal for the client to submit warranty claims for review and for us to keep them updated is a much more streamlined direction that keeping a local database per project.
