The search feature is not always helpful. There have been times when subcontractors do now show up in an area, despite being in the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

some of the reporting is not accurate but that is primarily due to over all particiapation of subs, GC , and vendors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Building Connected is a great program I am disappointed that we didn't start using it sooner. Superuser friendly and keeps me much more organized than I was before. It allows us to bid on jobs that we may not have had access to otherwise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Seriously no complaints. We had absolutely no experience with this platform and when I hopped on I was using it in minutes with no difficulties. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like this because it organizes and manages your bidders list, giving you flexibility to duplicate lists, and pull data from other bids. Saves time, versus having to enter the contacts over and over again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm not so crazy about the lack of information I can provide when entering each subs' profile. Would like more access to info fields prior to the sub accepting an invite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's easy to get a snapshot of where you are in the bidding process. In a few clicks you can understand how many bidders you have for a particular package, interest in packages, and submitted bids. It's very easy to upload and distribute additional content to bidders that they need to incorporate into their bid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes BuildingConnect sends out too many automated emails. For example, if you are in charge of the architectural packages that are out to bid, your email inbox might still get blown up by correspondence that has to do with structural, civil, or MEP packages. Project invitations from multiple general contractors are all in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is limited functionality in the free version (That is to be expected) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
BuildingConnected allows you to organize bids in effective and easy manner. You can add drawings, specs, and documents without problems. You can also search for subcontractors to add to your scopes. Not only can you search subcontractors but their employees and their titles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Each individual person has to have their own log in. While this can be nice, having one log in for an estimated department could be easier to share/ take over work. Could improve the email function. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A decent website with a way to view plans, upload bids and acquire job information all in one place Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really don't love uploading my quotes to the website but I think most people are after that these days. I'd prefer to just send it out at one time in an email Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
