some of the reporting is not accurate but that is primarily due to over all particiapation of subs, GC , and vendors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

All the stakeholders ate not on the same platform and interoperability become concerns which needs more attention. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I enjoy its reach and ability to cultivate a subcontractor base. It's easy to assemble bid packages and solicit bids from a wide range of subs. It's helpful to have a single platform in which to contact our subs on and takes a lot of the chance out of emails or other platform's communication not being delivered or seen in time. Some of the contact management tools are still super clunky. Bidders are able to be tagged internally, but tracking or sorting them by those metrics is often unreliable. It is also unfortunate that as the GC, we're unable to make any changes or suggested changes to the bidders profiles. Subs should, of course, be able to manage their own accounts, but we have no ability on our end to change the contact emails, or add a contact to an existing company profile. We are at the whims of the Building Connected team to manually make the updates or recommendations that we suggest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's one convenient site where I'm able to get addendums, documents, bidding details, ask questions, etc. One source of all information, that also allows me to track my pursuits--which ones I've one and lost, when to follow up, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike the fact that it allows the bidders to bid multiple items all at once, without bothering to separate any information or make any sort of distinction between trades and professional services. I'm sure it's more convenient for THEM to just throw all documents up there without any sort of RFP, and let the bidders sort through and figure out what is needed, but it is frustrating from the bidding end.
Also, there is often not a rhyme or reason as to which of our company contacts receives the invite on BuildingConnected. Despite the fact that I am the main contact for our company, there have still been occasions where I did not receive the invite, and was locked out of project bidding. It's perfect for managing everything for our bids and centralizing access for bidders and subcontractors: drawings, specifications, and addendum files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Occasionally, I wish that we could make changes to some of the information on behalf of subcontractors because they apparently think that we manage the directory. It's probably for the best that we can't just because of the administrative burden. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Building connected was a great software to invite and connect with subcontractors and clients about new projects . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not a BuildingConnected issue but a lot of subcontractors would submit proposals directly to the estimators email not through the system. While this is ok and you can manually enter them in the system, it becomes tedious on multiple jobs with hundreds of subs. BC also have a data reporting that pulls from those subs sending the number through the system so those number can be skewed when doing it this way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be easier to answer what I don't like. Uploading data was easy, creating bid invite templates was easy, sending out invites was easy, you can customize bid forms by trade/bid package, and best of all the bid leveling is briliiant! Of course you can also make notes on a record when following up with bidding vendors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like how we aren't able to control the data. For example, if I know a contact is no longer with the vendor and have received the new contact, I can't do a thing! I have to notify BuildingConnected to update the record. Meanwhile, I have to make a note to remember on the next bid invite to send things to the new contact because BuildingConnected controls the data rather than letting us correct the contacts or company address, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This program is fantastic for tendering a scope of work and finding trades that will give you a quote. Very easy to use and set up. You can include company's that are on building connect or even invite your preferred trades that are not on building connect. Communication and adjustment to the tender package are straightforward, and there is no need to send an email to each contractor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have not found a downfall yet on this program, and I am pleased with what it does for me at the moment. Not too sure how much it costs to run and get each person access to the program, but it's awesome to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Building Connected has given us the ability to connect with companies we may not know of. We have received and chosen bids from some of these companies which has made our bids more competitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can be difficult to remove unwanted emails. We are a GC but also did flooring subcontract work for a time. Even though we have changed our account information, we continue to receive unwanted flooring emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is not much to dislike. The product does what it is supposed to perform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This site has the unique feature of coordinating with multiple office locations within the same company profile. It's easy to share projects across teams and alert them of any updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No dislikes. This platform performs well, and we haven't had any issues with it thus far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
