Services that scan firmware images are often labelled pejoratively as grep-as-a-service. BugProve is more than that :) Next to the baseline functionality like finding the CVE entries of software component versions that are present in the firmware, it comes with some really cool and unique features. The built-in PRIS code analysis engine that is able to disassemble executables and identify security issues is a game changer. This tool can be used remotelly. We have to use our final product software for analysis, no intermediate build stages should be used. Our software can be seen as our customers see it.

The interface is very intuitive and it is a great point to start any kind of IoT security engagement. On top of finding known vulnerabilities for binaries, it also uses its own PRIS search engine to detect vulnerabilities, which would be bypassed by regular analysers.
