I like that you can schedule content to be sent out and even if you don't have time- you can still plan out and make your life easier Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike that you can't tag anyone in posts and have it post automatically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Buffer dashboard is neat and clean. You will only see a queue of social media posts which you've queued to review or more appropriately which are scheduled to be reviewed. The dashboard is really attractive and organized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are limitations. Buffer is picky about what video files it takes. We have a lot of posts where we want to use Facebook tools (handshake tool, check-in tool, feelings tool) which you can't do with Buffer. You also can't tag other pages which is a huge drawback for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ability to schedule out - ahead, in advance - image-heavy social media updates made my life at work 100% easier for my 4-year long tenure at a professional services firm. Campaigns became themed by week or holiday, contained quotes, images, calls to action - included multiple posts in a single day - and involved twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. At some point, an API configuration changed and I was no longer able to post to our company's LinkedIn profile through the platform; which was a bummer. That one social site became the only manual update I made. ON the flip side, I reviewed and replied to comments and monitored the likes we received, but it was sooooo hard to do all at one time (create, post, engage). Buffer closed the gap and made my social marketing worthwhile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It was easy to forget to go back onto the pages themselves to check how the audiences were reacting; I'm embarrassed to say it was about a week before I noticed the likes and potential comments I'd still need to tend to... luckily, no harm done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I appreciate the simplicity of the interface - it makes it easy to quickly draft and schedule posts across multiple channels at once, and to get a holistic view of what you have scheduled so you can fill in gaps accordingly. I also like the custom shortening/tagging of URLs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Buffer is very reliable for Facebook and Twitter, it can be less so for Instagram and LinkedIn. It can be difficult to schedule video posts for Instagram (sometimes an issue, sometimes not) and I've regularly lost the connection to LinkedIn and had to re-authenticate. Some of this may fall on the platforms themselves, but it's still frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Buffer is a tool for social network management, very easy and simple to use, in one hour you can have everything configured and ready to use, you can connect all your social networks and schedule up to 10 daily publications in its free version, which I think great because sometimes you can forget to publish with Buffer prevent this from happening, plus you can publish the same content on several networks at the same time which makes the job much easier and even allows you to take several customers because you can organize the work better. There is really nothing that I dislike about Buffer, it is a very powerful tool or software and easy to use, it allows you to manage all social networks from a single tool which makes it my favorite when it comes to work allowing me to go further in the digital world. Once it is set up, it's pretty easy to use. You can select dates in advance which I like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes by SM accounts "disconnect" with no warning or reason, and I have to resubmit them -- this seems to be an issue only with Instagram right now, but I wish they would fix it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Buffer has really been helpful in scheduling posts and contents on customers Social Media platform, it has drastically helped us increase engagement and drive more leads . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Buffer does not allow scheduling for story posts this makes it slightly difficult for us to completely automate our services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that I can customize the time slots or leave it to their experts if I'd like. It's nice to pre-schedule different social media posts on all platforms ahead of time so I can knock it off my to-do list and not worry about trying to remember to post on social media every single day. It also helps my plan an overall direction of social media posting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes it will disconnect the social media accounts and you'll have to reconnect them, but if that's the worst thing then we're all good. I use the free version so I can only connect a certain amount of accounts, but it's fine because my company only has a few. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This software is easy to use for beginners. Provides customization options, making it easier for you to get used to the application. If you have an Instagram account, it allows you to send mail directly to Instagram and has an emoji keyboard and geotagging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
He doesn't do everything I want him to do, but unfortunately I don't have another social media management tool to do. If you are unfamiliar with the software, you may accidentally submit it. You can send all channels from a single location, but you cannot edit or remove them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Buffer is a simple, beautiful, and easy to use social media management software. It's great for those with a smaller budget and just starting out or those who don't like working with technology. I love how Buffer integrations with so many different platforms and the Chrome extension are beyond easy to use and make it simple and quick to collect content for your queue. Overall, you should be able to get it up and running in an hour or less with little effort and you will love the setup and ease of everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The pricing structure is a bit all over the place and I hate how they have broken up the different platforms that you really need as an all in one option. For instance, in order to respond to your audience, you would need to use a separate software called Buffer Analyze and it has its own fee in addition to what you for Buffer. Buffer has a free option but you can only connect 3 accounts and you can only schedule 10 posts per account. That can get to be time-consuming and eventually with growth you'll need to upgrade, but the good news is that they have a $15 plan that is great for the next step up.
