There are lots of things I like about the software, for example, it is easy to review financial statements espercially tracking expenses and variance report. it is good for organizations that track employee efforts on various programs. it easy to import track your budget versus actual. I do not dislike it, I think the sofware is amazing. I just wish there was more vidoes on how to tract indirect cost. The good thing is, they have a great team that is always willing to help when you need it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Feature rich. The cloud-based user-friendly interface integrates easily, streamlines implementation and training, and makes for easy input and tracking of expenses, shows detail of prior years, while the reporting tools provide valuable insights into my financial situation. The ability to customize and create forecasts is instrumental in helping us stay on track with financial goals. Overall, Budgyt has improved our budgeting process, reduced labor costs, and helps to avoid keying errors. I highly recommend Budgyt software to anyone looking for an effective budgeting solution. How dynamic it is. It has a lot of features that accountants will find helpful. The creator/owner is extremely knowlegeable and was always available to help when we had problems. Great product, well thought out, flexible, fast, and the support and training is very good and personal, including all of the available videos on various topics that are easy to digest. The best feature of all isn't a feature so much as its foundation: you can create multiple scenarios so easily on one set of base data and combine actuals with future budget figures to create projections easily. Some of the reporting isn't as 'pretty' or presentable in PDF form as I might like for non-financial audience. Would love more customization for cash flow report to conform for how we like to present it or break out various GL codes into their own bucket. Budgyt accomplishes this by offering the largest number of sub-tiers of any budget SAAS out there, unlimited line-items under each lowest level account category, and line-item notes for expense/income justification. After years of using Budgyt, I still struggle with using the built-in equation builders. They are highly customizable, which is great, but they don't always seem to follow traditional math logic. I've resorted to running the few calculations I need to do externally and linking a spreadsheet to a Budgyt line item, which works fine for me and is a small price to pay for the level of detailed planning Budgyt facilitates. The Budgyt platform has made my budgeting process so much easier. Being able to move away from using multiple, linked Excel spreadsheets has been great. The version control is great. Being able to create and present several different models is great. The employee module and the formulas modules are excellent. The customer service is also exceptional. As a Financial Controller I depend on Budgyt for my monthly variance analysis and can easily drill down to understand the reasons for variances versus the budget. It integrates beautifully with QuickBooks, down to the transaction level. Non-accounting users can see the same information and can manage their budgets more effectively.
