## Buddy Reviews
  ### 1. Powerful Pipelines Without DevOps Complexity

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sanjaya S. | Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Buddy?**

From the very beginning, Buddy distinguishes itself with its clean and intuitive interface, which is something users especially comment on. The visual pipeline builder is so intuitive, in fact, that, again assuming no experience with automating deployment workflows, it’s very much like using a drag-and-drop tool rather than complex automation scripting.

**What do you dislike about Buddy?**

Although Buddy does offer a free tier, reviewers caution that it can be limiting in terms of build minutes and concurrencies, making it less ideal for use by hobbyists or organizations trying to start off without a cost

**What problems is Buddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before tools like Buddy, the process of deploying code involved tasks like manually copying files, writing scripts, or remembering a set of steps whenever you wished to deploy code.

Buddy solves this by providing automated pipelines that run on every commit, push, or merge, thus ensuring a consistent deployment without any human error.

  ### 2. User-Friendly Tool That Streamlines Collaboration and Keeps Work Organized

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raza R. | Digital Marketing Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Buddy?**

It’s user friendly and helps improve overall efficiency by streamlining collaborations and keeping everything organized

**What do you dislike about Buddy?**

There isn’t anything I dislike but I would suggest a better more easier navigation maybe.

**What problems is Buddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest I would say tracking progress of tasks because of different time zones among the team, communication is not very active and have to chase for updates. I was very happy that I can track progress straight away

  ### 3. Rock-Solid Reliability for Years-Long Pipelines

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Buddy?**

The reliability. We have pipelines that have run, without fault, for over 5 years. I don't think some competitors have gone 5 days.

**What do you dislike about Buddy?**

I just wish we had more parallel instances.

**What problems is Buddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We went from every developer having different deployment routes, to single unified pipelines that handle all testing, packaging, deployment, setup, smoke tests, and reporting. All in a UI anyone on the team can use.

  ### 4. Buddy works best CI/CD solution today 2025

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sinai R. | DevOps, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Buddy?**

Easy to use
Clear UX/UI
Covers as 90+ % of basic daily missions for DevOps or Developer
Integration for most of bigger providers as GCP, AWS, Azure, Heroku, Shopify etc.
Fast response rate from support.
Very Rare downtimes. Mostly coming from providers and not from Buddy itself.
Terraform provider for easy manage GitOps for Projects and Pipelines.
Caching Docker and repos for fast depoyments.

**What do you dislike about Buddy?**

Missing few jobs monitors like machine monitor,
Pipeline can be killed by OOM and its not so clear. But still it will be Server error, that you can understand an issue coming from.

**What problems is Buddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Switching to Buddy.works three years ago felt like a massive weight lifted.
This SaaS solution has completely revolutionized our CI/CD, proving far superior to our previous self-managed Jenkins setup.

Here's why we're so impressed:

Unmatched Ease of Use: Buddy.works' intuitive interface means developers of all experience levels can quickly build and manage pipelines. Onboarding new team members takes minutes, not days, and visual debugging makes troubleshooting a breeze.

Zero Infrastructure Overhead: As a SaaS platform, Buddy.works handles all the server maintenance, scaling, and high availability. We no longer worry about provisioning, patching, or securing infrastructure, freeing up valuable engineering time.

Powerful Features, Simplified Configuration: Despite its user-friendly GUI, Buddy.works offers robust features. Its extensive library of pre-built actions for popular services (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) accelerates pipeline creation. We benefit from smart caching for faster builds and easy parallelization, all configurable with or without YAML.

Seamless Integrations: Buddy.works integrates effortlessly with our existing tools, from Git providers like GitHub and GitLab to various cloud platforms.

Focus on Development, Not Maintenance: The biggest win is the ability to shift our focus from managing CI/CD infrastructure to developing features and innovating. This has led to faster release cycles and higher-quality software.

Predictable Cost: Unlike the hidden costs of self-managed Jenkins, Buddy.works offers transparent, usage-based pricing. We only pay for what we use, without the added expenses of server maintenance or dedicated DevOps staff for the CI/CD system itself.

Before Buddy.works, Jenkins was our workhorse.
While powerful and highly customizable, it came with a hidden cost: the immense overhead of management and maintenance.
We quickly realized that "free" open-source software like Jenkins often isn't truly free when you factor in the engineering hours spent on:

Infrastructure Management: Provisioning and maintaining servers, ensuring adequate compute resources, managing disk space, and dealing with network configurations. Scaling Jenkins for growing teams and projects was a constant battle, requiring dedicated DevOps expertise.

Plugin Hell: Jenkins' extensibility relies heavily on a vast ecosystem of plugins. While offering flexibility, this also meant:

Compatibility Issues: Plugin conflicts were a nightmare, often breaking existing pipelines after an update.

Security Vulnerabilities: Keeping track of security advisories for hundreds of plugins and patching them promptly was a continuous and critical task.

Maintenance: Plugins require updates, configuration, and troubleshooting, adding a significant layer of administrative burden.

Complex Configuration: Writing and maintaining Groovy-based Jenkinsfiles for complex pipelines was often a steep learning curve for developers, leading to bottlenecks and requiring specialized knowledge. The UI, while functional, felt dated and could be clunky for new users.

Security Responsibility: The entire security posture, from server hardening to access control, rested solely on our shoulders. This was a significant responsibility, requiring ongoing vigilance and expertise.

Buddy.works has empowered our team with faster, more reliable, and less stressful software delivery, fostering a truly efficient DevOps culture.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Buddy?**

I love the ui of Buddy. As someone who's never setup automated pipelines before, the UI was much more approachable than the other options I tried. Being very new to this, the trial period was very helpful to be able to try out lots of different implementations and figure out how I wanted it set up without incurring any extra costs.

**What do you dislike about Buddy?**

The docs are helpful and discuss a lot of different use cases for Buddy, although I do wish there was some examples that went through some best practices for individual devs or smaller teams with minimal experience setting up CI/CD or other pipelines.

**What problems is Buddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work with a small team and also have personal projects that I develop on the side. I wanted to setup automated testing and deployments for our team in order to cut down on launch time and mistakes. Using Buddy made it so simple to get up and running. The ui is beautiful and extremely intuitive and honestly a joy to use.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon B. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Buddy?**

I have been using Azure DevOps and Octopus deploy for the past 5 years, and we have recently moved to Buddy. I was blown away at how easy it is to set up deployment scripts and running the job from beginning to end. It can even be done by a non-technical person, giving very little training.

**What do you dislike about Buddy?**

Adding users to the team was difficult if the user doesnt have an account already. The process is broken and needs to be fixed. It will send an email with a signup link which will display as "link expired" even if its 30 seconds after receiving it. The fix was that the user had to initially set up their own account first, log into it, then click on the link in the email to be added to the team.

**What problems is Buddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simplifying the deployment process, as well as speeding it up signifiantly.

  ### 11. Buddy Works is an exceptional platform for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)

The best of buddy is the simplicity about creating pipelines. The UI is very intuitive and easy to implement even for me, not a devops developer. I created a new flow today in less then 30 minutes.

**What do you dislike about Buddy?**

I don't have anything I dislike, maybe because my use is very simple. Maybe that it was easier to retry reruns when it fails the first time.

**What problems is Buddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes deployment to the server way easier and faster. It saves me 15 minutes everytime a new commit to the main branch is made, I can't remember the last time I opened Filezilla.

  ### 16. Buddy automation platform facilitate robust deployments & improved MTTR after EC2 & Lambda execution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rajesh E. | DevOps Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Buddy?**

Buddy platform supports IaC automation approaches to deploy our infrastructure via CloudFormation & Terraform scripts.

It offers exceptional integrations with third party tools to handle our version control, notifications & RCA tracking procurements.

All repetitive & error prone tasks can be effectively automated in its platform which contributes greatly towards our cost savings.

**What do you dislike about Buddy?**

Learning curve is quite steep since we need to understand how we can design efficient deployments via its pipeline features.

It also requires additional effort to maintain the custom actions defined in its automation platform.

Apart form these limitations, Buddy platform is splendid for our AWS infrastructure deployments to carry out EC2 server builds and Lambda functions.

**What problems is Buddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our deployments are carried out much faster in Buddy, since its based on changeset evaluation approach. The first deployment alone is carried out from the scratch & successive changes doesn't involve recreation of resources.

Its pipeline caching feature effectively reduces the build time for each execution since all dependencies can be reused in later runs.

We can maintain excellent code quality since we catch any issues early in the development cycle itself.

Since its a cloud-based platform, scalability is managed by its cloud provider & we can manage increased workloads even during peak hours without needing any manual intervention.

With its automation features, we notice a significant improvement in the MTTR (Mean Time To Repair) after carrying out recursive deployments & new enhancements in our EC2 and Lamda services.

Great support on Buddy side, quick responses when facing some issues. Easy to use and up-to-date UI, many pre-built pipeline actions that can be used.

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Buddy?**

I can especially recommend Buddy for WordPress deployment or any other smaller-scaled projects.

**What do you dislike about Buddy?**

You can use it in the Free tier, but when working as part of a larger-scaled team, you will definitely need to subscribe, and their costs are relatively much higher than with their competitors. However, I think that there aren't that many tools with such ease of use, so it could be well worth the current pricing.

**What problems is Buddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deployment-related issues, CI/CD integration and eradicating the stress regarding manual deployment processes.

  ### 22. After years of manual deploys we finally found an easy tool to deploy without errors

Sometimes it made me hard to see the full name of project when it's so long, i think tooltip when hover to it maybe an option.

  ### 26. How Buddy make my life easier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin Rupert B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Buddy?**

Well, there are many helpful things about Buddy that make it a great choice for developers. But if I had to pick one thing that stands out the most, I would say that Buddy's powerful automation features are the most helpful.

Buddy allows developers to automate many time-consuming and repetitive tasks, which frees up their time to focus on more important things like writing code and building new features. This is especially helpful for teams that work on complex projects that require a lot of automation.

Buddy's automation features are highly flexible and can be customized to fit the needs of different development workflows. The platform supports a wide range of programming languages and frameworks, and offers many deployment options, so teams can choose the best approach for their specific needs.

In addition to its automation features, Buddy's integration capabilities are also very helpful. The platform supports many popular integrations, including GitHub, AWS, and Docker, making it easy for teams to build custom workflows that incorporate their existing tools and services.

Overall, I think that Buddy's automation and integration features are what make it such a helpful tool for developers. The platform allows teams to work more efficiently, be more productive, and ultimately build better software.

**What do you dislike about Buddy?**

While Buddy has many useful features, there are a few downsides to using the platform that I should mention.

One potential downside of Buddy is that it can be a bit expensive, particularly for small teams or individual developers. The platform's pricing plans can be a bit steep, which may make it difficult for some teams to justify the cost.

Another potential downside of using Buddy is that the platform's user interface can be a bit overwhelming at times, particularly for users who are new to automation tools. While the drag-and-drop interface is generally intuitive and user-friendly, it can be a bit complex for more advanced workflows, which may make it challenging for some users.

Finally, some users have reported occasional issues with Buddy's stability and performance. While these issues are relatively rare, they can be frustrating when they do occur, particularly if they cause delays or downtime for development teams.

Overall, while Buddy has many useful features, it's important to weigh the potential downsides against the benefits of using the platform. For some teams, the cost and complexity of Buddy may be outweighed by the platform's powerful automation and integration features, while for others, a simpler or more cost-effective solution may be a better fit.

**What problems is Buddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the biggest problems that Buddy is helping to solve is the challenge of automating complex development workflows. As a developer, I often spend a lot of time on repetitive tasks like testing, building, and deploying code. Buddy's automation features help me to automate these tasks, which saves me time and allows me to focus on more important things like writing code and building new features.

Another problem that Buddy is helping to solve is the challenge of integrating different tools and services. As a developer, I use a lot of different tools and services to manage my development workflows, and keeping everything in sync can be a challenge. Buddy's seamless integrations with popular tools like GitHub, AWS, and Docker help me to build custom workflows that incorporate my existing tools and services. This makes it easier for me to manage and maintain different systems, and helps to improve collaboration and communication across development teams.

  ### 27. Easy to use CI and deployment tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Timo B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Buddy?**

I quite like the GUI of Buddy, the ease of creating a deployment or CI pipeline and the way it helps to generate a YAML file for storage of the pipelines.
The integration with other repositories like Github is also easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Buddy?**

They sometimes run their maintenance windows during our office hours.

**What problems is Buddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a separate tool for deployment from our repository tool is helpful for us. We use GitHub, But we don't want to depend on GitHub Actions. Buddy helps us separating our deployment tooling from our Git storage tooling.

  ### 28. Buddy works is a valuable tool that any development team should have

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick L. | Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Buddy?**

Buddy is a powerful DevOps solution that streamlines and automates the software development and deployment process. Its automation capabilities, such as automatic server updates, save valuable time and resources. The notification feature also ensures that the entire tech team is informed and on the same page, further improving collaboration and efficiency. Buddy Works is a valuable tool that any development team should consider incorporating into their workflow.

**What do you dislike about Buddy?**

Honestly, I can't think of any downsides of buddy except for the UI. The UI and navigation are not so user-friendly, and the first time I used Buddy, I had a hard time finding what I was looking for.

**What problems is Buddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Buddy is solving several problems like the manual and time-consuming task of updating the server by automating it reduces the need for manual intervention. The notification is also very helpful in ensuring that the whole team is on the same page. It also streamlines our deployment process

  ### 29. Great deployment system

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Buddy?**

The best thing about Buddy is the ability to customize everything and automate everything in our deployments.

**What do you dislike about Buddy?**

Buddy has a difficult learning curve but overall I really like the system

**What problems is Buddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automating deployments, clearing caches and sending notifications when deployments are complete

  ### 30. Clean solution for deploying apps

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ben D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Buddy?**

Deploying apps with buddy has been incredibly useful from deployment to running test pipelines.

**What do you dislike about Buddy?**

I dont have many grips with Buddy but one thing I would like is a search feature for settings Buddy can do.

**What problems is Buddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have many apps and budddy makes it easy to track deployments saving us time

  ### 31. Great CI tool for developers with minimal devops experience. Super fast builds! Great tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonas S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Buddy?**

The speed of building & all the provided tools

**What do you dislike about Buddy?**

There is nothing I dislike about buddy currenctly.

**What problems is Buddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick builds to dev en production environments

  ### 32. Buddy's responsive, space-age CI UI cuts down on time spent configuring tedious ops tasks.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Buddy?**

The flexibility of Buddy is what I like the most - you can configure or customize pretty much anything you need for your workflow.

**What do you dislike about Buddy?**

Its relatively new, so docs and community is relatively light. Would love to see more examples for API use. I can see they're working on it.

**What problems is Buddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Buddy helps us quickly scaffold new projects and pipelines, much faster than SSH'ing into a box and doing it all via cli, or spending all day configuring disconnected micro-services.

  ### 33. It's true. The easiest CI/CD I have ever used

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sunil S. | Software Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Buddy?**

I was looking to move from my previous solution of using Bitbucket Pipelines and Gitlab CI/CD for various projects I work on. Having a UI to work with rather than using YAML files puts my mind at ease about setting up CI/CD processes.

**What do you dislike about Buddy?**

Nothing in the current version. When I last used buddy, I found the UI to be a bit confusing; I have been using it a lot since December 2022, and this version checks all the boxes for being a good CI/CD solution.

**What problems is Buddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making it easy for me to setup CI/CD pipelines and make it easy for me to get changes shipped quickly to different servers I have. The wait time to see my changes on the servers has decreased by 50%.

  ### 34. Very fast, useful and easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alejandro B. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Buddy?**

I've been using them since they were called Springloops. The deployments are faster than anywhere else. I've been using their Free plan for my personal projects and the premium one for work. Always good and reliable.

**What do you dislike about Buddy?**

The fact that they disable free accounts if you don't log in for a certain amount of time. Sometimes the email goes to the boss and they ignore it. It should detect if there are commits or deployments, not just logins.

**What problems is Buddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Version control and continuous integration. Deployments from the repository straight to the server. Angular builds. Compiling assets, etc.

  ### 35. Indispensable tool for modern web development agencies

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caleb Z. | Director of Web Development, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Buddy?**

Buddy dramatically improves the speed and reliability of our deployments. Now that we have removed any git or build process from our web servers, Our deployments have become far more secure.

**What do you dislike about Buddy?**

Support is very slow to respond, which leads to a frustrating experience. Fortunately, over several years of using Buddy multiple times daily, we've only ever needed to contact support once, and that was an issue caused by us, not by the service.

**What problems is Buddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We manage over 400 websites, and our developers are making production commits to various sites multiple times a day. Previously, it required a senior developer to manually deploy these commits, but with Buddy, our time to approve and deploy is incredibly faster.

  ### 36. Making deployments and actions so easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael H. | Founder, Developer, Designer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Buddy?**

The different logics' you may add per deployment, integrated git or pull from github, gitlabs and deploy to server. I love the error logging section for people like me that have issues finding why my apps get stalled during deployment.

**What do you dislike about Buddy?**

Honestly? I think adding buddy to your process flow is an excellent choice. I think the only thing which isn't a huge con is more cloud providers should include it in their market place.

**What problems is Buddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Their integrated git system seems a bit slower with less version control options which they are currently adding more features to. Overall this is one of my favorite resources using CI.

  ### 37. Fast and simple

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Buddy?**

It is a really simple and fast tool in which you can automate your workflows without any issues. Do you want to develop rapidly ? Use buddy and it will speed up you.

**What do you dislike about Buddy?**

The price is a little bit high for small businesses.

**What problems is Buddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You dont need to think about your deployment anymore. Use vcs correctly and it will solve your deployment easily.

  ### 38. Buddy for the win!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Buddy?**

I love that the GUI is simple to use. It is fast and robust. 10/10

**What do you dislike about Buddy?**

I wish there were some more intergration for project managment tools and more intergration in general. Some more video on hot to do things would also be great.

**What problems is Buddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is allowing us to doCI/CD to salesforce.

  ### 39. Save yourself a lot of time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jouni S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Buddy?**

If you are working on deploying multiple websites from Github Buddy can save you quite a bit of time by automating almost everything.

**What do you dislike about Buddy?**

There is a learning curve and a lot of features that will require some time investment.

**What problems is Buddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am working on multiple websites with private Github repositories. Using Buddy allows me to automate the deployment and perform tests to make sure the code runs as expected on the staging and the production sites.

  ### 40. Simple and Straightforward. Good for simple deployments

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Buddy?**

Buddy is super easy to use. I really like how Buddy is easy and quick to configure, and keeping relatively simple deployments that don't have a ton of services really straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Buddy?**

When deployments require multiple services to get updated, Buddy is not great at getting complex CI/CD pipelines working. If you're working with a large set of services that need to update in tandem with a monorepo or anything similar, I don't see Buddy being a great solution for that.

**What problems is Buddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Buddy is giving my simple projects a quick way to deploy and automate some very simple processes. I'm really happy with how straightfoward it is to set up a simple pipeline. However, I would not use it for a complex monorepo with multiple pipelines and conditional stuff. It just seems too messy.

  ### 41. Buddy of DevOps

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SriKrishna P. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

Intergration of cloud platforms and K8S deployments

**What do you dislike about Buddy?**

Single repo for a project. Single log template

**What problems is Buddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Configurable actions makes life easier. Swtiching off actions to test integration of new tools. Making devops more productive

  ### 42. Great CICD UI !!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shashidhar H. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Buddy?**

Buddy is very nice CICD tool which is giving a best UI . This is a very simple and efficient tool for devops pipeline. This will be helpful for beginner who is starting DevOps area.2nd great thing is the support, that every user expects. Support is really awesome.

**What do you dislike about Buddy?**

I did not find any bug in the Buddy-works pipeline.

**What problems is Buddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By click, we can configure easily with other stage environment tools, which is easily available.

  ### 43. I never thought automating deployments could save me so much time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zoltan L. | Lead software developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Buddy?**

I love their interface. It was a breeze setting up the automated deployment script, even though I wasn't an expert then. Also their support is superb!

**What do you dislike about Buddy?**

There is nothing to dislike about them. If there was, you could just tell them and they would fix it for you!

**What problems is Buddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using Buddy to automate deploying code to the production server. Now, all it takes to make the changes go live is to push them to the GitHub repo, and Buddy automatically builds and deploys it.

  ### 44. After many years of using another tools, I switch to Buddy for new project.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lubos H. | Interim CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Buddy?**

The biggest advantage of Buddy is its intuitive user interface. I also like many prepared actions which I can use in pipeline. Other platforms do not have an intuitive interface.

**What do you dislike about Buddy?**

Previously we had a problem with permission system - something what should work, not worked properly, but in cooperation with support it was fixed. Every paid feature should work automatically, without asking support for help.

**What problems is Buddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Buddy for atomic deployment. Managing it is much easier than in other platforms.

  ### 45. Rapid, quickly and immediate!! Great Job!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

  ### 47. Very helpful in automating my deployments

Deployments and manual processes those I need to do after that.

  ### 48. Very intuitive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** César T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Buddy?**

Easy to understand configuration wizards with several options and platforms like AWS EC2 and EBS.

**What do you dislike about Buddy?**

Maybe it still not so recognized like other platforms.

**What problems is Buddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Accelerates the CI/CD process.

  ### 49. Perfect CI/CD for startups / solopreneurs / small teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul L. | CTO (Chief Technology Officer), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Buddy?**

Getting buddy setup with your projects is extremely simple with the graphical interface yet still offers customizations and integrations you would expect from any ci/cd.

**What do you dislike about Buddy?**

I would like to have one slack integration that updates dynamically as the build progresses instead of adding a new slack message at each stage I place a slack message. I say this loosely as it may be possible, but with how intuitive buddy is I would have expected to see this working out of the box or as an easy-to-find setting.

**Recommendations to others considering Buddy:**

Highly recommend buddy for a simple, seamless, CI/CD process for beginners and experts alike.

**What problems is Buddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have a small startup I'm bootstrapping on nights and weekends while I work a full-time job as a Software Engineer, I can set up a more complex CI/CD pipeline such as Jenkins, but buddy handles everything for me and the free tier is extremely generous. I can fulfill all of my startup needs with Buddy without having to waste the extra time on my development pipeline.

  ### 50. Buddy is great!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2023

I've moved to buddy to get away from jenkins, so far the ride has been fun and easy

**What do you dislike about Buddy?**

Not much, the free plan is enough for my current needs

**What problems is Buddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automating pipelines and tasks
