I like that you have the option to copy the previous day and even the previous timecard. The interface is clean. You can edit anything until you submit. Any hours over 40 automatically appear under OT. You can enter in hours and minute instead of fractions of an hour. Not endless options. Access to past timecards. **What do you dislike about Buddy Punch?** There is no option for bereavement leave. Too bad I can't edit a PTO request once it is submitted. **What problems is Buddy Punch solving and how is that benefiting you?** Buddy Punch stores past timecards and keeps a running total of my hours and PTO, which saves me time whenever I need to check how much PTO I have left. Location tracking in the app is something I enjoy because being able to see and have proof of time and location of employees is great. Transitioning from paper clocking in and out to using Buddy Punch was very different but it met our expectations. The initial setup was super easy. **What do you dislike about Buddy Punch?** The geo-fence and adding notes are slightly sensitive, and notes can only be added when clocking in and out. When out of geo-fence, you can't clock out. While I do like the drag-and-drop feature, it ends up being quite slow and time-consuming when I need to move shifts to the right staff member. I’m not a fan of assigning shifts directly to employees because I have to constantly switch back and forth to check who has already been scheduled and who still needs a shift. It would also be helpful if we could copy a pre-created template with available shifts that match our hospital’s schedule. I usually set up shifts in the open shifts section, but it would be much more convenient to update all the shifts at once using a template. There have been a few times when I missed clocking in or out, and the weekly hours don’t automatically add up, even after I adjust the times, since it’s waiting for approval. It would be helpful to see a tentative total of potential hours accumulated. I also wish the overall calendar fit better on the screen, as there is a lot of unnecessary space above and below, especially at the bottom where the total hours are displayed. I also wish there was a way to leave the shift and mark it as out sick or left early, without creating a PTO.
