BS&A is designed specifically for government agencies that require fund accounting. This program makes it very easy to keep track and post the necessary transactions required for a governmental unit. In the beginning, BS&A could post revenue to multiple funds at once; after an update (several years ago now) we are only able to post to one fund at a time. It still works but now requires an extra step to show cash receipts in the correct fund. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the many different ways you can search for a property; if you don't know a parcel number, you can still search by name or address. I also like that the staff is very helpful and knowledgable, if you need assistance they will either walk you through the problem, or you can remote them right into the computer so they can show you how the solution. I dislike that it is sometimes difficult to navigate the system. It took a while to learn where everything was located. I also dislike that you can update the residents information in the system, but when the assesor ports over their information, it cancels out any changes you may have made.
