Been using the App Live feature for a couple of years now.
Under this time the feature has been always available. I don't remember any downtime.
Sessions stability is great and barely faced any issue or disconnection while working on testing apps.
It's pretty straightforward to upload an app and start working, it only takes a few clicks so the usability is good.
In terms of responsiveness, which is something really important when working with real devices, it barely affects user experience and you can work with the app without major delays. I have tested other tools in the market and faced slowness that made it hard to work. This hasn't been the case with BrowserStack.
Also, when support was needed I was always able to reach a representative that ended solving the issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not a big downside but some documentation hasn't been clear enough or lacks some steps. I was able to solve this by contacting the representatives thru the chat tough. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

To be able to test different versions iOS apps on different types and versions of iOS device on App Live. It is very troublesome to compile iOS packages and then deploy them to TestFlight and then have to wait for approval again before I can test the iOS app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The session timeout is rather fast. I may be doing some modifications to the codes half way through testing and then when I get back to the testing, the session timed out and I will need to restart the whole process of uploading the app and starting the device again. I am dealing more with react-native apps, so it will definitely be helpful if I can inspect element or event have a console to view all the debug outputs. The lag between the touch (through the mouse) and the screen refresh. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how it gives you multiple options on different browsers that you can test out different models of phones different just overall the different trials you can perform makes you get a better understanding of the differences between products and browsers software when you're putting a team together to work say like in the mining field like I am a mining prospector it would be good if everybody could easily integrate to the system that you want to use for your company

Browserstack has a lot of feature under one roof. I am using App Automation, Web Automation. I love its assisted test feature underAccessibility Testing. With the help of this I can now configure elements in the webpage whether it is accessible with keyboard or mouse and based on that configuration it run the test.
Here, in Accessibility Testing we can use other feature to monitor our website such as Page Speed, Parsing etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am not able to use a very popular framework for accessibility testing which is Lighthouse in Accessibility Testing as it is not supported by Browserstack Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ability to test browsers as well as applications in one system is amazing. It makes testing on IOS Android and Windows as easy as just selecting a browser. I can now have anyone on my team go to BrowserStack and test any of our products. Their customer support and technical support staff are amazing and quick to answer any questions. This will definitely become a permanent fixture in our development process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far I haven't found anything that I disliked and my team has not came to me with any either. Thank you for a great easy to use product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I did not know about BrowserStack before December 2024.In December I was working with one of my projects and that momemnt I required a Macbook urgently but I tried to find out alternative system to use macbook instead of buy it. After that I searched on google and at last I found Browserstack. It is really reliable, faster, low at cost , unbelivable and limitless features. I found it very usefull for my work. The support team is very friendly and they response faster than others. When I used it it was working smoothly even I use it daily for speed up my work . If I say shortly , it is really awsome with easy integration and implementaion function even a little boy can easily use it like selecting operating system, browser, version etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think Browserstack should run discounts camping for more growth and reach out the people. And it should include more payment gateways so that everyone can afford it easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love Browserstack because it is a famous web development and testing platform that offers numerous benefits like Cross-Browser Testing, from different browser, versions and devices, real device cloud whuch can be access real android and ios devices for authentic mobile testing, responsive design testing which ensure seamless website rendering across different sizes of devices and lastly the automated testing which is integrated with popular frameworks like selenium, appium and cypress Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
what i dont like with browserstack is the inconsistent performance , which it is slow loading, laggy interactions or worst is crashing and alos the inaccurate rendering which some websites may not render exactly as they do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The device farm that BS has setup and the UI to access devices in the farm is responsive and rarely seems to fail which is a far cry from other platforms with similar solutions. The way that all different permutations of devices are laid out makes testing straight forward and a joy. Configuration for each device and controls are displayed in such a way where users never have to think twice about what they want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Understanding how to use each individual feature at the top level isn't as intuitive and figuring out which role to have requires some onboarding time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Honestly, BrowserStack is like having a full-blown device lab in your pocket without the clutter. The fact that I can test on dozens of devices - old iPhones, shiny new Androids, whatever the latest Chrome or Safari version is - without having to leave my desk is a game-changer. I also love that it’s all in the cloud, so no clunky software installs. For someone juggling way too many projects, it’s a huge time saver. Plus, their live testing is super slick - just hop in, pick a device/browser combo, and boom, you’re testing like a pro. It’s also helped me look smarter in meetings, which, let’s face it, we all need sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It’s pricey. Like, you-really-need-a-budget pricey, especially if you’re not using it daily. And while the interface is mostly smooth, it does occasionally feel a bit sluggish. However once you're using Browserstack properly, the benefits significantly outweigh the costs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As an Automation Engineer, I like its Low code automation feature. Although I love coding and writing scripts, this feature is more than that.
This is similar to something we have used in our browser. But this is more than that, here we can automate any desktop app. Browserstack can generate the codes for the traces or action we perform in the App.
Its test suits then allows us to edit or add headers if required in any API or URL. Its provide a lot of customization once it generates the code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With the help of low code automation you can just automate few things that are not upgrading frequently. Else we cant rely on this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
