What do you like best about BrightstarDB?

BrightstarDB does not provide all the functionalities one would expect from an RDF database. It takes some time to understand RDF concepts. Once you grasp them navigating through their difficulties becomes hectic. Not having open source community support is also a disadvantage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrightstarDB?

The documentation needs to be improved the accessibility and ease of use make up for it. The downside is that it lacks security features. BrightstarDB excels in graph processing and RDF triplestore capabilities there are drawbacks to consider. BrightstarDB is an RDF triple store. It does not require the definition of a database schema, and with the RDF data model model you can easily add and integrate data of all shapes. I found brightstardb to be a very user-friendly and intuitive database. It was easy to set up and use, and the documentation was clear and concise. The features and functionality are great, and it's overall a very solid database solution. If you're considering switching to brightstardb, I say go for it - you won't be disappointed! What do you like best about BrightstarDB?

The Brightstar DB database is available on many differnet platfoms, including mobile clients (Android, iOS, etc.) and on Windows/Linux servers, and it is very convenient to have one time developed solution which could run on many different cleints to save development cost. What do you dislike about BrightstarDB?

Brightstar DB is operated in a kind of open-source mode. Like other open-source software, we can quickly get support from the community for simple problems, but it is not very easy to get help for deeper customization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is BrightstarDB solving and how is that benefiting you?

In our use case, we want to build a simple question-answer system that needs to make a small knowledge graph system, and Brightstar DB is built on RDF, and we can build a knowledge graph based on it. What do you like best about BrightstarDB?

One of the best DBs out there , that's easy to add and integrate data with their built in RDF data model and doesn't require a DB schema definition!

Can be used to easily connect with other data stores using off the shelf client tools as it internally implements standard SPARQL query language.

It uses simple yet powerful RDF graph data models to represent and store various data.

Offers flexibility, scalability & easy integration with simple merging of data.

Offers storage and representation of full historical data.

What do you dislike about BrightstarDB?

What do you like best about BrightstarDB?

BrightstarDB has a compatibility across various platforms be it linux, windows, ios, android which makes it very user friendly. It is an open source application which makes it super recommendable, the source code is available on Github for API integration. It uses RDF flexibility which helps in adding and integrating data of any shape. It also release timely updates for better performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrightstarDB?

There is a compilation issue which need to be fixed. There are some code errors which occur when it is installed on windows. New Release should fix the bugs of previous release so that the client can use it more easily Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about BrightstarDB?

I like best that it allows native development and is available for all platforms like Windows, Linux, OSX, Android, iOS, and more. It needs very less configuration and can be setup quickly as a server for your application. It can be connected using RESTful HTTP API and provides various flexibility in terms of query languages.
