## About Dash
Dash is an affordable digital asset management (DAM) tool for ecommerce brands, with pricing starting at $109 per month. It gives marketing and creative teams one clear place to store, organise, and use their brand content. If you’re using Google Drive or Dropbox to manage creative, things get messy fast. Files are hard to find, links break, and teams waste time searching instead of launching work. Dash is built to fix that. With Dash, all your brand assets live in one place — from product photography and campaign creative to influencer content and UGC. You can upload files directly or collect content using upload links, so creators, agencies, and partners can send work without needing access. Once files are in, your team can approve content or leave feedback before it’s used. Dash makes assets easy to find as your library grows. Images are automatically tagged using AI, and you can add your own custom fields like product line, campaign, usage rights, or photographer. That means less digging through folders and more time actually using your creative. When it’s time to launch, Dash helps you move faster. Resize and crop images directly in the platform, download them ready for different marketing channels, or push product images straight into your Shopify listings. Dash also makes sharing simple. Your retail partners need access to your product creative. Rather than dealing with individual requests and WeTransfer files, set up custom branded portals for them. Your retailers can find the assets they need easily, without needing to come through you. Dash helps ecommerce teams to: Store all brand creative in one organised place Collect content from creators and partners without the chaos Find assets quickly using AI tags and custom fields Prepare images for marketing and ecommerce channels Get creative into the hands of your retail partners Share approved assets externally without extra admin Dash includes unlimited users and all features on every plan, so teams don’t have to manage seats or upgrades as they grow. It’s used by ecommerce brands that want less time hunting for files — and more time getting creative work out into the world.

## Dash Reviews
  ### 1. Dash Is the Backbone of Our Creative Agency—Customizable, Fast, and Client-Friendly

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

I have been using the software daily for 7 months and have no complaints so far. I love that you can customize, sort, and tag every item. It is very easy to navigate and find the item I need. We work with 30+ accounts, so Dash fits our needs and is the backbone of our creative agency. It is pretty fast with normal uploads, however Dash take a while when uploading larger files. It has been great with reaching our clients, we are able to send out Dash upload links to each client when onboarding, which has been very helpful. I don't manage billing directly, but I think DAMs are "you get what you pay for" and Dash is definitely one of the best of the best.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I wish that naming and tagging each item was more streamlined. I don't know what this would look like, but it is tedious with large uploads. I also do not like that I can name an item on Dash but then when I download it, it downloads as the original file name that was uploaded. These defeats the purpose of naming it, really. The last issue I have is with the client upload guest link. It is tedious that each item has to be approved one by one and there is no select/mass approval button for this.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash allows us to be professional when we are doing any client facing file sharing. It also helps us when we are looking for items. Everything is easy to find and stored nicely.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thanks so much for the review, and for being a daily user for 7 months! Really glad customising, sorting and tagging every item has made things so easy to navigate, and that Dash has become the backbone for managing 30+ accounts at the agency. Also great to hear the upload links have made onboarding new clients so much smoother, and that the value for money has stood out too.

On your feedback: on tagging and naming feeling tedious with large uploads, it’s definitely worth a call with our Customer Success team - it’s free and they can help streamline your taxonomy and tagging setup to cut down on that manual effort.

For filenames, good news, we’ve just released a setting under Admin > Preset Sizes > Original that lets you use the title you’ve set in Dash as the downloaded filename, so that should solve that one directly.

And lastly on approvals, you can actually hold shift and click to bulk select and approve assets, and there’s also an “Approve All” button in the approvals area if you want to clear everything in one go.

Thanks again for taking the time to share such detailed feedback, and I hope those tips help smooth a few things out day to day!
Best wishes,

Barney

  ### 2. Easy Asset Organization, Strong Search, and Responsive Dash Support

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

What I like most about Dash is how easy it is to organize and find assets without needing much training or setup. We use it as our digital asset management system for thousands of marketing and production files, and its search, tagging, and collection features make it straightforward for both our internal teams and salespeople to quickly locate exactly what they need.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Nothing specific comes to mind. Overall, it has been a useful tool and it does what it’s meant to do.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Dash, managing our digital assets across multiple teams was becoming increasingly difficult. Our files were scattered across different storage locations, the organization was inconsistent, and it often took longer than it should have to find the right logo, product image, or production file. On top of that, there was always the risk that someone would end up using an outdated asset.

Dash gave us a centralized place for all of our approved assets. We can organize files using metadata, tags, and collections, which makes them much easier to search, manage, and keep up to date. Instead of answering constant requests for files or tracking them down manually, our teams can usually find what they need on their own in just a few minutes.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thanks so much for the review! Really glad Dash has made it so easy to organise and find assets across thousands of marketing and production files, and that search, tagging and collections are helping both internal teams and salespeople find exactly what they need without much setup or training.

It's also great to hear how much value collections and consistent metadata have added for managing your library at scale, and how much smoother things have become with design, marketing and sales all working from the same up to date assets instead of chasing files over email. That kind of cross-team consistency is exactly what we want Dash to enable. And really pleased our responsiveness to feedback has stood out too, that's something we genuinely care about :)

One small favour: it looks like some of the great feedback above ended up in the 'dislikes' section. If you're able to update the review it'll paint a much more accurate picture for other people checking us out on G2. Would really appreciate it!

Thanks again for taking the time to share such a detailed review, it's brilliant to hear the impact Dash has had across your teams!

Best wishes,
Barney

  ### 3. Easy Asset Search, Tagging, and Sharing—Plus Helpful Version History

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

The thing that stands out most is how easy it makes finding and sharing the right asset quickly, especially when you're juggling files across multiple brands or clients. The search and tagging system means I'm not digging through folder structures trying to remember where something was saved six months ago. Sharing external links with clients or freelancers is simple too, so I don't have to grant full account access just to get one file across. It's also nice having version history so nothing gets overwritten by accident when a few people are working from the same library.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The bulk upload and organizing process can be a bit clunky when you're bringing in a large batch of files at once, tagging everything properly takes more manual effort than I'd like. The mobile experience also feels like an afterthought compared to desktop, so previewing or approving assets on the go isn't as smooth. And occasionally the search doesn't surface exactly what I'm looking for unless the tagging was done carefully upfront.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before this, assets were scattered across shared drives, email attachments, and random folders, which meant a lot of time lost hunting for the right file or worse, using an outdated version by mistake. Dash centralizes everything in one place, so there's a single source of truth for approved assets. That's saved real time on back-and-forth with clients and freelancers, since I can just send a link instead of chasing down files or re-exporting things. It's also made handoffs between team members smoother, since anyone can find what they need without relying on someone else's folder structure knowledge.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thanks for the review! Really glad search, tagging and sharing have made it so much easier to find and get assets across to clients and freelancers without handing over full account access, and that version history has given you peace of mind while multiple people work from the same library. Great to hear Dash has become that single source of truth too, saving time on back-and-forth and making handoffs between team members so much smoother.

On your feedback: appreciate you flagging bulk upload, it's useful to know where the tagging effort feels heaviest so we can look at where that could be streamlined. Mobile is also on our radar as something to keep improving, so I'll make sure your comments get passed on there too.

On search: it's worth trying our AI search if you haven't already, it's built to understand more natural queries and can often surface the right result even where tagging isn't perfectly consistent.

Thanks again for taking the time to share such detailed feedback, really useful for us!

Best wishes,
Barney

  ### 4. Centralised, Organised Asset Library That Saves Time with SKU Search and Preset Downloads

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

What I like best about Dash is having all of our assets stored in one central place. Everything is clearly organised, making it easy to find exactly what I need, whether that's product imagery, lifestyle photography or campaign assets. Being able to search by SKU and download images in the correct pre-set sizes saves a huge amount of time and makes creating content much more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

One area that could be improved is the custom download feature. The interface gives the impression that you can freely crop or customise the image dimensions, but in reality the aspect ratios are locked. Making this clearer upfront, or allowing more flexibility with custom cropping, would make the experience more intuitive.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash has made it much easier for us to share the Little Dutch brand with our retailers. Having all product imagery, lifestyle assets and campaign content in one place means we can quickly find and download what we need, ensuring retailers always have access to the latest, high-quality assets. It saves time, keeps everything consistent, and makes supporting our retail partners much more efficient.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thanks for the review! Really glad Dash has become the central home for all your product, lifestyle and campaign assets, and that SKU search and preset downloads are saving you real time day to day. Love hearing how it's helping you support Little Dutch's retailers too, keeping everything consistent and up to date for them is such a great use case.

On the custom download feedback: that's a genuinely useful point. You're right that the interface should be clearer about the locked aspect ratios rather than implying full flexibility, and I'll pass that on to the product team as a good fix. Appreciate you flagging it, it makes it much easier for us to act on.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience with Dash!

Best wishes,
Barney

  ### 5. Efficient for Large Scale Content Management, Needs Refinement for Smaller Brands

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

I think the ease of use of Dash is great, and I find the guest upload link particularly convenient. The guest upload feature is something that brands should definitely utilize to its full potential.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I think sometimes when you're dealing with a big folder, it can be quite glitchy. When reviewing content in Dash, there's no real way to bookmark where you're up to if you're going through multiple folders. This makes it hard to keep track of what you've reviewed, and you have to click back, scroll down, and load more again, which messes up the organization. I also feel the guest upload link could have a better review system—right now, it's just approve or delete. It would be nice if you could send an automated reply directly through Dash when something needs adjusting, instead of going back to emails.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash helps us organize vast amounts of content across multiple brands, making it easier to sort through media from trips and events. The guest upload link streamlines collaboration with content creators, though it could use better review features.

  ### 6. Clear UX and Smooth Shopify Integration for Easy Asset Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

A clear tool where we can manage all our assets. The structure of the UX is clear which makes it easy for everyone to navigate. For me personally I also like the Shopify integration to get all content easily in Shopify without needing to download and re-upload the content.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I think that the tool can be improved by guiding everyone at the first use / start to all handy ways how to handle Dash. I feel like to possibilities are so much that it can feel quite overwhelming and sometimes one easy use case can benefit efficiency.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Content management, it benefits me so I can easily share content with the share links and find all content in the correct folders.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thanks for the review! Really glad the UX has felt clear and easy for everyone to navigate, and that the Shopify integration has saved you the hassle of downloading and re-uploading content. Great to hear share links and folder organisation have made content management and sharing so much easier too.

On onboarding: that's really useful feedback, it makes sense that with so much Dash can do, it's easy for the handy shortcuts to get lost without a bit of guidance early on. Worth knowing that free onboarding comes as standard on all our plans, so if you or the team ever want a refresher on getting the most out of Dash, our support team are always happy to help. I'll also pass your feedback on to the product team as something worth looking at more broadly, whether that's better first-use guidance or clearer signposting to the quick wins.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience with Dash!

Best wishes,
Barney

  ### 7. Empowers Asset Management with AI Search

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mel H. | Brand Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

I love the AI search feature on Dash and the ability to create collections, which we can share internally. I also love how engaged Dash is in taking feedback and improving their platform.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The only thing would be the ability to archive content - maybe photography we no longer have the license for, or previous campaign images we want to be able to review and reference, but can't actually use anymore. Being able to label something as 'Archive' so it exists in Dash, but is in a folder separate from live content. It wouldn't come up in AI search.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash helps manage our photography and campaign creative, solving storage and searchability issues, and providing easy access across the business.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Mel,

Thanks for the review! Really glad AI search and collections have been useful for you, and lovely to hear that our responsiveness to feedback stands out too, that's something we take a lot of pride in. Great to know Dash is making photography and campaign creative easier to store and access across the whole business as well.

The archiving idea is a really good one. Being able to retain content you can't use anymore but still want to reference, without it cluttering live search, makes a lot of sense. I'll log this as a feature request against your name so you're notified if we start building it out.

Thanks again for taking the time to share this, really appreciate the thoughtful feedback!

Best wishes,
Barney

  ### 8. Easy Organization and Helpful AI Search for Finding Photos

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

It's easy to sort through the feed and keep things organized in folders. The AI search is very helpful in finding photos, especially compared to Google Drive, which is inundated with other files. Dash is a dedicated place for assets that could end up lost otherwise.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The AI suggestions (beta) are definitely hit or miss, but they can sometimes save me time. I can set an expiration date on limited use assets, but it would be much more helpful if those assets automatically archived themselves once that date passes.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's been helpful to have Dash as the go-to, dedicated, source of truth for asset storage and photography over the years.

  ### 9. Efficient File Sharing, Needs Better Video Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Georgii O. | Senior Performance Marketing Manager, Automotive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

What I like most about Dash is the portal's function. You can create portals to share links with a specific audience, like when we have new partners. It allows us to quickly create a package with our logos and photos, making it the primary source of materials for them.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I think the video files could have been better because we also have video files, and I don't think uploading videos there makes a big difference. It's not made for videos; it's made for photos. They could think of video sharing options which would be great.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash solves the problem of sharing multiple files easily, preventing the chaos of files being scattered across folders, and eliminating broken link issues.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Georgii,

Thanks for the review! Really glad the portals feature has made sharing logos and photos with new partners so quick and straightforward, that's exactly what it's there for. Great to hear Dash has also helped cut down on scattered files and broken links for you.

On video: that's fair feedback, and I want to make sure I address it properly rather than brush past it. You can share videos easily like you would any other file on Dash. That said, video support is something we're continuing to invest in and know we could do more on - so if there are specific things that would make it feel more built for video (trimming, playback, previews, sharing), I'd genuinely love to hear more. Feel free to reach out to us directly, or I'm happy to follow up here :)

Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience with Dash!

Best wishes,
Barney

  ### 10. Streamlined Content Hub with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

I think Dash, from a user perspective, is extremely friendly. It's well organized and relatively easy to navigate. It gives you the ability to custom build portals, folders, and content at the click of a finger and has really streamlined the workflow process to get materials out to partners in an organized and timely fashion.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I'd love the opportunity for Dash to be a little bit more friendly on the back end admin side. I find myself having to Google search a lot of questions or find my way to a help center when I'm unsure on how to navigate or mass update resources. I'd love the opportunity for it to start to self-serve in terms of auto-tagging documents and needs as necessary. And I'd love for it to have the capability to either recommend, binning or providing a kind of high level of these things. Resources that have never been utilized could be explored for rebuilding or removing completely to sift through the chaos of the resources we've uploaded.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Dash to deliver high-quality content to partners efficiently. It streamlines our content delivery and ensures partners access the latest resources from our teams.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thanks for the review! Really glad the user experience has felt friendly and well organised, and that being able to build portals, folders and content quickly has helped streamline getting materials out to partners in a timely way.

On the admin side: first off, our support team are available for free for every customer, so please don't hesitate to reach out if you could use a hand making the most out of your Dash.

That said, it also sounds like there's a couple of great product ideas in here too, smarter self-serve auto-tagging, and some kind of usage insight to flag resources that are underused or ready to be archived or removed. I'll make sure both get logged with the product team.

Thanks again for taking the time to share such detailed feedback!

Best wishes,
Barney

  ### 11. Time-Saving and Accessible with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jaysee v. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

I like that Dash makes it easier for people to review the work I deliver and creates a steady base platform for the whole brand, which is not only easier but also time-saving and a safe database. What I like the most is the fact that it is less time consuming, saves personal storage, and is easily accessible.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I would love a chat function and to be able to search for folders instead of just images. Also a lot of times bigger total zip files won't load.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash makes it easier for people to review my work, creates a steady base for the brand, saves time, personal storage, and provides easy accessibility and a safe database.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Jaysee,

Thanks for the review! Really glad Dash has made reviewing work, storing your brand's assets, and accessing everything so much easier and less time-consuming, that's exactly the kind of steady, safe base we want it to be for teams.

On your feedback: a chat function isn't something we have right now, but I'll make sure it's logged as a vote for it so you're notified if we start exploring it. Folder search is a great shout too, currently search is focused on assets themselves, but I hear you on wanting that extended to folders.

The zip loading issue with larger files is the one I'd really like to get sorted though, that shouldn't be happening. Would you be able to drop our support team a message in-app with some examples of the files that are struggling? They'll be able to dig into what's going on and get it fixed for you.

Thanks again for taking the time to share this, really useful feedback across the board. And let's get that zip issue fixed for you! <3

Best wishes,
Barney

  ### 12. Dash’s Excellent Organization Makes Files Easy to Find

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash has excellent organization, with easy-to-find files. I also like how you can hover over videos to play them before opening them up. Auto tags are excellent, different download options and the way the folders are named at the top are also great. It is much better than Dropbox, which my company has used in the past, because it has plenty of storage and is so much simpler to use. I believe that Dash is worth the money.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Not much to complain about Dash, they have amazing features all throughout. Only slight complaint is that it is visually boring, yet the simplicity does make things easier to see. It also is a slower to load at times but it is not a huge issue.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For my company, Dash solves the problem of organization. We deal with many different photos for several different restaurants all with different menus, so proper and simple organization is crucial for our company.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thanks so much for the review! Really glad organisation, hover-to-preview videos, auto tags and the download options have all been working well for you, and great to hear Dash has been such a step up from Dropbox on storage and simplicity. Especially good to know it's helping keep things straightforward across so many different restaurants and menus, that's exactly the kind of complexity we want Dash to simplify.

On your feedback: appreciate the honesty on visual style, that's useful to know even if the simplicity is doing its job functionally. On loading speed, sorry to hear it's been slower at times, if you ever notice it happening consistently or with particular file types, feel free to flag it to our support team so they can take a look.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience with Dash!

Best wishes,
Barney

  ### 13. Easy to Use with Great Search and Straightforward Permissions

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Easy to use, great search capabilities and the internal/external facing permissions are easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The biggest prohibitive factor for us is the cost. It's a difficult sell to managers, despite all of the pros and time saved by using it.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest challenge we were facing was with a Google folder filing system for storing our photos. It was hard to find what you needed. If someone wasn't familiar with the file structure, it was impossible. The search functions and filters in Dash are very helpful and make finding what you need very simple.

  ### 14. A modern, polished DAM solution with outstanding customer service!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan S. | Creative Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash is a very slick and polished DAM solution with excellent customer service. The software feels lightweight and responsive, and it's easy to pick up and establish a workflow. It has a good balance of features and simplicity, which makes for a nice experience regardless of experience level. Installation into our Shopify store was quick and seamless.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

We were hoping that the Shopify integration would be a bit more robust. This may in fact be a limitation on the Shopify side and no fault of Dash, however we were looking for a solution that could tie into our Shopify media library at a deeper level, providing seamless image creation in the theme editor area. Instead one must essentially export new images to the Shopify library any time a new asset or change to an existing asset is needed, which is essentially the same workflow required with the native Shopify media library.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash didn't ultimately work for us, but we could see it working well for a lot of teams. On the Shopify side, for stores that don't already use a PIM software for product management including product assets, the features that Dash offers are pretty good and will sync up well with their products.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Ryan,

Thanks for the thoughtful review! We really appreciate you taking the time to share such detailed feedback. It’s great to hear you found Dash polished, responsive, and easy to get started with, and that the Shopify installation was smooth.

Totally hear you about our current Shopify integration. The good news is we’re just about to roll out an enhanced Shopify integration designed to better support brands managing large product catalogues! It'll make it much easier to manage hundreds of product images in Dash and update product listings in Shopify at scale.

While we understand Dash wasn’t ultimately the right fit for your setup, we really appreciate the kind words about the product and our support team. It's been a pleasure working with you guys and you know where we are if you ever need us again in the future :)

Take care, all the best,
Barney

  ### 15. Fast, Customisable Asset Management with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

I like how fast Dash is, how customizable it is to requirements, and how simple it is to look through.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I think their function to download in a certain size is great, but I wish there were more options like the new 3:4 ratio from Instagram, LinkedIn Banners, etc. A wider range for social platforms and formats would be nice.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Dash for having a catalog of imagery and content that can be sourced swiftly. I like how fast it is, how customizable it is to requirements, and how simple it is to look through.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thanks for the review! Really glad Dash has felt fast, customisable and simple to look through, and that having a swiftly sourced catalog of imagery and content has worked well for you.

On preset sizes: we do need to update our default presets up to date with new social formats. But it's worth knowing you can also add fully custom crops and download sizes yourself, whether that's something like the newer Instagram 3:4 ratio or your own specs for things like homepage banners. Have included a link about that below :)

Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience with Dash!

Best wishes,
Barney

  ### 16. Easy Asset Organization with AI-Powered Search

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

What I like most is how easy it is to organize, search and find assets. AI-powered search makes finding files easy.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Not being able to select multiple files from different folders for download.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash is enabling the sharing of assets between different teams while making it easy to find them.

  ### 17. Dash Makes Asset Access Easy, but Needs Speed and Communication Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ron V. | Creative and Marketing Assistant/Site Merchandizer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

What I like about Dash most is that it makes our assets easily accessible while retaining their quality. Anyone from the team can find it and DL for any use-cases they may have without needing the help of a graphic designer or creative person to assist.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

One of the things I don't like about Dash is the speed. It's quite slow on some very important days. Another one is the lack of ability to talk inside Dash or make comments much like Asana. I think this would be great soon so teams can directly communicate there with multi-channel notif to comms apps like slack, mobile phones, and emails.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think storage and accessibility is the biggest benefit right now that I and the team is getting from Dash.

  ### 18. Great UI and AI Search Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civic & Social Organization | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

The UI is great and love the AI search tool

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The sharing content/folders, you have to select the images

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Content foldering and location

  ### 19. Clean interface, great for branding

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ngan N. | Social Media Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash has a clean and beautiful interface, making it easy to keep everything well-organised. It’s a great tool for managing and presenting brand assets consistently, and it really helps keep branding aligned across the team.

Good support team

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Sometimes the app can run a little slow, and there are still many features that I feel could be explored further to get the most out of it.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash helps us organise and present our brand assets consistently, making it easier for the whole team to stay aligned. The support team is also very responsive and quick to explain any issues we encounter. If we run into more challenges in the future, we know we can rely on them for assistance.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi there, thanks so much for leaving us a review :)

Its great to hear that Dash is working well for you. I'm sorry to hear about the slowness though, that's not good! This can often be down to local internet connections etc, but if that ever happens please do get in touch with us via the in-app chat and we'll always investigate our side to see if anything is going on.

Regarding features, we always love to hear how we can improve Dash, so please do raise your ideas in our Ideas Hub (link added below), as well as voting and commenting on existing ideas. If there's anything you are unsure of, do give us a shout on the in-app chat and we'll be happy to chat through how we can help.

  ### 20. Good product, still has some kinks to work out

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elizabeth H. | Content Creator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

I like that I can upload all of my media in one spot and anyone in our office can access it, it's grouped by client, it's user friendly, tons of search options.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I wish there was an app option.
It does crash sometimes.
It's hard to find my company I work for from the homepage of Dash.
Also, I need the standard forn how long a link is viable to be forver instead of 7 days

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One specific location to keep all our media for clients in an easy access and user friendly interface.

  ### 21. Great platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

I love the customisation features to personalise your own homepage and how you can have files in multiple folders. The customer service so far has been very positive as we've had multiple video call introductions to the platform with different members of our team. Being able to use my own custom sizes to save files saves me lots of time as a social media manager! Dash's aesthetic and organisational methods bring out the best of our company's photos.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I wish our plan came with more storage, however it is easy and affordable to add more on. I love how easy it is to share photos with those outside of your organisation but wish it didn't use up so many of our limited downloads!

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us to keep our best photos separate from the rest and share them more publically with ease.

  ### 22. Intuitive, Easy-to-Use System

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Dash?**

The system is intuitive and easy to use

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The search is not very precise, at least not yet for us

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having all of our images in one place, avoiding duplicates and manual work

  ### 23. Great UX and Fast Downloads, but Needs Better Sorting and Bulk Naming Options

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Nice UX, modern feel, easy multi-size download function, easy navigation, quick load times.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Inability to alter the total overview view so that the most recently uploaded always appear first. Can't add a variable data field to bulk naming of images to easily put all images into a fixed category when downloading them but still give them an individual name e.g. Christmas Party 1, Christmas Party 2, Christmas Party 3 etc.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating one hub for all of our content as a business. Currently it's just for images but in the future it could and should be a brand repository as a whole.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi there, thanks so much for taking the time leave us a review, we really appreciate it :)

To address your concerns to see if we can help:
- You can sort the "All assets" view by date added, which will show the most recently added assets first. Would that help? Just look for the sorting menu at the top-right of the screen.
- Regarding the download filename, we are actually working on this at the moment. Please do have a look at this feature request and vote/comment so we can ensure we take your requirements into consideration: https://feedback.dash.app/roadmap/ability-to-controlconfigure-the-filename-of-a-downloaded-asset

If there is anything else Dash can do better, please do get in touch via the in-app chat and we'll be happy to help!

  ### 24. Easy to Use with Beautiful Design

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edu J. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Easy to use, nice Design. Excellent cutomer support

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The approval process and feedback could be better

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Assets with an expiration date, organize assets in an easy way

  ### 25. Efficient Folder Navigation, but Search Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

The best thing I love about Dash is the left sidebar — being able to view and access multiple folders at once makes finding assets incredibly easy and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I dislike that the search functionality isn’t as effective as I expected. Instead of showing relevant folders, it displays all the assets within them. It would be much more useful if I could search for specific folders and then choose which one to open

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves a lot of my asset management issues, with it's easy navigation so user friendly operating system!

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi there, thanks so much for you review :)

Being able to search for a specific folder sounds like a great improvement. Please do vote on the feature request for this which I've added a link to below, to help increase the priority of this :)

In the meantime, you can browse for specific folders in the sidebar, and you can jump to any folder an asset is in by clicking that folder's name in the metadata sidebar when viewing an asset.

If you'd like any further support with this, just get in touch via the in-app chat and we'll be happy to help :)

  ### 26. A great platform for storing and organizing your digital assets

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam R. | Digital Properties Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

- Being able to tag/categorize your assets in a number of ways
- Good UI/UX interface
- Great documentation
- Great support through chat and onboarding calls
- Open forum for platform for feature requests/improvements

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

- Contributors can't add controlled tags (but admins should be able to give this capability)
- User should be able to change his/her view to show/hide file meta data that appears below asset
- AI tagging is pretty much useless
- Storage limit is too small compared to competing platforms

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to store and categorize the best of our digital assets to they can be quickly and easily searched and used.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi Adam, thanks so much for your detailed review! It is great to hear the feedback of both things we are doing well and things we can improve :)

It is great to hear the UX, support and documentation are all helping you. Here are some thoughts on your other points of feedback:

- Contributors unable to add tags - this is by design so that admins can control the tags in use, to ensure users use the right tag and to avoid incorrect tags (e.g. typos etc) being added. But I'm sure there are plenty of use cases where allowing contributors to create them would help. I can see you've raised a feature request for this - great! That is the best way for our product team to review this idea.

- Users changing metadata shown under thumbnail - that's a really interesting suggestion! Please do raise this in our ideas hub (link below) so our team can monitor interest in this.

- AI tagging - I'm sorry to hear this isn't providing value. AI tags are there to provide an easy way to improve the searchability of assets before you've applied your own custom metadata. We are very close to launching a new AI-powered search that will hopefully offer a much improved experience for this, that won't rely on AI tags. Watch this space!

- Storage limit - thanks for the feedback! I believe we are reviewing this and likely to increase the storage included in our plans in the near future.

  ### 27. Dash makes getting images web ready easy.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rory H. | UI/UX Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

The best thing about Dash for me is having the ability to crop resize the image before I download. As I work almost exclusively building websites for my company, this saves me a lot of time as I do not need to rely on another tool after I download.

The AI tags also make my life easier. Rather than scroll through folders searching for what I want, I can just search it up directly instead.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

While I have tags applied, when I use the search feature it automatically deselects my selected tags. This is certainly a painpoint as I will have to add them back every time I make a new search.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A problem is having to use other tools to resize my asset after I download it.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Rory,

Thanks very much for your review! Very glad to hear that Dash's cropping and resizing tools are saving you time!

Also appreciate your feedback on the search experience and I've shared this with our team. If you have any other suggestions, we'd love to hear them!

Thanks again for using Dash. 🚀

All the best,
Barney

  ### 28. Practical and easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Writing and Editing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

very practical, intuitive, easy to use for sharing files with teams, collaborators, clients, ... I use it almost daily for several months, I am very happy with it.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

sometimes complicated to find a file (especially when there are a lot of photos in the folders)

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

share large files
create an image bank
share files for approval
very practical because easy to use and accessible for everyone

  ### 29. Good Experience from Start to Finish

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Easy to use, intuitive flow and makes keeping teams on brand significantly easier

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Would be useful to be able to set alerts when new assets are loaded.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creates an easy library of assets to maintain a consistent brand feel and identidy.

  ### 30. We use Dash to manage our digital assets and it is quite user friendly

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Barrett H. | Business Technology Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash is very intuitive and user friendly and there really was almost no learning curve and I could get going almost immediately. Also the interface is sleek and uncluttered which helps me to easily organize, searc, and retrieve assets quickly and being able to edit the fields and tag options also totally cut down on my jerking around, especially with such a large number of images and videos. Plus, the team of representatives from Dash is just too quick to respond and solves any problem that I had.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I find the search functionality a bit of a pain and it does not always bring the most relevant results and auto tagging can be wrong at times also, causing a need for more cleanup. Add to this not having drag and drop when reordering assets and you have an application that is much more of a headache to organize big libraries in than it needs to be.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Dash, it had been an onerous task to manage and find digital assets spread out across different teams - files were scattered all over the place and finding that one right image was a big pain, but now, with the tagging system of Dash, things have become searchable in just a few seconds and hence no time is wasted. This ease in sharing assets with other departments and external partners has tremendously improved collaboration.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi Barrett, thanks so much for your review, we really appreciate it :) It is great to hear that Dash has been easy to use and you've had a great experience with our support :)

We'd love to hear more about how we can improve the things that are causing you frustrations, for example the search not always showing you the most relevant results. Sometimes the answer can be in making use of fields, and/or learning how to make the most out of the search functionality. Regarding drag and drop, that's a great suggestion! Please do vote and add your comment to our tracked feature request for that (link below). If you'd like to discuss any of these ideas or more, please do get in touch via the in-app chat and we'll be happy to help.

  ### 31. Excellent DAM system with features galore

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam H. | Director of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash is an excellent DAM system that is super easy to use and has all the features you need in a premium asset management system. We got setup in just a few minutes. The AI image recognition is great and the organisation tools are straightforward. Sharing photos and assets is as simple as creating a collection of photos or using a smart search and choosing who to share it with. It's a really fantastic bit of software.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

There's not much wrong with Dash in terms of functionality and features, the biggest down side is the price. It has a reasonable ROI if used with care in terms of the range and quality of assets you upload, but do not look at this as a file storage system - more than a few gigabytes and you're talking $100's per month.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash is helping us share our assets both internally and externally with ease and with additional intelligence.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Adam,

Thank you for your thoughtful review. We're glad to hear that Dash has been straightforward to set up and that features like AI image recognition, organization tools, and sharing functionality have been valuable for you! It’s great to know Dash is making asset sharing more efficient for your team.

Dash is designed to be a powerful DAM rather than a traditional file storage solution, but we understand your concerns about pricing and storage limits. If you'd like to talk this through with our friendly customer service team, just start a chat in-app and they'll be in touch :)

All the best,
Barney

  ### 32. Its good if your a small business and want to search your own content

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jen H. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Influencers can upload content directly to a unique link. Makes it much easier than having them whatsapp the content or email so share a drobox or google file.
Our teams can all access the content and we can create our own keywords that are relevent to our data - find everything pink or purple or blue.
Its easy for our team to pick up and use.
It was the cheapest choice for the needs we had at the time.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

We didnt like the onboarding process. And as a result ALL of our content had AI generated tags and keywords that are ALL completely wrong and inappropriate. We have been painstakingly going through EVERY record to remove them all. This is not finsihed. We have a LOT of content that is still not tagged correctly so we cant search through everything because everything isnt tagged. Really annoying and frustrating.

Also, we have double ups from our own initial upload and trying to find them and remove them has been problematic too. I think thats pushing our data storage fee over the top.

We are charged for downloads, when we pay over $3500 per yer to have the service. I have my agency, social media team and admin team needing to access our content, they have to download, Im not sure this is the best solution as we grow. It also creates a concern as our content is downloaded around the place by our service providers. if they coudl just copy the file directly from Dash, that woudl be better.

Customer service and accounts service has been slow.

Im not seeing value and Ive started looking for alternatives. All my team groan when I say find it on Dash... because they cant and I know we have the image or video as i saved it when we got it from Instagram, Facebook, TikGTok or a customer sent it to us. We are innefective and unproductive when it comes to this App and service.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its actaully not solving problems for us at the moment, its making them.

  ### 33. Easy to Use at a Great Pricepoint

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jasmine B. | Marketing & Social Media Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

I am so glad we picked DASH as our DAM. As a seasonl company, we loved the flexible pricing and how easy it was to use on Day 1.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I wish there was a way to share a link to a folder rather having to create a separate collection. I also wish I could change the link expiration setting to automatically default to 'never' rather than '7 days'. Auto tagging can be a bit generic.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can finally break through the content chaos and find things that may have been lost in cracks from disorganized files.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Jasmine,

Thank you for your review. It’s great to hear that Dash’s flexible pricing and ease of use have been a good fit for your business! We're pleased that it’s helping you organize your content and locate assets more effectively.

We appreciate your feedback on sharing and auto-tagging. We do have an item on our customer feedback board about sharing folders - I've posted a link below. Do feel free to vote and comment on this, as we use this information to decide what we build next :)

Cheers,
Barney

  ### 34. Everything you need

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash is a great option for medium size or scale businesses looking for a modern DAM that is easy to use, has all of the features you need and none that you don't. The transition from our existing (enterprise level) DAM was easy and relatively painless. Price feels about right for what it offers vs other options

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

No major red flags. Sometimes load speeds haven't been great, but this is on occasion rather than permanently. Would love the system to combine different file formats for the same asset, but not a major gripe and may be coming.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping to ensure the wider business has access to up to date, brand aligned assets.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thanks for the review! We’re so glad to hear that moving away from an enterprise DAM to Dash has gone well for you and the team :)

Appreciate the feedback on load speeds. While this happens rarely with Dash, it's something the team take seriously and are working on otpimising - thank you for bringing it to our attention! As for combining different file formats for the same asset, that’s a great suggestion! I've passed this suggestion on to our development team.

Thanks again!

Best wishes,
Barney

  ### 35. Reasonable Learning Curve, Nice Interface and Great DAM Features, Superb Help/Support System.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

I like the features that allow me to organize and attribute my data as I like. Once this is done, the filtering process and tools are great. Editing data within the system is easy and intuitive. There is a simple import mechanism using CSV formatted files that help with bulk editing, or bulk importing needs (an export CSV feature that users can initiate directly would make it better). Using Dash for our DAM keeps it simple for our users so our data and images actually get used! The Help and Support system are very good. I was surprised and impressed by the ability to quickly get good answers through their AI chat help system as I went through the learning curve. Dash can integrate with many other related systems such as Canva, Shopify, Kalvio, and others. Shopify integration is great as you have essentially the full interface and features to work with while you are in your Shopify back-end. Canva integration is limited and not as useful as a result. Overall, we are very happy with Dash. Thanks!

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The most significant problem with Dash for us is the tiny data volumes in their tiered subscriptions. To me, the scale and relative data limit sizes are out of touch with the realities of storage needs for imagery files, especially video files in a DAM. This is especially true as they advertise that Dash is a low-cost DAM. It is low-cost compared to others, but you are likely to outgrow a 10GB data tier quickly. Even the 200GB tier is not a large volume these days. If costs are truly critical, be careful and purge old or obsolete data (if you are not interested in keeping historical or archived data in the DAM, that is), and be sure to empty the trash bin as that counts towards your data use. If video files are your primary assets, then review your data needs closely.
As I mentioned in what I like about Dash, there is a system for working with CSV files for importing/appending data or exporting, bulk editing, and reimporting data. Currently, the user must request that their data be exported in CSV format via an email or chat request as there is no option to export directly by the user, this I wouldn't say I like as it is limiting to efficient workflows. Also, and this for me is a rather significant problem, as far as I can tell, there is no "Unique ID" that the user can access when working with the CSV formatted data in the a spreadsheet, or true database system. One must use a field that allows duplicates (such as "filename") to map the imported data back into the records in Dash. Of course, Dash has its own internal Unique ID field, but it is not used or available to users. The workaround, of course, is to just be careful and ensure you do not have duplicates on the match field you chose to use as your Unique ID field.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since Adobe Lightroom is not technically a DAM and does not have decent collaboration features, a real DAM was needed. We used Lightroom for image storage and editing, processing etc. but then once images were exported for the users to utilize in social media, or ads, or email blasts etc. we had a mish-mash of images all over the place in folders on all the different devices and computers. These were not searchable, viewable, nor organized. It was a disaster. Dash gave us a relatively simple way to store and make our assets available to the user directly, including giving us collaboration tools for them to work with. We are a small clothing brand with limited resource and staff, so Dash is a great help to us.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi there, thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a review, we really appreciate it :) I'm glad to hear Dash is working well for you and that you are able to get the support you need quickly and easily when you need it.

Regarding storage pricing, thanks for your feedback. As you've mentioned, our pricing is still very competitive to our competitors, and we only charge by what you use, so you don't have to pre-commit to more storage than you need, saving you a lot of money hopefully! But we are always mindful of our pricing and will take feedback like this onboard.

Regarding the CSV export, we do intend to add this as a self-service option in Dash in the future. You can deal with duplicates in the sheet by using the filesize column to specify the specific file, although I agree an asset ID column might be easier - that is something we are already considering adding :)

Do keep your feedback coming, and if there's anything we can help with please get in touch via the in-app chat :)

  ### 36. It is a beautiful interface and has been very helpful in finding assets

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

I love the AI tagging and the thumbnails.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I struggled with no training and no immediate chat support.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It used to take us forever to search for photos/videos etc to use on our social or email campaigns. Colleagues would waste hours searching through google drive. The thumbnails and th etagging has made it much easier and quicker to find appropriate assets.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thanks for your review! Great to hear you're saving your colleagues hours of time they'd usually spend going through Google Drive.

We have a self-paced training academy you can work through, which I've linked below. And there's also in-app chat support if you wanted to chat to a person! Do get in touch if there's anything we can help you with.

Cheers,
Barney

Its very intuitive and easy to use. I think end users will find navigating through it a breeze and little to no training will be required.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I think the programme is still a bit buggy and there are a few UX niggles that could be ironed out. Also would love for more customization options.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to easily search for content.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Byran,

Thank you for leaving us a review! Really happy to hear you think you'll be able to get up and going with Dash without training - that's music to our ears :)

Sorry to hear you've experienced some issues. Please do get in touch with us about these, and your feedback on the UX - we're always looking to improve so we'd appreciate your feedback!

All the best,
Barney

  ### 38. Good digital asset management tool

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash has one of the best tagging asset management tool with good integration capabilities

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Mobility functions needs improvement . Reporting takes some time

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking all the digital assets in a single solution

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi there, thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a review, we really appreciate it :) It is great to hear our integrations and tagging system is working well for you!

Reporting is definitely something we are planning to improve. Please do visit our Ideas Hub and vote/comment on the feature request for it so we can hear exactly what you would like to see (I've added a link below).

Regarding mobile, we have designed Dash to be fully responsive on mobile, and the mobile site supports all functionality. If there are any specific things you'd like to see improved on mobile, please do let us know! Just raise an idea, or vote/comment on an existing one on our Ideas Hub, or get in touch with us using the in-app chat and we'll be happy to discuss your feedback :)

  ### 39. Great platform and support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Booking digital asset management often involves a great deal of effort. The DASH team is always easy to reach and open to all suggestions and feature requests. Price/performance is very good compared to other providers. The entry costs are a barrier with many providers and the sister product "Asset Bank". DASH is easy to test and can be used almost out-of-the-box.
I also like the fact that it can be used in WordPress. Transferring the assets and tags from our website references also worked very well.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The fact that it can be used out-of-the-box can be a barrier if you have special requirements for a customised solution. But then there is the sister product Asset Bank, which you can easily switch to.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With thousands assets, the search can contain a large number of results, which makes it difficult to get an overview. For me, there are still too few options for grouping the search results. The support team is taking this seriously and will inform me about the developers' roadmap so that I know what they want to implement to improve this.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, glad to hear you're finding Dash good value for money!

We've designed Dash so you can get up and running with it fast. But everyone can get a free onboarding call with our team! And if you have any specific requirements we can't meet yet, do let us know - we use customer feedback to decide what we build next :)

All the best,
Barney

  ### 40. Dash is great!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cole S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Dash?**

What we like about Dash is the immense amount of features, which includes every feature they have, at every price point. The features they offer are easy to understand and easy to get people up to speed on. Some of the features (i.e. the portals) give you the ability to explore some very interesting use cases. Customer support has also been great. Getting all of our content into Dash was also a breeze.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The auto-tagging is not great, and the overall search features they have to offer leave something to be desired. Making things easy to find for people who do not use Dash as often requires a little bit of leg work.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves content distribution to some of our different stakeholders through our sales/marketing teams and we make some portals available through different methods like links at events and our app.

Our most unique use case is our app. We have external links within the our app that brings a user to our portal. There we have all of our content we see fit for that user available to them, making it easy for them to print, download, or save that content. This also gives us complete control to update these documents and change the experience without having to go through the pain of updating our app.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Cole,

Thank you so much for this review! Really appreciate the detail - both the positive and the constructive feedback. It's great to hear how easy you've found it using Dash and we'd love to hear more about how portals means you can explore some interesting use cases!

Appreciate the feedback on auto-tagging. You can adjust the accuracy of auto-tagging in the 'admin' section. Searching for assets should be working better for you, so one of our customer success team will be in touch to help out.

All the best,
Barney

  ### 41. Great tool for DAMs

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ezra V. | Stage Production Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

I like the tagging and searchability function! It's really helpful for organizing a lot of my photo content that's cross-functional and cross-departmental. I use it frequently to stay on top of content collection.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Tagging bulk uploads can take a bit of time.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Dash to pull all of our photos into one space instead of searching for them in 100's of different folders and drives. The caregivers at our animal sanctuary take so many great photos, and we're able to keep all of them in one place using Dash.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Ezra,

Thank you for your review! Great to hear you're using Dash to stay on top of your content collection :)

Appreciate your feedback on tagging bulk uploads. We'd be more than happy to hear more about that - if you like, feel free to chat to us or pop your idea onto our feedback board (linked below) where other users can vote on it, too.

Thanks again! All the best,
Barney

  ### 42. Simple interface

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Simple inteface makes it simple to introduce new users to some of the more basic features.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Some of the slightly more advanced features are sometimes difficult to find or frustrating to use because they've been pushed back in favour of more regularly used features.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All of our brand image library is stored in Dash, and this makes it easier for stakeholder who aren't savvy with cloud storage or design software to see and share assets.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi there, thanks so much for your review :) We really appreciate you taking the time. I'm glad to hear that Dash has helped your colleagues find the assets they need faster and easier.

I'm not sure which advanced features you are referring to, but if you do have feedback on how we are presenting features we'd love to hear it! Just get in touch via the in-app chat and we'll be very happy to discuss :)

  ### 43. New user, already in love

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash is so simple to use and I was up and running in minutes. The support from Dash has also been great. They offer free onboarding and file migration, and have been helpful every step of the way. Dash also costs half what my existing DAM solution costs, with just as many (and even a few extra) features.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Since I've got up and running with Dash, there have been several updates I stumbled upon in the settings, but that didn't get any sort of annoucement or anything. I'd like to see more notifications about updates and changes.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash is giving small marketing teams the tools they need aggregate and easliy find all of the assets, no matter the filetype.

  ### 44. Good software - super helpful for downloading custom sized images

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin N. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Downloading/scaling/cropping images is a breeze. The #1 use our team has for it is downloading the same image in different dimensions for our ecommerce website.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I dislike the pricing model based on downloads. It incentivizes my team to keep track of downloaded assets and reuse them instead of searching for and downloading assets from the cloud through the DAM. I would rather get priced by GB/Assets/Users etc.

We don't store any video on Dash, and instead use another software because it just gets too expensive too quickly.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash provides a single easy to access place to store all of our images and visual assets (other than video)

**Official Response from Lea Perrino:**

> Hey Kevin, thanks so much for leaving a review! It is great to hear that you find Dash helpful for downloading and customizing images for your ecommerce website.

Thank you for sharing your concerns about the pricing model being based around a monthly download limit. Just to clarify the download limit - while each plan comes with a number of monthly downloads, we'll never block downloads or usage. If you need more downloads, you get one month grace. If you go over your limits two months in a row, that shows you need more downloads and we'll increase your plan. We charge on downloads as that represents when the asset is actually put to use in the world, and therefore where you get value from it.

If you are interested in discussing your usage of Dash and finding ways to make Dash even more helpful for you and the team, just get in touch via the in-app chat and we'll be happy to help!

  ### 45. Great customer experience and perfectly good asset bank

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

The best thing about Dash is their customer service. They'll take feedback on board and I've seen features added from their commuinity requests. I use Dash almost every day, and find it simple enough to add assets and find what I need.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

There are a few features that are missing that other asset banks have, such as the ability to approve download requests, but it's possible that they'll add these in future.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash allows us to share assets across the business and with external users and manage a large bank of creative assets.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi there, thanks so much for leaving us a review! It is really great to hear how we've been able to support you. As you mentioned, our roadmap is influenced strongly by our Dash community feedback, so it is great to hear you've seen the results of that!

Download approvals has definitely been asked for before (feature request linked to below), so feel free to vote and comment on this if you haven't already. In the meantime, depending on your specific needs, you might be able achieve your goals using permissions to control which users can view which assets. Just get in touch via the in-app chat if you'd like to explore this further.

  ### 46. Steadily improving

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diane K. | Graphic Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

We started using Dash when it was a new resource, and the company has been very responsive to suggested improvements and because of this, it has grown with us as an asset tool. It's very easy to search and navigate.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The auto tagging is quite humorous. I also miss the smart tagging of people.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to make our digital assets searchable and accessible to a large group of in office users and contractors. As we progress from servers and VPNs, this makes it so we can provide access to assets without creating holes in our security.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi Diane, thanks so much for leaving us a review :) It is great that Dash has evolved with you and continued to support you.

I've never heard the tagging be described as humorous before! I hope it is still useful for you. Indeed, we wish we could offer facial recognition but the legal landscape surrounding storing personal data like faces has become increasingly complex. Maybe we'll be able to re-add it in the future.

If you have any other feedback for us, please do get in touch via the in-app chat and we'll be happy to listen :)

  ### 47. Simple and easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Being able to upload assets easily and has great tagging features. It's clear and user-friendly. Perfect to share with externals too.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Wish there was more customisation options within each folders or collections

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to view all assets in one place and has great filters to sort out files

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thank you for leaving us a review! It's great to hear you're finding Dash easy to use, and you're using it to share with your external partners. Is that through a portal? I'd recommend checking them out if you haven't already :)

Thanks for your suggestion re: more customisation options for folders and collections. Would you mind letting us know what you'd like to see? You can contact us in-app through the chat at any point, would be great to hear your feedback.

Thanks again! All the best,
Barney

  ### 48. Helpful tool on a budget

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Helpful tagging, separation, and storage of photos! Easy searching by colleagues across the company. Good price point vs other options.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Not as dynamic as other DAMs & CS team not super responsive when help is needed.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Storage, tagging, and searching of assets.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi there, and thanks so much for you review! It is great to hear of the ways Dash is helping you.

I'm really sorry to hear you've had a poor experience receiving support. We pride ourselves on ~10 minute response times for all chats (within UK office hours) so something must have gone quite wrong when you got in touch and I'm sorry about that. I hope next time we can demonstrate what our usual excellent support looks like!

If there is anything we can add to Dash to make it bring even more value to you, please do vote and comment on ideas in our Ideas Hub, which I've linked to below.

**Reviewed by:** michael k. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Online, secure, structured downloading for partners.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Nothing at the moment., we are in the eary syages of data migration.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

versions, permissioned access, time zone elimination

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Michael,

Thanks for your review, much appreciated. And nice one making the switch from Dropbox! Hope your onboarding goes well, I know you'll be in safe hands :)

Best wishes,
Barney

  ### 50. Great product!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicole S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Love how inexpensive it is relative to other products and does just about everything we need. Customer support is also great.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Occasionally the UX can be difficult to use, but overall it's great.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to search through the content I need way more quickly through the search function.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Nicole,

Thanks so much for leaving us a review! Great to hear you're finding Dash good value for money and our CS team are taking good care of you!

Would love to know more about the UX comments, would you be up for sending us some feedback? We're always looking for ways we can improve :)

All the best,
Barney
