## About Dash
Dash is an affordable digital asset management (DAM) tool for ecommerce brands, with pricing starting at $109 per month. It gives marketing and creative teams one clear place to store, organise, and use their brand content. If you’re using Google Drive or Dropbox to manage creative, things get messy fast. Files are hard to find, links break, and teams waste time searching instead of launching work. Dash is built to fix that. With Dash, all your brand assets live in one place — from product photography and campaign creative to influencer content and UGC. You can upload files directly or collect content using upload links, so creators, agencies, and partners can send work without needing access. Once files are in, your team can approve content or leave feedback before it’s used. Dash makes assets easy to find as your library grows. Images are automatically tagged using AI, and you can add your own custom fields like product line, campaign, usage rights, or photographer. That means less digging through folders and more time actually using your creative. When it’s time to launch, Dash helps you move faster. Resize and crop images directly in the platform, download them ready for different marketing channels, or push product images straight into your Shopify listings. Dash also makes sharing simple. Your retail partners need access to your product creative. Rather than dealing with individual requests and WeTransfer files, set up custom branded portals for them. Your retailers can find the assets they need easily, without needing to come through you. Dash helps ecommerce teams to: Store all brand creative in one organised place Collect content from creators and partners without the chaos Find assets quickly using AI tags and custom fields Prepare images for marketing and ecommerce channels Get creative into the hands of your retail partners Share approved assets externally without extra admin Dash includes unlimited users and all features on every plan, so teams don’t have to manage seats or upgrades as they grow. It’s used by ecommerce brands that want less time hunting for files — and more time getting creative work out into the world.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Furniture | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash is both intuitive and easy to use. It offers the best value for what a DAM should be without unnecessary features that won't be used. Constant communication is key and it is obvious that the people behind Dash want you to ahve the best customer experience. It's integration with our website also automates resizing of images on import.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Based on my needs, it perfectly fits the requirements.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Putting assets into a system that can easily be searched and tagged accordingly.

  ### 2. Great tool for sharing approved images and videos

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gina G. | Strategic Communications & Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

This tool is fantastic for us to be able to search through our bank of photos and videos to find suitable ones for designs, website and social media use. We also use it track consent for content. Integrates easily with Canva. Love that external photographers can upload directly to the system.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Some of the auto-tags aren't very effective and can take a while to remove them.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to search through our photos and videos to find specific images, and also to tag images with names and consent status.

  ### 3. Great app for managing assets

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lily A. | Senior Digital Creative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

It's so easy to use and find assets quickly and efficiently. The best part is, you can manage what people upload to ensure assets are tagged and sorted correctly.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I can't think of anything that is bad about it!

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us keep assets organised. There isn't any duplicated assets. Our company is now very clear on what assets can and can't be used. Really easy to monitor who is using what.

  ### 4. Fantastic tool for storing, organising and downloading content for a variety of platforms

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dave C. | Marketplace Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

I log into and use Dash every day - and it's so easy to use, organise and download images for a variety of purposes.

Great being able to pre-set dimensions and crops for each of the different platforms where images are required. Any time I've had an issue and reached out to support they've been really helpful and resolved problems swiftly.

Would definitely recommend.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

As of yet I've not really come across any downsides - as mentioned, any problems we've had have been resolved quickly!

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organising and tagging images made easy. Downloading pre-set image crops and sizes saves so much time and effort.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Dave,

Thanks so much for your review! It's great to hear you're finding it much easier to organise your visuals and get them ready for your campaigns now :) If you do have any feedback or suggestions for how we can improve, just let us know!

Cheers,
Barney

  ### 5. Best Digital Asset Management System on the market!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maddy A. | Multimedia, Marketing, and Special Events Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash is very user friendly, approachable in price, and easy to store your assets and share them with other team members.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

As of now, there is nothing to dislike! Very easy to use and effective for our brand.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash keeps an organized filing system of all of our assets in an easily sharable format for our remote team rebuilding our website.

  ### 6. Perfect for Simplifying Our Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rahul M. | DevOps Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

We wanted a budget-friendly solution for our non-profit, and Dash gives us all the important features without extra stuff we don’t need. It’s easy to use, and moving our images over was simple. Features like automatic tagging and ready-made image sizes have made organizing and sharing images much quicker and easier.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Dash is easy to use and does what we need. The auto-tagging can be a bit much, but you can fix that. The search works well, but if you don’t clear it, it stays on and can be a bit confusing.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash makes it easy for us to manage our images. It helps us find and organize pictures quickly, cutting down search time from hours to seconds. The tagging system keeps us from using the same designs over and over and boosts our creativity. Overall, Dash saves us time and helps us work better, so we can focus on our tasks instead of looking for files.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi Rahul, thanks so much for leaving us a review! It is great to hear how Dash has helped your business, and that features you've mentioned have improved your workflows. I'm glad you've found how to make searching and tagging work for you - if you ever have any other questions or would like advice, do get in touch via our in-app chat :)

  ### 7. Great tool for our company!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

It's easy to use and offers all the features you need to streamline media sharing internally and with partners outside yoru business.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Not the prettiest display of media, could be a bit more aesthetic

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamline sharing of media to different partners outside our organisation without having to create separate folders for them each time. Ensure that whatever media is on the platform has already been approved to use and share avoiding using outdated or low quality content. The tags are also very helpful to organise everything making it much easier/quicker to find specific images we're looking for.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi there, thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a review, we really appreciate it :) It is great to hear Dash offers the features you need and that it has enabled you to easier collaborate with your partners!

Regarding the aesthetics of how we display images, we'd love to learn more about how Dash could do better here. One way to let us know is to submit a feature request in our Ideas Hub (link below), or alternatively just get in touch and let us know via the in-app chat and we'll be happy to hear and take onboard your feedback :)

  ### 8. Easy to Use at a Great Pricepoint

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jasmine B. | Marketing & Social Media Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

I am so glad we picked DASH as our DAM. As a seasonl company, we loved the flexible pricing and how easy it was to use on Day 1.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I wish there was a way to share a link to a folder rather having to create a separate collection. I also wish I could change the link expiration setting to automatically default to 'never' rather than '7 days'. Auto tagging can be a bit generic.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can finally break through the content chaos and find things that may have been lost in cracks from disorganized files.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Jasmine,

Thank you for your review. It’s great to hear that Dash’s flexible pricing and ease of use have been a good fit for your business! We're pleased that it’s helping you organize your content and locate assets more effectively.

We appreciate your feedback on sharing and auto-tagging. We do have an item on our customer feedback board about sharing folders - I've posted a link below. Do feel free to vote and comment on this, as we use this information to decide what we build next :)

Cheers,
Barney

  ### 9. Everything you need

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash is a great option for medium size or scale businesses looking for a modern DAM that is easy to use, has all of the features you need and none that you don't. The transition from our existing (enterprise level) DAM was easy and relatively painless. Price feels about right for what it offers vs other options

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

No major red flags. Sometimes load speeds haven't been great, but this is on occasion rather than permanently. Would love the system to combine different file formats for the same asset, but not a major gripe and may be coming.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping to ensure the wider business has access to up to date, brand aligned assets.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thanks for the review! We’re so glad to hear that moving away from an enterprise DAM to Dash has gone well for you and the team :)

Appreciate the feedback on load speeds. While this happens rarely with Dash, it's something the team take seriously and are working on otpimising - thank you for bringing it to our attention! As for combining different file formats for the same asset, that’s a great suggestion! I've passed this suggestion on to our development team.

Thanks again!

Best wishes,
Barney

  ### 10. Fast, efficient DAM system for our needs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash is an inuitive and powerful DAM system which provides excellent value for money. Its interface and feature set makes it not only an efficient resource for power users like our design and marketing teams to quickly access the assets they need, but other less frequent users in our business also find it easy to use without training. The ability to show certain folders to groups of users also helps to minimise search clutter for users who don't need access to every asset in our account. Likewise, it's also simple to share assets with external stakeholders outside of our account and I like the ability to set an expiry time on these links.

Transitioning from our previous DAM platform was relatively fast and easy, thanks to the helpful onboarding training and setup guidance which was included as standard with our plan - unlike most other DAM solutions we researched.

I also like that we receive regular updates on new features and improvements and we can submit our own ideas for improvements, something our previous DAM system lacked.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

There's not much to dislike! With our previous DAM platform, we could collate similar variants of an asset into a singular asset container, e.g. grouping colour and mono variants of something like a logo or icon, which did help reduce search clutter. However, we are using Dash's custom field functionality to give users the ability to easily filter on the colourspace options they need.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability for anyone in our organisation to quickly and easily find the creative assets they need. We have used both Google Drive and another, larger-scale DAM system but both of these had drawbacks. Dash feels like a perfect fit for our organisation's needs.

  ### 11. Great tool for my business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William C. | MD, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Ease of use, version control, accessibility

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

More features than we need, but really nothing negative to say

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gives the business easy access to the right up to date materials.

  ### 12. Easy onboarding and user friendly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

We needed an app that could help us manage images taken and uploaded from a variety of sources, and we needed it from day to day. Dash worked great for us, as it was very quick to onboard and explain to users, worked out of the box, and was intuitive by design. The customer support has been on point, and were ready to answer the few questions we had about the app.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

There wasn't much possibility of customising the look of the online gallery, to integrate it seemlessly into the design of our own website. Would be great to see more of this in the future.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Online gallery to showcase photos from events

  ### 13. Excellent DAM system that meets all of our needs!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Having assessed a number of DAM systems before onboarding Dash, it immediately stood out as the front runner for the following reasons:

- Very intuative
- User friendly/uncomplicated
- Excellent level of service provided throughout the onboarding process, and beyond.

Transferring the hundreds of images we hold on file onto the Dash was quite a daunting thought, however the process has been very straight forward, and pain free. The auto tagging has worked perfectly and the ability to 'group' controlled tags speeds up the process immensely.

We're really impressed with the number of features available. Being able to invite photographers and external agencies to upload & download images directly (with the added benefit of adding in an approval stage so that we can vet any uploaded images before they 'go live' on Dash) gives us the control we need.

We also love that our Social Media team and designers can download images to 'pre-set' sizes - again a massive time saver!

We are finally able to offer the wider business a central place to be able to access and easily search on a plethora of images!

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

We're yet to find anything that we dislike about Dash

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy access to all 'approved' images both internally and externally - cutting out time spent searching for images and then having to manually share with stakeholders and suppliers.
One source of truth - avoids 'unapproved' or out of date images being used.
Reduction in storage space on our Sharepoint drive, which is where images have been predominantly stored (a big bonus for us!)
A space to store and share Brand assets

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi there, thanks so much for your glowing review :) It is great to hear that we've struck a good balance between features and ease of use, and are able to offer support for the various workflows you've mentioned.

If there ever is anything we can do to help, or anything new you'd like to use Dash for, do get in touch via the in-app chat and we'll be happy to help :)

  ### 14. Really user-friendly platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Everything feels very smooth and slick. The platforms includes a wide range of features that work and the support is quick and helpful, too.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Very little. I think the tagging could be improved by better AI, but I'm sure that will come in time.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speed of accessing and sharing images with colleagues.

  ### 15. Intuitive digital asset management tool - essential for any marketing team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy B. | Senior Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash is super intuitive and easy to use. We rely on it daily to quickly source visual assets for many different projects and use cases. The interface is well-designed, logical and straightforward.

It was very easy to set up when we began using the platform, with comprehensive onboarding support provided by the Dash team. Our team members were up and running on the platform successfully within a day or two.

I like the personalisation options — for example, setting pre-set download sizes to align to your CMS fields; adding header images and brand colours; creating your own folder structures and tags; setting different permission levels across users.

I have rarely needed to reach out to customer support, but on the occasions where I have, the responses have always been quick and helpful.

As we've increased our bank of owned imagery, stock imagery and other visual assets, the platform has been able to grow with us to meet our additional requirements.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The AI auto-tagging feature can sometimes be inaccurate (e.g. misgendering image subjects) or add lots of overly generic tagging that can clog up search results (e.g. man, table, paper, glasses). I'd prefer this to be optional for imports, as you waste time manually removing tags.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows our team members to quickly source imagery and other visual assets for use on websites, social media, slide decks, and other digital outputs. The main benefit is the huge time savings from not having to trawl through badly organised Google Drive folders to find what you are looking for! We also maintain control over the quality of all visual assets used on external channels by pointing team members to Dash as the single approved asset bank.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi Amy, thanks so much for your detailed review, we really appreciate it and value the insights. It is great to hear that onboarding went well and Dash has been able to support your needs as they have evolved.

Regarding the auto-tagging, this can indeed be disabled from Admin > Intelligence. You can toggle it off, or you can use a different field for it, to keep auto-tags separate from manually-entered tags. You can also increase the 'accuracy' setting, which will reduce the number of tags created, in exchange for a higher accuracy rate.

If you need any further help with any of this, just get in touch via the in-app chat and we'll be happy to help.

  ### 16. Easy to set-up, easy to use and powerful search

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darren O. | Marketing and Digital Strategy Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Ease of implementation/use and no need to train either brand/supplier side uploading to the portal or customers downloading. Auto Tags are the critical element for us, forget old style file structure or folders, if you create and manage your tags, everything else comes together easily. Accuracy of search/filtering by Auto Tag is supper efficient and acurate. The download formating is really helpful and means that we only need one large/high resolution version of an image and it is simple to save down as optimised/sized social or web versions.
Great value for money when compared to other solutions.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

We are always looking for more insight and a frustrating element is that we cannot simply download a file listing our current files, names, file size autotags etc.. This has to be requested from customer support which is inefficient. The AI element is interesting and useful, but needs some improvement on acuracy.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash makes finding the correct image/asset easy and saves a ton of time when compared to our previous Sharepoint storage solution. Our internal marketing team, and sales support team love the solution and we have just started rolling out the portals to specific customers.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi Darren, thanks so much for your detailed feedback :) It is great to hear you've been able to use Dash with your partners without having to train them!

Regarding the metadata export, this is definitely something we intend to add to Dash so users can generate this themselves without needing to ask support. Until then, we always provide the metadata exports as quickly as possible (usually within half an hour) to avoid disruption.

  ### 17. Dash is an excellent platform to manage your organizational assets.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pranav R. | Sr. Content Writer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Very clean UI, easy to understand, implement & use.
Dash gives admins a good few features to ensure content & its consumers adhere to org. policies.
Search & filter functionality is excellent.
Shareability is enhanced by collections & portals.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Lacks the ability to browse through content on the site (esp. for PPTs).
This is understandable, as it was built as an image-first platform. Also requires a better analytics tool - need to see who is viewing what kind of content, perhaps for what amount of time, how many (and which) collections is a particular file added to, etc.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash is de-siloing content creation & sharing.
It is helping move on from Google Drive as a rudimentary & fairly clunky method of storage.

Further, Dash is helping with version control - something hard to enforce on Google Suite.

Another good functionality is shareability - anyone can share any material with simple link sharing (expiry customizable).

All of the above are helping organize our content efforts, and enable our sales team to share content effortlessly.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Pranav,

Thank you for leaving us a review! It's great to hear that you're enjoying our UI and finding it easy to search for your content :)

Thanks very much for your suggestions too. We're looking into better analytics currently so should have something more to share on that soon.

All the best,
Barney

  ### 18. Reasonable Learning Curve, Nice Interface and Great DAM Features, Superb Help/Support System.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

I like the features that allow me to organize and attribute my data as I like. Once this is done, the filtering process and tools are great. Editing data within the system is easy and intuitive. There is a simple import mechanism using CSV formatted files that help with bulk editing, or bulk importing needs (an export CSV feature that users can initiate directly would make it better). Using Dash for our DAM keeps it simple for our users so our data and images actually get used! The Help and Support system are very good. I was surprised and impressed by the ability to quickly get good answers through their AI chat help system as I went through the learning curve. Dash can integrate with many other related systems such as Canva, Shopify, Kalvio, and others. Shopify integration is great as you have essentially the full interface and features to work with while you are in your Shopify back-end. Canva integration is limited and not as useful as a result. Overall, we are very happy with Dash. Thanks!

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The most significant problem with Dash for us is the tiny data volumes in their tiered subscriptions. To me, the scale and relative data limit sizes are out of touch with the realities of storage needs for imagery files, especially video files in a DAM. This is especially true as they advertise that Dash is a low-cost DAM. It is low-cost compared to others, but you are likely to outgrow a 10GB data tier quickly. Even the 200GB tier is not a large volume these days. If costs are truly critical, be careful and purge old or obsolete data (if you are not interested in keeping historical or archived data in the DAM, that is), and be sure to empty the trash bin as that counts towards your data use. If video files are your primary assets, then review your data needs closely.
As I mentioned in what I like about Dash, there is a system for working with CSV files for importing/appending data or exporting, bulk editing, and reimporting data. Currently, the user must request that their data be exported in CSV format via an email or chat request as there is no option to export directly by the user, this I wouldn't say I like as it is limiting to efficient workflows. Also, and this for me is a rather significant problem, as far as I can tell, there is no "Unique ID" that the user can access when working with the CSV formatted data in the a spreadsheet, or true database system. One must use a field that allows duplicates (such as "filename") to map the imported data back into the records in Dash. Of course, Dash has its own internal Unique ID field, but it is not used or available to users. The workaround, of course, is to just be careful and ensure you do not have duplicates on the match field you chose to use as your Unique ID field.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since Adobe Lightroom is not technically a DAM and does not have decent collaboration features, a real DAM was needed. We used Lightroom for image storage and editing, processing etc. but then once images were exported for the users to utilize in social media, or ads, or email blasts etc. we had a mish-mash of images all over the place in folders on all the different devices and computers. These were not searchable, viewable, nor organized. It was a disaster. Dash gave us a relatively simple way to store and make our assets available to the user directly, including giving us collaboration tools for them to work with. We are a small clothing brand with limited resource and staff, so Dash is a great help to us.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi there, thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a review, we really appreciate it :) I'm glad to hear Dash is working well for you and that you are able to get the support you need quickly and easily when you need it.

Regarding storage pricing, thanks for your feedback. As you've mentioned, our pricing is still very competitive to our competitors, and we only charge by what you use, so you don't have to pre-commit to more storage than you need, saving you a lot of money hopefully! But we are always mindful of our pricing and will take feedback like this onboard.

Regarding the CSV export, we do intend to add this as a self-service option in Dash in the future. You can deal with duplicates in the sheet by using the filesize column to specify the specific file, although I agree an asset ID column might be easier - that is something we are already considering adding :)

Do keep your feedback coming, and if there's anything we can help with please get in touch via the in-app chat :)

  ### 19. Dash has changed our asset organization for the better!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Dash?**

How easy it is to find assets. We were previously using Google Drive, and it was not ideal for the amount of content we have. Dash has made finding photos SO easy!

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Tagging photos is time consuming, would be nice if you offered some help with that.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash is making it easy to search for and organize our digital assets.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Macyn,

Thanks for your lovely review. And welcome to life after Google Drive! :)

Totally hear you with tagging photos. We actually have something coming which should help with that - watch this space!

Best wishes,

  ### 23. A great light weight DAM that hits all the main marks.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gary K. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

We implemented Dash a little over a year ago and found it to be a simple and straightforward process. It's given us control over our assets in a nice package. Some good things about Dash.

- Easy to implement
- Has integrations into popular systems
- Auto tags assets (mostly useful)
- Custom meta data for each asset so we can mark it as internal vs external etc
- Ability to upload a new version of a asset without the link changing (We host some of our website assets and can update without searching our site for each link)
- Responsive customer service. I've had to reach out with questions and have gotten quick and helpful replies. Most of the time it's a feature I didn't know about, but occasionally it's a new idea and then gets added to their feature request forum.
- The ability to make public and private portals to share content so you don't have to add each person as a user

Overall if you want a good to the point digital asset managment system at a reasonable price. Dash is it.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

There are some rough edges. A few that stick out

- Not all file types have full previews on the site. PPTs for example only show the preview of the 1st slide. To view other slides you have to download
- Some of the features are a bit hidden requiring digging (Making meta data visiable in a portal)
- Portals don't have a "save password" option

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our files were stored in Sharepoint. They were hard to access (tons of different access levels and files scattered in personal drives) and hard to preview. Dash has helped us create repositories of our visual assets in easy to find and tag groups.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Gary,

Thanks for your lovely, detailed review! Really appreciate you taking the time to write this, and it's great to hear how much use you're getting out of Dash.

Also appreciate the feedback on how we can improve, thank you! I'll take these to the product team, sound like good suggestions to me :)

All the best,
Barney

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily H. | Sr. Director, Brand Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Uploading content is so easy and fast, especially with the help of the AI tags and renaming tools. I like the various views you can use to see content instead of having to search folder by folder. It's very easy to use and will be easy to get started and share with our internal and external partners.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

As far as I know, there are no ways to hide or restrict certain pieces of content from use but I have more to explore on this.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash keeps everything in one place and allows us to categorize, tag, and retire assets that are no longer usable. This will ensure consistency across the board.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Thanks so much for your review Emily! It is great to hear that the extra ways of finding assets, compared to folder-based browsing, have made your life easier :)

You can indeed restrict access to assets. You can use permissions to control which assets can be viewed by who, and you can also use custom fields to indicate to users how assets can be used. If you'd like any help with this, just get in touch using the in-app chat :)

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I struggled with no training and no immediate chat support.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It used to take us forever to search for photos/videos etc to use on our social or email campaigns. Colleagues would waste hours searching through google drive. The thumbnails and th etagging has made it much easier and quicker to find appropriate assets.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

  ### 29. The Smart Choice for Asset Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saurabh T. | Assistant Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash improves digital asset management with powerful features and a simple setup. It’s easy to use, helping us quickly find visual assets for our projects every day. The clear design makes navigation a breeze.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The auto tagging feature isn’t very good, and the search options could be improved.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash helps us keep our brand consistent and shows how important strong branding is for everyone in the organization. It gives small marketing teams the tools to easily collect and find all types of assets.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi Saurabh, many thanks for taking the time to leave us a review, we really appreciate it :)

I'm glad to hear the user experience of Dash allowed you to get set up and getting value from it quickly! We'd love to hear your feedback regarding how we could improve auto-tagging. We are already testing out some improvements to this which we could discuss with you. Just get in touch via the in-app chat and we'll be happy to help.

  ### 30. We use Dash for 2 organisations under our group!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amber S. | Media and Content Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Streamlined, aesthetic, super easy to navigate and love the sharing abilities on the platform

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

We would love to be able to change thumbnails on the videos, as we have many similar videos with the same footage.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Everyone in the team can use it. We use it now for 2 of our businesses. The upload process is simple, and we love the fact we can share assets through collections - we use this feature ALOT! It solves many problems as we don't use anything else, so everything creative we do as a business, including all branding, goes here. Making it easier for team members to find things and massively reduces the need to ask where to find things, etc.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Amber,

Thank you for your lovely review! Great to hear you've been enjoying Dash so much that you're now using it in two businesses :D

Thanks for your suggestion re: thumbnails too, I'll see what we can do about that.

All the best and thanks again!
Barney

  ### 31. Perfect for small-medium Not For profits (and more too...)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rich T. | International Brand & Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Great set of features, access controls, filtering and processing of assets and team members. So glad to have all our photos and videos safely and securely stored in the cloud and available to send to our internationally-based team immediately. Excellent cost compared to other tools which made it a simple choice to go with Dash. Server uploads are a huge benefit to us which speeds up (and improves reliability) of large uploads

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Misses a few of the more powerful AI tools like facial recognition, speech-to-text transcription but nothing that was a deal-breaker for us. Would be nice to be able to block downloads of certain assets (make them visible to the team but un-downloadable.)

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash solves the problem of making large amounts of assets available to a worldwide-based, remote working team, and having a single-source of each file, rather than a version on each person's computer via OneDrive, two copies on external hard drives and then more copies when sent out to external designers and editors. Now everything is secure, in one place and can be managed by a team member giving access to the right files to people.

As we work with more national teams, connected organisdations, external video editors and designers, Dash is enabling us to centralise our content and share access as far and wide as we need to. Our digital assets including photos, unedited and edited video, brand elements, UGC and promotional material has never been more organised and has saved coutless days of finding content, copying, uploading and downloading from WeTransfer or Google Drive and posting hard drives to video editors. Dash has meant that our internal and external growth hasn't been restricted by getting what we need to the right people.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Thanks for your review Rich! Great to hear how much Dash has helped you and your business :)

We did unfortunately have to remove our facial recognition feature, like so many other businesses have done, due to the complicated and risky legal landscape regarding processing biometric data globally. If we find a way to bring this back in future, we will!

Speech-to-text transcription sounds like a great idea. Would you like to suggest it in our Ideas Hub? I've included a link to this below.

For a read-only view, please do vote and comment on this idea: https://feedback.dash.app/b/8my8jo07/feature-ideas/view-only-permission. The problem with this is that if a user can see an image on their screen, they can screenshot it, so restricting downloads doesn't have as much impact as would be liked. But there are benefits, e.g. restricting downloading of custom/full sizes.

  ### 32. Easy to use and great price

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash is super easy to use, bringing togtehr all our images in one place with a search feature and relevant tags has reduced the amount of work searching for images. The system was easy to implement and integrate into our daily flows. We so far have over 2k files uplaoded and our now using the system daily to manage images and have started asking suppliers to uplaod directly into the system.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

There is nothing to dislike! It's an eveolving system so still imporving and will continue to get better with each update.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a ton of imges all saved in different folders, that weren't searchable and with no version control it. The amrketing team spend a lot of time searching and sending images to customers and sales. Dash allows us to ahve all image sin one place. tagged and categoriesd and create self serev portals for customers and sales and remoevs the need for WeTransfer and file sharing services.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thank you for your lovely review! Really happy to hear you had no problems getting Dash set up and integrated into your daily work.

If you have any feedback in the future, do let us know :)

All the best,
Barney

  ### 33. A simple Dam that packs a lot of punch

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Byran F. | Senior Video Producer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Its very intuitive and easy to use. I think end users will find navigating through it a breeze and little to no training will be required.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I think the programme is still a bit buggy and there are a few UX niggles that could be ironed out. Also would love for more customization options.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to easily search for content.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Byran,

Thank you for leaving us a review! Really happy to hear you think you'll be able to get up and going with Dash without training - that's music to our ears :)

Sorry to hear you've experienced some issues. Please do get in touch with us about these, and your feedback on the UX - we're always looking to improve so we'd appreciate your feedback!

  ### 34. Dash is exactly what we were looking for

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Timothy B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash is scalable so you only pay for what you need. Ironically, the low price was the one thing that gave me pause because the competitors were so much higher. The customer service is friendly and personal and they are great with the set-up process. The free trial period gave us plenty of time to make our final decision. I am very happy with the product and use it almost every day.
It is easy to use and quickly handles its job well, Uploads, searches, and browsing are all smooth.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The only feature missing for me is the ability to sort assets chronologically (the date the photo was taken).

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a photographer for a university, Dash makes sharing images with the people who need them quick and easy. The catalog is easy for users to browse and perform keyword/tag searches. The product has a robust automated tag generation ability which makes the search options even better for users.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Timothy,

Thank you for leaving us a review! This was a lovely thing to come into on a Monday morning :) Really glad you're seeing the value of our pricing plan.

You're be pleased to know you already can sort assets chronologically. You just need to add a date custom field (call it 'Date created' for e.g.). Then when you're in the browse view, select the dropdown on the right-hand side which controls how the assets are sorted - you'll be able to sort by your new date field. Hope that helps!

All the best,
Barney

  ### 37. Effortless Image Organization with Dash

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

  ### 38. Amazing platform!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Agustina R. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

The UX and UI is really throurough. It's intuitive and you don't have to be a tech-savy person to understand how to manage an admin role or simply navigate thorough the assets. The design is clean, simple and not overwhelming like other in the market. A lot of features are customizable to each team/company's needs so that is always great to have. The "public view" features can still have some enhancements, but upon checking the company is releasing updates every week so no doubts this will be very complete in no time. Also. shoutout to the DASH support team for being extra so effective and quick to respond our questions. Very happy with this incorporation into our day-to-day work.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

- I think having to change a sub-folder to be a main folder in order to give it a cover imager and then move it back to be a sub-folder is not effective or intuitive. If the customer support team wouldnt have helped me I was not going to guess. Bare in mind Portals work by sharing specific folders with clients or people outside the company so having custom covers to improve the branding and experience for our clients is crucial.
- You can remove the 'download' option from the Portal accesibility settings, but the user can still right click and hit "Save Video as". This was receantly discovered by a client, who now has access to hundreds of free videos without watermark for which he does not own the license. This is a concern for us now as we use the portal as a catalog, not a free stock platfor for clients to download our assets.
- I would love auto-tag to get smarter. We edit out auto.tags on a daily basis that tag our home photos with the same tags "floor" "wall" "table" and we remove them over and over again as they are releventa. I'd be really good that the platform understands what tags are working for us and which to avoid. Not sure if this is a crazy idea, but here it is!

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cnosolidating assets into only 1 platform with proper filters and categorization. The ability to easily share them internally and with our clients by setting different views.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi Agustina, thank you so much for your detailed feedback, it is really appreciated :)

It is so great to hear all the ways Dash has helped. Let me answer your dislikes, and if there is anything I've missed please do get in touch with us via the in-app chat and we'll continue to help you.

- Folder cover images - we are planning some significant improvements to the folder browsing experience, which will include subfolder thumbnails. Watch this space!
- Watermarking in portals - this is definitely something we are interested in adding. "View only" was the first step, which solves many of the issues with sharing, but I appreciate tech-savvy visitors can still find ways around it. Please do vote on the watermarking feature in our Ideas Hub! Link below.
- Smart auto-tags. This is also something we are exploring, so keep an eye out on our product updates, and please do vote on the feature here: https://feedback.dash.app/b/8my8jo07/feature-ideas/account-specific-auto-tagging-which-learns-from-our-own-images-and-tags

I hope this helps. If you do have any questions please do get in touch via the in-app chat and we'll be happy to help :)

It's interface is extremely easy to use by anyone, and the customer service is amazing. I can't imagine us not having something like DASH in our arrenal at this point.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

None that we've encountered so far. It really ticks all of the boxes.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's made it easier for us as a brand to share consistent assets with our customers, and share access internally when videos, images, and brand guidelines are needed.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

  ### 40. Good experience!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Affordable DAM with a lot of features! Very nice UX and a customer service that really wants to find solutions. They added a new feature that I and other users had requested, and kindly asked me to beta test it - i think this really shows they listen to their customers.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The pay-per-download format feels a bit confusing, I always need to double-check what counts or not as a download.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralized media bank for my company.

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi there, thanks so much for leaving us a review! We really appreciate it. I'm glad to hear Dash is working well for you, especially that the recent beta access went down well :)

We are aware of challenges that the download pricing can cause and we are thinking carefully about this to see how we can address these. Rest assured we are listening. **Reviewed by:** Faraaz N. | Senior Marketing Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash is very easy to use, everything is easy to find and upload. Whenever you are stuck the staff are very helpful and willing to solve any problems you may have. You can also integrate several different software’s and link it directly to dash. Dash is also very straight forward for anyone to use and implement. Because Dash is very organised, we tend to use Dash very frequently and tell our partners as well.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

AI should be a new feature in Dash where it can pick where images or videos could be stored.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the amount of Assets and images we receive, Dash allows us to store them in orgnaised place which we can archive or use. This makes it easy for us and new team members understand and find assets that they may need.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Faraaz,

Thank you for your review! Great to hear how easy you're finding Dash to use :) Really appreciate you taking the time to write this for us.

Your AI suggestion sounds very interesting. Do you mean when you upload an asset, you'd like AI to recommend which folder and/or which tags should be added to it? Do feel free to chat to us about this in-app, we'd love to hear more.

All the best,

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The expense as there are cheaper solutions. The DASH chat icon that appears when my clients login.

Keeping all my clients assets in one place. Making it easier to accsess than simply using folders in the cloud

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hey there!

Thank you for sharing your feedback. It’s great to hear that you appreciate Dash’s speed, intuitive interface, and branding options. We’re glad it’s helping you keep client assets organized and accessible.

There currently aren't plans to remove the chat as this is how users can get in touch with our customer support team if they run into issues. Do let us know if you'd like to talk about this in more detail, we'd be grateful to hear more about your feedback!

All the best, and thanks again!

  ### 43. Robust content management with great features & wonderful customer support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Navneet K. | Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash has all necessary features to get you started and these are very easy to use, learn and admin. Their set-up barely takes a day or so, and they hand hold you to a large extend. We use the tool dailya nd it has really helped us bring organization to our content. Great customer support. Wonderful free trial that builds confidence. Most importantly, cost effective.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I wish their product roadmap had more to offer, and that if they could release the features sooner. Their analytics are not their strongest suite.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Marketing collaterals organization
Sharing content for internal and external stakeholders

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi Navneet, thanks so much for your review! It is great to hear so many positive experiences around our onboarding, ease of use and support :)

We wish we could release more features sooner too! We do get a lot of requests so we prioritise everything in order to help as many users as possible. All prioritised ideas can be found on our public roadmap at feedback.dash.app/roadmap. If there ever is anything really important to you, do get in touch and we can have a chat in case there are workarounds, or in case we haven't fully understood your request and in fact we should score it higher!

  ### 44. Really impressed

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stuart E. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Great for visibility of images and vectors. Easy management of users and permissions. Easy upload and management of images. Excellent folder system and continual improvements.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

The login is a bit tedious. Automatic login means each time I login I need to write RIVERFORDORGANICFARMERS before it gets to my automatic login. As the administrator and company photographer I use DASH all the time - this gets a bit boring.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we had Dash I had a database of 65000 images, plus graphics. I was the gatekeeper and no-one could find these images without me, though they often tried resulting in sub-standard images being used in customer facing comms. Now each user can see the imges they're selecting without clicking open each one on a database, they are all key word searchable and I can control who sees what. It's great.

**Official Response from Katya Rose:**

> Hi Stuart!

Thank you so much for your review of Dash, we really appreciate your feedback and I'm glad to hear Dash is providing you with so many benefits! 😊

Regarding the login issue, this shouldn't be happening - I'll send you a message now so we can sort this out together (it could be, for example, that you're accessing Dash via the generic login page rather than the one for your Dash specifically).

Thanks,
Katya

  ### 45. Good digital asset management tool

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Dash has one of the best tagging asset management tool with good integration capabilities

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

Mobility functions needs improvement . Reporting takes some time

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking all the digital assets in a single solution

**Official Response from Charlie Pinker:**

> Hi there, thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a review, we really appreciate it :) It is great to hear our integrations and tagging system is working well for you!

Reporting is definitely something we are planning to improve. Please do visit our Ideas Hub and vote/comment on the feature request for it so we can hear exactly what you would like to see (I've added a link below).

Regarding mobile, we have designed Dash to be fully responsive on mobile, and the mobile site supports all functionality. If there are any specific things you'd like to see improved on mobile, please do let us know! Just raise an idea, or vote/comment on an existing one on our Ideas Hub, or get in touch with us using the in-app chat and we'll be happy to discuss your feedback :)

  ### 46. Great to manage assets, keep them organised and collaborate

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Xabier I. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Its smart tagging system makes our assets easy to sort and search through, so we can always find what we need fast.

The organization features keep everything neatly categorized, which is a big help with our workflow. Dash makes sharing and collaborating simple, so everyone can stay on the same page whether we're gearing up for a campaign or refining our marketing content. It’s super easy to share assets across departments and with stakeholders, keeping our messaging consistent.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I wonder what more could be done to automate tagging

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time (and ability) to find pictures

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Xabier,

Thanks for your review! Great to hear that Dash has made sharing and collaborating much easier for you.

We're currently looking into that, hopefully should have something more to share soon :)

Cheers,
Barney

  ### 47. Dash has been a game changer!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Philanthropy | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

I am part of a small marketing team within a nonprofit organization, and we were looking for a solution to organize our photos. Dash has met (and exceeded) all of our wildest dreams! We love that it's easy to use/intuitive, aesthetically pleasing, and well-organized with the folders and tagging systems; we were able to quickly start uploading and sorting photos. We love that it integrates with Canva and Hootsuite, and that you can easily resize photos. It's affordable and didn't require a contract or long-term commitment. It's easy to share assets both internally and externally. Everyone who uses it raves about it!

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

I worry about storage space because our photos are large high-resolution files, but I know it's easy to add on more if/when we need it. But that's all - otherwise, it's been a wonderful experience.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We struggled with having a lot of beautiful photos that were languishing on a shared drive; it meant we had to click through hundreds or thousands of files to find what we needed, which was frustrating and time-consuming. We were also emailing photos to colleagues upon request, and sometimes the files were too large for email. It made using photos for social media, emails, and our website a slog. Dash is helping us find photos quickly and easily, share them with stakeholders, and get the most out of our archive of professional photography.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thanks for your lovely review! So happy to hear Dash has "met your wildest dreams", what a great thing to hear :)

Totally hear you on the storage space, and if you wanted to chat to our CS team more about that then just get in touch.

Thanks again for such a positive review!

Best wishes,
Barney

  ### 48. An exciting new tool for our organisation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

The platform is very straightforward to implement and colleagues have found the system easy to use. Have had quick responses to any onboarding/setup issues and is hard to beat on cost.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

There are a few features I'd love to see integrated in the platform (and they do accept user suggestions) just to add a few more customisations per type of user e.g. restricting some users from making external sharing links. It's hard to fault for the price though.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a way to make our image database better accessible to our colleagues whilst still maintaining correct usage/permissions etc. Having a self-service platform reduces demand on our team for ad-hoc requests for content.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi there,

Thank you for leaving us a review! Really appreciate your thoughts and that you've found it easy to get going with :)

Good suggestion with the more customisation re: user types. I've added this to our request board which we use to help decide which features we build next.

Cheers,
Barney

  ### 49. Easy to use archive for all our media content

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Dash?**

Easy to use platform, with really helpful level of detail for storing information about our assets. Organisation of files is really clearly laid out, and straghtforward to tailor to our specific needs, allowing colleagues across the organisation access to our library of content. The support team has always been quick to respond and able to resolve any issue or find the answers to any questions about the functionality of the site.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

It would be good to see a function where assets automatically move to the restricted access folder when they expire.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash lets us keep our extensive media content in the one place, and allows us to store according to date, location or project partner. The use of tagging allows us to search through thousands of files for specific content, and the use of notes and descriptions means that all the information we have about each asset is in the one place, making it easy for us to pick and choose what we need without the need to search multiple places for the full story behind each asset.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> HI there,

Thanks very much for your review! We're so happy to hear you're finding Dash easy to use and our support team have been helping you out :)

Good suggestion re: restricted access folders. I've added that to our list of potential new features we may build in the future.

All the best,
Barney

  ### 50. Extremely Intuitive DAM

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Delasi A. | Digital Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Dash?**

The thing that swayed us compared to the other suppliers we demoed was the ease of use of Dash. Compared to other legacy DAMs, Dash is extremely intuitive. The UI is clean, fresh and easy to navigate. Implementation is also made very simple with the excellent customer support provided. Their onboarding team is very knowledgeable and helpful. I'd highly recommend Dash to any business that wants to centralise the management and storage of its digital assets. I'm confident that the range of features provided will fit most use cases. Dash integrates easily with many common tools so I'm sure it'll become an essential part of your toolkit proving its use daily.

**What do you dislike about Dash?**

We're still early in our journey so nothing major to report here.

**What problems is Dash solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dash is helping us centralise all our digital assets so we know what we have before commissioning new projects. Additionally, it makes the sharing of assets both internally and with external partners.

**Official Response from Barney Cox:**

> Hi Delasi,

Thanks very much for your review! That means an awful lot to hear you say that, so glad you saw how Dash stood apart from all those other old-fashioned, enterprise-focused DAMs. We can't wait to see how you use Dash once you're further into your journey. And if there's anything you need help with, or if you have any feedback on how Dash can improve, just let us know :)

All the best,
Barney
