They have made it simple and easy to set up user and deactivate them. The accounting tab is pretty straightforward for coding all expenses and the approval inbox is also straightforward. Users are able to order a card and use that card for all travel as long as they accept mastercard. It's also easy to book travel through Brex and many options are given. I also love how it shows when you are booking travel if it is an out of policy expense so employees are more conscious of their decision making when booking a flight or hotel. Receipts are easy to upload through the Brex app and the suggestions the app gives for the memo are pretty spot on as well making it easy on the users to stay in compliance. The Brex team also helps us out a lot and takes our feedback very seriously which I apprecaite. Not a lot of platforms will take your feedback seriously and try to design the platform to better suite you and other users. **What do you dislike about Brex?** We've had some integration issues with Sage which has caused us to do some manual work instead of being able to upload transactions directly into Sage. I use it anywhere I shop for work and its accepted anywhere that takes master card. All I have to do is keep the reciept, and upload it to the app, which uses your camera on your smart phone to take the pic. after that you just leave a quick memo about whatever it is that you bought and uploaded the reciept for. It even gives you suggested memos to use, so all you have to do is pretty much click once, and get back to work. I also appreciate the reibursement section of the app, just in case I end up spending my own money for whatever reason, just submit a reciept for review, and they'll get the money transfered directly to your bank account, easy peasy. **What do you dislike about Brex?** I can't think of any downsides to using brex. Its easy, works the way Iwish everything in my life worked. **What problems is Brex solving and how is that benefiting you?** It solves the problems of not having enough on hand to just buy whatever it is i need at the time. Brex autopopulates the receipt field, by creating a receipt for you, for many expenses for companies that are either linked to Brex or if the receipt is somehow obvious from metadata that was sent to Brex from a vendor. This is super helpful. They offer free incoming and outgoing wire transfers and ACH transfers, something that the big banks charge hundreds of dollars per year to send and receive. In addition to that, they have a treasury account that pays an enourmous yield on the funds you maintain. The ability to send and recieve your transfers is seamless and incredible. You can do it from your phone on the Brex app or on the computer. Getting set up with Brex is also super easy, it took me less than a day when I started my business to get it up and running. Customer support is the best I've ever experienced: from regular check-ins with their software developers, to stopping payments, they are fast, easy to work with, and provide real world help. I log in to the Brex app at least once a day to check balances, send payments, invoice vendors and partners, etc... Once you try Brex you won't want to use any other financial institution. The last thing I want to mention is integration with other banks, there are only a couple I've had problems linking, but it's always because the other bank doesn't have the software or capability. Something I woulnd't fault Brex for. Why would you give the competition the keys and put them in the drivers seat? **What do you dislike about Brex?** The only shortcoming that Brex has, is the lack of physical checks. While antiquated and outdated, checks can still be a big part of business dealings. I get $10,000 - $100,000 in wire transfers from title companies every month, occasionally, I get paper checks instead. When I used Bluevine, they recognized these as normal and customary, and made the entire balance of the checks available immediately. I've only deposited two checks with Brex, but both had very long holds placed on them. I would appreciate certified funds check from title companies, not having any holds placed on them, as it can impact payroll and bill management. **What problems is Brex solving and how is that benefiting you?** Brex solves the payment problem for me, making payments for my office spaces, business expenses, etc.. The ability to send free wire transfers from anywhere, anytime has made my business more reputable and eager for people to work with me. Keeping track of different payment accounts and reconciliation with bank statements became a hassle, let alone managing different user groups for different credit cards. Issuing and cancelling corporate cards also became a burden when turnovers became high at one point. With Brex, we were able to manage all our operating expenses under one card with leveraged credit line. We also were able to freely and quickly increase number of corporate card users, both phyiscally and digitally, whenever we wanted. Maintaining budgets and spend limits based on the level of responsibilities also came in handy. Connecting with our HRIS and Accounting software became quick and easy. Connecting our international entity and its bank to Brex became very handy when our international operation was not big enough to have its own systems and banking relationships. **What do you dislike about Brex?** Data integration with accounting software can be a bit challenging and not being able to carry balance sometimes caused us to hit our credit limit, thus not being able to use the card until an early payment was made. **What problems is Brex solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being able to manage budget and corporate card spend for the employees were key. Often times, if a termed employee is inactivated in NetSuite but has transactions that are pending syncing to NetSuite, the error that is generated in Brex upon attempting the direct sync is unclear and technical.
