"Intuitive Platform with Powerful Automation and Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Braze?

I use Braze for sending out emails and campaigns and creating automations. I really appreciate its intuitive canvas journey builder, which allows me to create complex automation flows without needing engineering support. I also like the creative studio and the Canva integration, which has made asset creation quicker and less frictional. Personalization through liquid scripting is central to how we run our messaging, allowing us to surface product recommendations that resonate with our audience. Braze is a more intuitive platform that offers more automation and better quality campaigns and lead generation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

The AI copywriting assistance is useful for drafts but definitely requires human editing. It would be helpful to have the ability to feed in brand voice guidelines and examples of references. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamlessly Powerful UI with Stellar Reliability"
5/5
What do you like best about Braze?

I really like Braze for its easy and time-efficient customer segment creation and campaign management, making it simple to test campaigns. The UI is very user-friendly, built upon a powerful system, which makes it easy for marketers to craft complex campaigns and customer journeys effortlessly. It's a solid system with little to no issues or bugs, which makes it really trustworthy. The simple UI enables quick training for new starters, helping them to get operational swiftly, which is a great time-saver for the team. Additionally, the system's reliability means we can trust the tool and utilize new releases without worry. Setting up Braze was very easy, with a clear onboarding process managed well by the Braze team, offering lots of support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

I think Braze could give more individual control over channels to allow us to pause/start specific channels within a canvas. As if we have a multi-channel canvas, we currently have to stop the whole thing rather than just one channel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Strong customer engagement platform with powerful real-time capabilities"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Braze?

What I like best about Braze is how easy it is to actually build and launch campaigns without needing a lot of technical support. The journey builder in particular has made a big difference for me. Being able to set up multi-channel campaigns across email, push, and in-app in one place has saved a lot of time compared to using separate tools or relying on engineers.

The real-time data is another big advantage. I can trigger messages based on what users are doing right now, not hours or days later. That has made our campaigns feel much more relevant and has improved engagement.

Integrations have also been really useful. Once everything was connected to our data sources, it became much easier to create more targeted segments and personalize messaging. From a pricing and ROI perspective, while we are still early in our use of the platform, the value is clear in terms of efficiency and consolidation. Having multiple channels and capabilities in one platform reduces the need for additional tools, which we expect will lower overall costs. The ability to target users more accurately should also improve conversion rates, which we anticipate will deliver a strong return on investment over time.

The platform is also reliable when sending to large audiences, and I have not run into major issues with delivery. Onboarding was fairly smooth, and when I have needed help, support has been responsive and helpful.

The AI assistant in Braze, BrazeAI Operator, has been a useful feature so far, mainly for helping speed up campaign setup and content creation. We are still early in using it, but it has made it easier to generate messaging ideas and get campaigns off the ground more quickly.

One thing I did not expect was how easy it is to test and iterate. The built-in A/B testing and analytics make it simple to try new ideas and quickly see what works without needing extra tools.

Overall, it has made my workflow faster and made it easier to run more effective campaigns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

One downside of Braze is that there is a noticeable learning curve, especially when you start working with more advanced features like segmentation, personalisation, and journey logic. While the platform is powerful, it can take time to feel fully confident using it without support. This has been more apparent during onboarding, where some setup steps and configurations require technical input.

The UI is generally good, but it can become harder to manage as campaigns and journeys grow more complex. Navigating and maintaining larger canvases can feel a bit overwhelming at times, particularly for new users.

From a pricing perspective, the lack of transparent pricing upfront makes it harder to evaluate early on, and it is clearly positioned as an enterprise-level investment. While we expect strong ROI over time, the initial cost and setup effort can be a barrier, especially for smaller teams.

Overall, while the platform is very capable, it does require time, resources, and a certain level of technical maturity to get the most out of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ease of Use, Seamless Onboarding, but Needs Enhanced Organization"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Braze?

I like Braze for its ease of use and advanced features, which don't require advanced technical experience if the database is properly set up. It helps users throughout the whole lifecycle, from account creation to retention to reactivation. Braze's native connectors with main industry tools are great, especially with Snowflake. It's easy to connect through API possibilities, making life simpler as CRM managers and allowing us to focus on what matters most. The onboarding team is amazing and guided us through the setup and IP warming, with most delays being on our side rather than from the Braze team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

The tags system should be paired with a folder system. There should be an easier way to find segments and custom attributes from a filtering point of view. There needs to be a better way to select fields and group them under specific umbrellas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Optimization and Personalization with Braze"
5/5
What do you like best about Braze?

I like that Braze is very simple to use. Anyone can pick it up and start using it, even if they aren't very technical. The Canvas feature is particularly easy to use, allowing me to build out campaigns and journeys effortlessly. It's very flexible, letting me do anything I want, and the AI opportunities are growing quickly. The AI capabilities help in scaling personalization easily and guide me through the system. The integration of data points, such as customer and booking data, is also a big plus, allowing personalized and hyper-personalized engagements with customers. Additionally, Braze's constant innovation, multiple channels, and ease of use for CRM teams make it a great tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

I think maybe a better integration with external data. The cloud data ingestion is good, but if it could be extended to allow selections to be made within Canvas and Canvas filters, like using the data that sits in Snowflake, that would be very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive Campaign Management with Braze"
5/5
What do you like best about Braze?

I like that the user interface of Braze is really easy to learn and helps me become really good at using it. It uses simple language and places features in the right spots, which is great. I also appreciate how it allows me to layer different features and capabilities to build sophisticated and slightly complicated customer journeys. The way it displays a customer journey along with breaking down the segmentation and filters nicely is done well and is unified. I feel that Braze really understands the user journey from end to end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

I think they can expand what they do really well. The push story UI feature, for example, is not great as the fields currently overlap and it's quite ugly when you lots of liquid code making it difficult to look at. Also, the Intelligent timing is constrained by the full 2 days window, which isn't ideal. Overall, there are little features that feel kind of neglected; as if they're built once and then the focus moves to the next feature. There's legacy stuff, like intelligent channels, that they could build on more, but the focus seems to be on AI at the moment. Revisiting and refining features from one or two years ago could really make Braze better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Email Marketing with Powerful AI Assistance"
4/5
What do you like best about Braze?

I use Braze for email marketing and it really helps with reporting. The dashboard and reports are easy to make, and it's super helpful having all the information consolidated into one place. I also find creating designs easier on Braze for email templates. The AI assistant is super handy because if I ever have a question or query, I go to the assistant and the majority of the time it helps me plan and make better decisions. Braze's capabilities work well aligned with user app behavior and better targeting, which is great for my company that has an app. The initial setup was quite easy, and any issues we faced were from our side, not a Braze issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

I’m not a huge fan of the rows when creating an email. It would be helpful to have additional columns and other decision functions such as being able to change the color of a spacer inside a row without changing the background color. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Braze update"

What do you like best about Braze?

Braze AI, the new personalization features has helped us to get closer the ultimate goal of 1-2-1 marketing between our brand and customers Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

The integration of Whatsapp and RCS, Braze only allows you to regeister one sender per account, however as a global company we require multiple senders for each market we operate in. This limitation has blocked us from using both messaging methods via Braze.

We still have integration challenges with the flexibility of some tools e.g. message archiving Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simplifies Campaigns with User-Friendly Design"
5/5
What do you like best about Braze?

I really like the simplistic nature of Braze and the way it looks. It's very user-friendly and has a cool vibe. We used to have a different supplier that was very basic, but Braze feels good and works well. We love it. The onboarding process was amazing and really well handled. Being part of it was cool, and Braze did everything they needed to during the transition. The stats are easy to access, and our customers appreciate the heat maps, which let them see what's working well in their campaigns. This helps us better advise them on what works well and what doesn't. Also, we use the templates in Braze, which allows us more creative flair and makes creating campaigns a lot easier compared to previously using Dreamweaver. Everything sitting in one place makes it much easier for us to target our audience more relevantly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

Having the ability to export the stats would be amazing, because right now, you have to go into each campaign and click into it to get the specific report stats. We found this quite difficult at first. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive CRM with Powerful Segmentation, Needs Improved Data Analysis"
4/5
What do you like best about Braze?

I use Braze as my CRM tool to efficiently manage and communicate with B2C and B2B audiences. I like the feature of multi-channel canvas for email, SMS, and WhatsApp. I appreciate the user profiles and the ability to analyze segments in detail. I can go into any user's profile and see what custom attributes and events are connected to them. Also, I can see what campaigns and events they have received and their recent engagement. With segments, I can see where they're being used and the performance of each audience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

I find it very hard to analyze experiment data efficiently and effectively. With custom attributes, you can’t select strings, so there’s huge room for human and manual error. All custom attributes should be a drop down of the fields you already have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
