We already rely on workday and slack so it was great to see Braintrust AIR integrate with them smoothly without any extra effort to sending interview links is quick and all candidates responses along with video transcripts and notes are kept in one place I’ve found it especially helpful to revisit interviews later rather than trying to capture everything during a live calls. The initial loading time before starting an interview can be a bit slow at times I’d also appreciate more ready made questions sets for different roles since we still end up creating some from scratch which takes extra time. We ran into a situation where applications piled up fastest, and this tool helped keep the workload manageable. Instead of reviewing every CV manually and then scheduling calls one at a time, the process runs is a single, streamlined flow. Candidates can complete their interview own their schedule and I can review their responses whenever I have time. That screening the inteviee flow and shortlisting all live in one dashboards, which reduces how often I have to switch between tools. I missed a review step the first time because it wasn’t very noticable. During longer sessions, small delays in responses can feel slightly off throughout the it seems to improve day to day. The AI was able to reassure me when I thought there was a technical problem and guide me easily through the process. I think it would be super useful when integrated with traditional hiring practices to streamline info gathering. It performed exactly as intended as a replacement for a live interviewer and I didn't find it awkward at all to talk to. I would probably purchase it for myself if I were a hiring manager to redistibute human talents elsewhere. It improved my workflow by allowing me to think before I spoke and not rushing me like a human would without meaning to. The speed of dialogue was also close to natural. I didn't hear the Ai voice at first and would like options for the voice if possible so that I can better personalize and feel connected to the AI interviewer. What do you dislike about Braintrust AIR? While Braintrust AIR is powerful, its biggest drawback is the lack of deep customization in the AI evaluation criteria. Sometimes, the AI rejects non-traditional or self-taught candidates simply because their resume structure doesn't fit the expected mold, leading to a potential loss of unconventional talent. Secondly, the platform is heavily dependent on a high volume of data; for niche, highly specialized roles where applicants are few, the AI insights don't feel as sharp or distinct. Lastly, the notification system and dashboard UI can get cluttered during bulk hiring drives, making it slightly difficult to track real-time changes without constantly refreshing the page.
