We deal with external vendors all the time. Box enables me to generate a shared link and add the expiry date; I send the link, and we can collaborate. No account creation and access requests required. Moreover, Box allows for desktop syncing. The moment I open a document in my laptop, it is synced on the cloud without even realizing it. This way, when I open a document on another machine, I get the most up-to-date version of it. Another great feature is the commenting of files. The price per user for us becomes very significant as we are a rather large group.
