It does what you expect it to do every time. Support is great. Features offer just enough versatility to customize my templates as I like them to be. **What do you dislike about Box Sign?** UX could be a little bit more streamlined but nothing to complain about. Support replies do not always come back right away, maybe my expectations are too high, but I also know they're based in Netherlands & I'm unsure where their support is based. **Recommendations to others considering Box Sign:** Take a docusign trial, try signrequest, see which one you like the best, and then roll with that one. There is no more authentic way to truly know which is better. No other software are really worth trying as those are the two dominant forces in e signatures. **What problems is Box Sign solving and how is that benefiting you?** Paper contracts got to be a real hassle. Then one day our office scanner broke and a new one was going to be $800+. That's when we decided we were done with paper for good. So then we started looking into e-signature software for sending out documents for signatures. We now use sign request for signing contracts & storing signed PDFs for later retrievals. Being able to send it electronically is more efficient and makes the process less cumbersome. ### 42. Best suited for super simple (and low risk) use cases. **What do you dislike about Box Sign?** Where do I start. So, the numbering order has failed me a few times. I applied myself and another director as "1", and several others as "2"s. Then when I sent the doc I see that one of the "2"s received it to sign, and I (or my other Director) haven't! I thought I was losing my mind...and that's the other problem. You can't go into the document after you've sent to see for yourself what the 'send order' was...I just wanted to see if I made a mistake, but that's not possible. This is a poor design decision if you ask me. I also don't like how multiple documents to sign are put through the process. Its too easy to make a mistake in that if you add, say 5 documents to sign, it only tells you in very small print that by default all documents will have the same signing order and rules applied as the first document. Ok, so the user should pay attention I guess. So in this example, all of the recipients will be required to sign each document, but when they receive the documents its not entirely clear to the end-signer that they need to proceed through each other document to sign, and then the process 'breaks'. In my case, I was the recipient (a signer) and was offered up all these extra documents I knew I didn't have to sign, but after the first doc was signed (the only one I had to, and where there was a spot for me to sign), all the other documents were just presented to me -- they didn't have a spot for me to sign. I just barely saw a small message at the top of the screen that said I had to find a spot on the page to sign. I knew the system so I knew to click anywhere and got the signing prompt options. Only after I signed/initialed would the "next" button become available to me. Then I pressed Next and proceeded with the other documents in the same way. There were 10 of us that had to sign the first doc, but not the other docs. I was the only one that spotted that small print on the top of the screen to click and sign/initial those extra docs. The result? All other 9's doc signing process failed. And now the lawyer has to redo it for each of thosee 9 -- one at a time. Needless to say, none of us are impressed. Want more? Ok. So, when adding multiple signers to a doc, the left side scrolling is horrible. You need to know that you must scroll the document to the last page, and only then will the bottom of the longer multi-signer list will become available with the option to then add an additional signer. If you don't scroll to the bottom of the document you might think that you can't add more signers. Yeah. I mean, really? I have more to say on what I don't like. Bottom line: I'm cancelling my subscription and going to find a more professional solution. I think this solution might work if you only have one or two signatures to apply, and certainly not if you have a business or enterprise need. I found myself extremely embarrassed for the above missteps. **Recommendations to others considering Box Sign:** Don't use it. **What problems is Box Sign solving and how is that benefiting you?** Digital signing of sales contracts, and shareholder documents. The only benefit is the remote and verified signature aspect. ### 43. Staff are really helpful as well even though we are based in the UK and they are based in the Netherlands. As the title suggests, it does what it says on the tin – we use the platform to upload forms and create templates to send out to our customers and it is very straightforward to create and send out and get signed forms back. **What do you dislike about Box Sign?** I would say the software is really good for the price we pay and for the ease of use and the help we get whenever we need it. The only downside is for me are that the checkboxes on the forms can confuse our customers as you have to click skip instead of just missing the check box. Also it would be really good if there was a function to copy a specific box to fill-in in the same location on every page rather than having to put it yourself manually on every page which can take a while for us to do with some of our longer documents! There are also some other signing based programs that are on offer that have more options to include in their forms such as embedding a payment platform as part of the form and other choices of boxes to fill out on forms would be helpful (like drop down boxes) **Recommendations to others considering Box Sign:** If you want a nice and easy software to upload documents and send out forms for customers or clients signatures then this one is perfect for you. I’ve done a lot of comparison of competitors and based on price, ease-of-use and functionality, this is a great option for us and I would definitely recommend it to anybody else. **What problems is Box Sign solving and how is that benefiting you?** We can now send out our documentation electronically to be signed rather than having to meet customers in person or sending hardcopies to be signed. It has saved us a lot of time and hassle and seems to be a much more effective way to communicate with our customers as well. ### 46. I have a few improvement suggestion to the sign request team for consideration: 1. As regards the placement of signatures and the sizing of fonts. It would be great if it gave users the option of font type and size when preparing documents. 2.It would also be great if it could allow us to use something like a sign here place holder instead of signature boxes that one has to size when preparing the document. Doing this will allow the individual who will be signing to be able to adjust the location of where the signature will be placed and the size of the signature or text required to be entered on the document. 3. I know that sign request has an option to upload templates, though I've never used it since it seems a little complicated. It would be great if there was a simple video illustration on the types of form templates that users can adopt or how to customize our own templates. This would go a long way in helping our internal operations and shortening the document preparation time. 4. The last thing is to look into uploading of heavy files & consider having the email prompt being pick the uploaded document name instead of "(Name) has sent you a sign request" **What problems is Box Sign solving and how is that benefiting you?** I work in a department where we require cross country approvals. Sign request is really helpful for signatures I need from directors in Uganda or the USA for activities/ expenses to be incurred in Kenya. ### 47. It makes the signature look weird.
