## Bonusly Reviews
 ### 1. Bonusly is great for recognition

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

It removes the "top-down" barrier. It feels great being able to give a bonus to a teammate immediately when they help you out without needing manager approval.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

While the platform is great, the reward catalog for the India team feels a bit limited compared to other regions. It would be great to see more local brands and diverse options added to make the points even more valuable for us

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of small, daily efforts going unnoticed by management. Since peers can recognize each other, even the "behind-the-scenes" help gets highlighted.

 ### 2. An Outstanding Tool for Recognition, Motivation, and Team Morale

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice

**Reviewed Date:** December 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

That it serves as a powerful incentive that helps strengthens workplace culture, keeps employees motivated, and helps everyone feel seen and appreciated.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Sometimes the number of points available to give runs out quickly, which can make it hard to recognize everyone.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lack of Everyday Recognition
Many contributions go unnoticed in a busy work environment. Bonusly makes it easy to recognize everyday efforts in real time, so people feel valued for the work they actually do.

Low Employee Engagement
Without a structured way to celebrate wins, engagement can dip. Bonusly keeps engagement high by encouraging ongoing positive interactions between team members.

Unclear Recognition Standards
Traditional recognition programs can feel vague or top-down. Bonusly empowers employees to recognize each other directly, creating a more authentic and inclusive culture of appreciation.

Motivation Plateaus
It’s easy for motivation to fade when achievements aren’t acknowledged. Bonusly’s points and rewards system gives people something fun and tangible to work toward, which boosts morale and motivation.

Siloed Teams & Weak Culture
When teams or departments don’t regularly interact or celebrate together, culture suffers. Bonusly breaks down those silos by encouraging company-wide recognition that strengthens connection and teamwork.

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I really like the peer-to-peer recognition feature and the public feed, which makes appreciation visible across the company. The rewards marketplace is also a big plus as it allows employees to choose rewards that are meaningful to them. The ease of use and seamless integration stand out to me, as it fits naturally into our workflows and encourages frequent recognition without feeling forced. The setup was very easy from the basics.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

More customization and engagement prompts would make the experience even better. More tailored engagement nudges, flexible reporting, and customer-specific customization would enhance long-term adoption.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly helps address low engagement and lack of consistent recognition, boosting morale and strengthening company culture. I love the peer-to-peer recognition feature and public feed that make appreciation visible, plus the rewards marketplace and ease of use with seamless integration.

**Reviewed by:** Noam G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I feel I can give incentives and rewards to other team members despite I'm not a manager. I feel more comfortable asking for favors knowing I can return public appreciation

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

We don't use all of the features so it makes the ui a cumbersome. Also the "leaderboard" feature is a little toxic - it would have been healthier it would have been less competitive

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I feel more comfortable asking for help from others

 ### 5. A Simple and Effective Way to Build a Culture of Recognition

Bonusly helps solve the problem of lack of recognition in fast-paced work environments. By making appreciation easy and consistent, it improves morale, strengthens team relationships, and increases overall engagement.

 ### 6. User-Friendly Recognition Platform with Room for Reward Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephan C.

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Bonusly is very easy to use and user-friendly, which I really appreciate. It makes recognizing a colleague's great work straightforward since I can immediately generate a nice message that everyone can see and award points, instead of navigating internal channels. I also like having it integrated into my Slack, which enhances its convenience. The initial setup was quick and simple.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I think the amount of points needed to purchase items is really high. I think some of the options outside of gift cards are not as easily attainable and if those were I think you would see a bigger adoption.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bonusly for work recognition, helping shed light on the great work my colleagues do and rewarding them. It's easy to use, allowing me to quickly recognize a colleague with a message and points.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

Bonusly allows users to be rewarded for jobs well done or just for fun. Looking through the Bonusly feed at the company is fun to see how teammates are helping one another or giving each other a laugh.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

The new appearance of Bonusly is very confusing and shows much less information than the UI beforehand. It almost works but I feel the information is lacking in some areas as a user.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a user Bonusly is not necessarily solving a problem but promotes incentives to help other teammates besides good will.

Additionally, it is a user-friendly and easy-to-use platform, which makes it simple to send messages that can be fun and creative, creating pleasant moments. The initial setup was easy because it is very corporate.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Suddenly, sometimes there are few memes to share if you're doing it quickly, let's just say they are sometimes the same ones.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like Bonusly’s focus on peer-to-peer recognition, which helps build a positive and engaged team culture. It’s simple to use and makes appreciation visible across the organization.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

One downside is that recognition can sometimes feel transactional if people focus more on points than genuine appreciation, and it may lose impact over time if not used thoughtfully.

I love that I can use Bonusly to redeem points and make purchases from top brands that I'm interested in the market. I also find the integration with Slack helpful, as it supports our company communication. The initial setup as an employee was very easy, with straightforward login and navigation. I appreciate getting notifications when other team members receive points, making it exciting to see team recognition.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I don't have any sort of insight on any further improvements as it really coincides with what I'm looking to do. I do know there are some team hashtags that have been created, but it would be nice to custom create our own.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bonusly to appreciate colleagues who go above and beyond, and I love redeeming points to shop at top brands I'm interested in.

I use Bonusly to recognize my co-workers for their accomplishments, birthdays, and anniversaries, which I find really special. I love that I can turn the points I earn into cash through PayPal, which is particularly helpful around the Christmas season for extra money. What I like most about Bonusly is the ability to recognize others, which is motivating and gives me a sense of accomplishment. I think Bonusly is a perfect feature, and I love everything about it. Additionally, the initial setup was very simple, with nothing hard about it.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I love everything about this platform.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bonusly to recognize coworkers' accomplishments, birthdays, and anniversaries. It provides motivation, makes me feel good, and allows me to turn points into cash through PayPal, which I used as extra money during Christmas.

 ### 31. Very interactive and easy to use; while providing an incentive for our employees.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Facilities Services

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I love how it almost feels like you are using a social media platform.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Nothing, it was easy to use and very interactive.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's providing a simple way to receive and provide recognition while seeing everyone in the company also receive and give it out in real time.

 ### 32. Fun incentive tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

It's a fun incentive tool to motivate internal teams and show recognition in a small, appreciative way. It's nice to take a moment to recognize your team and coworkers for specific campaigns and account-work.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Often times I'm short $1 or so, so I can't give recognition to a full team and have to wait until the next month - no flexibility in pulling $ from an upcoming month.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using it as an engagement tool and small-token of appreciation for peers to show recognition in a fun/easy way

 ### 33. Fun and great for team building

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

There are many ways of interacting with your team members, and bonusly has become a fun way to recognize peers, interact and share. Also I used many rewards like Visa, UberEats and donations, and they worked perfectly, no issues.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I don't dislike anything in particular really, maybe I would love to have a better UI for choosing and searching rewards, but aside from that all is easy to use.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem Bonusly solves is to give us a fun and easy way to say thinks to peers.

 ### 34. Effortless Peer Recognition and Reward Redemption

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I can give points to my colleagues really easily and I can cash out my own points for rewards. I use it every month and I really enjoy receiving bonusly as well because it's a very public validation but I don't need to physically be in front of hundreds of people. I prefer recognition this way.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I don't like the integration into Slack. It feels clunky to use via the integration.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly provides an effective recognition system that enables a national organization like mine to acknowledge both major and minor efforts, making these recognitions visible across the entire organization. Personally, I appreciate receiving recognition in a written form, and I like that, while it is visible to everyone, it doesn't make me feel as though I'm under an overwhelming spotlight.

 ### 35. 10/10 Bonusly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sydni S.

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I truly enjoy using Bonusly. I have used other employee recognition and engagement platforms, but Bogusly is by far my favorite. I enjoy that it is easy to use and navigate through. I enjoy that I can see company wide, but easily filter.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I wish that Bonusly showed everyone's birthdays on their profiles, instead of just showing up when it is coming up.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonus has not solved any problems for me. It has helped boost morale, and create a way to recognize our teammates since we are remote.

 ### 36. Effortless Recognition and Reward System That Makes You Feel Valued

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chandler M. | Staff Support, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I really enjoy getting notifications from the platform, as I find it to be an excellent way to feel rewarded. The system makes it simple for anyone to acknowledge their colleagues with just a few clicks, and the points system helps you easily find what you want at a suitable price. Overall, it truly makes me feel appreciated by both the company and my coworkers.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Learning how to set up budgets is essential, but I think it would be helpful if they included a few more brands. I would also appreciate having more resources available for our employees to explore.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This solution enables companies to consistently recognize individuals and is particularly user-friendly, especially when it comes to purchasing gifts. The system integrates smoothly with our internal programs and provides a broad selection of gift cards and other items.

 ### 37. A Great Way to Recognize Colleagues and Earn Meaningful Rewards

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

This is a great way to show recognition to colleagues, and it’s nice to be able to earn good rewards with the points we receive.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Everything is really good overall, except for the recent AI integration.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem it solves is helping colleagues support one another while also providing a good way to recognize the people who helped. I’m comfortable giving points to those who genuinely contributed and made a difference.

 ### 38. Essential Platform for Team Recognition and Motivation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Priyadharshini T. | Director Software Quality Assurance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

A Powerful Tool for Recognition, Engagement, and Team Motivation

Review:
As a QA Director, fostering a culture of recognition and motivation across teams is extremely important to me. Bonusly has been a highly effective platform in helping me consistently recognize and appreciate my team members’ efforts in a meaningful and timely way.

The ease of giving recognition, tying it to company values, and making appreciation visible across the organization has had a very positive impact on team morale. It encourages peer-to-peer recognition and creates a sense of belonging, which is especially valuable in fast-paced product development environments like Scripps.

Overall, Bonusly has become an integral part of how we recognize contributions, motivate our teams, and support a healthy, engaged workplace culture. I would highly recommend it to organizations looking to improve employee engagement and recognition.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

NA. Overall, Bonusly has become an integral part of how we recognize contributions, motivate our teams, and support a healthy, engaged workplace culture. I would highly recommend it to organizations looking to improve employee engagement and recognition.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From a leadership perspective, Bonusly has helped reinforce positive behaviors, celebrate wins—both big and small—and keep teams motivated even during challenging delivery cycles. It has also strengthened cross-team collaboration by making appreciation more transparent and inclusive.

 ### 39. Great for Showing Appreciation, But Point Limits Restrict Generosity

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I like how it provides a way to show appreciate to my coworkers and I don't have to worry about them not being able to use what I give them, because they can spend their points however they want.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I don't like my limitations on points, since I want to show my gratitude to lots of my coworkers for many things. I have to really limit myself and who I reward points to.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not being able to show gratitude like in other workplaces. I don't have to spend out of my own finances to give back to those who have helped me out. It also provides a space for others to share their gratitude and recognition of others, and it allows for communication of everyone's hard work across different departments.

 ### 40. Solid Slack Integration, Fun GIFs, and a Rewards Feature That Works Well

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Himanshu C. | Senior Technical Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

The Slack integration is solid, and I like being able to add GIFs. The rewards feature is also a nice touch and works well.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

There’s no easy way to check who I gave the rewards to. Basically, there are no history logs, so it’s hard to track past rewards.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s easier to recognize efforts.

 ### 41. Something tangible above and beyond words of affirmation = A+

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebecca H. | VP of Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I've used similar tools in the past that honestly may have been white-labeled Bonusly, but this is my first time using it as Bonusly. I *love* it. The ability to give something with a monetary attachment that my team can use for nice things for themself is huge. We have it linked to a Teams channel so everyone in the company can see accolades as they come through. I run through my budget of points (we call them tacos) within the first two weeks of the month without fail and regularly request one-off boosts. We even ran a meme contest with a decent chunk of points as a reward.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I honestly can't think of a negative for me.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Just the lack of anything else I have to show appreciation with more than just words in a crazy job market and industry.

 ### 42. A Fun, Tangible Way to Celebrate Coworkers with Bonusly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna K. | Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I love that Bonusly gives me a tangible way to celebrate my coworkers and to have some fun in the workplace. I use Bonusly all the time! It's very easy and straight forward to use.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I dislike that I need to attach specific hashtags, but I think that is more the way our school uses Bonusly than Bonusly's fault. I also don't love that the points go away at the end of the month or that extra points aren't then disbursed to those that use them.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tangible ways to celebrate my coworkers.

 ### 43. Easy-to-Use Recognition with Awesome US Redemption Options

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Janet K. | Sr. Business Operations & Strategy Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

It is easy to use and makes giving recognition simple and convenient. The wide variety of redemption options in the US is awesome. Including charities is a great feature.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I believe there are fewer redemption options outside of the US.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of our employees not feeling recognized for the work they do by enabling employees to recognize each other without layers of approval. It also allows for recogntion from our leadership team via awards as they generally do not have the bandwidth to give out points on their own.

 ### 44. I like this reward system in return to give recognition or appreciation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I like both giving and receiving recognition through Bonusly. It makes it easy to acknowledge teammates in real time, and receiving recognition feels motivating and appreciated. It helps build a positive team culture and keeps everyone engaged.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I don’t have any major dislikes, but sometimes the recognition can feel a bit repetitive or routine.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly helps solve the lack of visibility and consistency in employee recognition. Without a tool like this, appreciation can be infrequent or limited to managers, but Bonusly enables peer-to-peer recognition in real time.

 ### 45. Fun and engaging way to celebrate and give recognition!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Easy to use. Varity of gif's. Reminders of events to celebrate. Great rewards.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

There is nothing I can think of that I dislike.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly makes recognition immediate, visible, and peer‑driven, which helps ensure employees feel appreciated in real time—not just during annual reviews.
Benefits:
Helps team to feel motivated and valued because recognition is timely and meaningful.
Peer‑to‑peer recognition creates a stronger sense of teamwork and positivity.
Leaders gain better insight into employee contributions and wins.
Overall morale and engagement improve, which positively impacts performance and retention.

 ### 46. Bonusly is a great solution for internal recognition!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew L. | Sr People Business Partner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Our company has really embraced use of Bonusly for peer recognition. We also used it for a Holiday Gift option, and we use it for awards compensation.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Nope! I've really enjoyed it and the Dashboard refresh they did is smart!

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A highly manual process where folks gave public praise and bonuses had to be manually entered to payroll. This is easier and more scalable than the prior process and also more fun!

 ### 47. Empowering Recognition and Rewarding Engagement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gillian C.

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I like that Bonusly allows me to see others get recognition in a small way. I also like the options you have to cash out your Bonusly points. I use the GIF features very often because a picture or video is worth a thousand words, and I feel like it has some funny or current GIFs.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I haven't run into any issues currently. I think the only struggle I may have is not finding a particular GIF I want to use. I feel like it has some funny or current GIFs. I think the library can be expanded just a bit.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bonusly to give recognition to colleagues. It lets me see others get recognized in a small way. I also like the cash-out options for Bonusly points.

 ### 48. An Easy Way to Show Appreciation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Megan E. | Campus Caretaker, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I really love bonusly's new interface. It's more aesthetically pleasing and cohesive.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I have nothing negative to say about Bonusly.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Bonusly, I can say thank you in a way that matters. I feel like the reward aspect gives my thank you some weight. I think it also incentivizes staff to help others.

 ### 49. An outstanding tool for recognizing and being recognized

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

The interface is intuitive. Bonusly is a tool we commonly use each month for recognizing and being recognized. It is great for sharing Bonusly points, and I also really like the option to redeem them through prepaid cards.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Nothing. From the beginning, it was easy to use.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sometimes it is not easy to find the right way to recognize great work from individuals or teams. Bonusly makes this simple and effective. It is an excellent tool for recognition, easy to use, and enjoyable for everyone.

 ### 50. Virtual Card

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maxine S. | Customer service specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I like the gifting process of sharing points and showing kindness. Easy to withdraw and the platform is user friendly.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I hate how everytime I withdraw my points with the website it provides a different virtual card. I feel since the website identifies that its my profile to allow me to withdraw to the same card instead of having 3-5 different virtual cards as the cards do expire in 5 years. The other problem this creates especially for me is that it now does not allow me to add the different cards as I am constantly deleting and adding different cards. Please see if this is something you can allow as it will make things super super easy and manageable.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TI am able to use my bonusly points on a few treats and uber rides for the mid month shortfall.
