It takes a bit of getting used to and a requires some due diligence to become familiar with, set up, and begin using. **What problems is Bonterra CyberGrants solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allows us as a non-profit more visibility to recieve donations. ### 2. I'd like to see some of our behind-the-scenes (admin side) cleaned up, for example, old report templates, but I don't know where to start. **What problems is Bonterra CyberGrants solving and how is that benefiting you?** I love the payments to all of the nonprofits, and the portal provided to them for tracking their donations. As a result, I spend less time on calls with NPOs looking for information. This system helps us keep track of donations and requests and reports which is very useful. **What do you dislike about Bonterra CyberGrants?** We've had some issues tracking gifts and getting our information updated to receive gifts. We also don't see donor contact info which we eventually need for acknowledgments. **What problems is Bonterra CyberGrants solving and how is that benefiting you?** CyberGrants helps to manage some of our gifts, applications, etc. so that we don't need paper copies and so that everything is accessible in one secure location. ### 5. We liked the complex reporting capabilities and the connection between the nonprofit and each donation request, so there was robust tracking available. **What do you dislike about Bonterra CyberGrants?** It took a lot longer to implement than we had planned, and sometimes communicating our needs took several sessions. It was not as user-friendly as we were hoping for. We needed support from customer service for most updates to our application form, which we were hoping to handle ourselves. **Recommendations to others considering Bonterra CyberGrants:** Just make sure you have someone capable of handling the back-end administrative duties well and have enough time to train themselves and the team responsible for the grants. **What problems is Bonterra CyberGrants solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed a new in-kind donation tracking system. Our former one was built in-house, and our internal IT team did not have the bandwidth to update it anymore and could not create a new system that would satisfy all of our tracking and reporting needs. ### 10. There are multiple options for donations, and a tab where your company can show their individual answered questions. **What do you dislike about Bonterra CyberGrants?** When using this program in the past, I found that it wasn't clear on certain giving match policies. This may have been a company specific issue, so I wouldn't hold it against the software. **Recommendations to others considering Bonterra CyberGrants:** I would recommend using this product especially for use at a large company. It encourages employees to donate when they know other people are contributing. **What problems is Bonterra CyberGrants solving and how is that benefiting you?** It makes donating to your community really simple. People are more likely to donate when they can see statistics on who else is helping, where the money is going, and how much it has supported people in the past.
