For example, when emails are sent out seven days before a meeting, I would like to add a note sometimes. Reports used to be printed, bound and couriered to Directors throughout New Zealand. This required coordination with staff and couriers etc and was totally unproductive. We use BoardPro for all our meetings and not only is it easy for us, it's proven to be easy to navigate with our not so tech savvy members as well! Its organized, it looks amazing when auditors need to confirm our minutes, and it's just THAT useful. As someone who uses it for all our meetings, please trust me when I say everything about this is absolutely easy. We have been using BoardPro for years now and its for a good reason! It has done everything and more for us. 1000000/10 RECOMMEND! **What do you dislike about BoardPro?** Nothing I dislike but of course, anyone who is new to BoardPro may be intimidated at first. I had someone train me how to use BoardPro but it took me probably only one try before I got the hang of it during my other meetings. The more you use BoardPro and make the effort to learn how to use it, it really does just become habit. It doesn't take too much time to learn it though. Could be done within an hour, I promise! **Recommendations to others considering BoardPro:** When I tell you that BoardPro is it's OWN program, please believe me. The ease, the convenience, the work pressure it reduces? It is WORTH it. I personally love BoardPro and it may sound biased, I promise you I am not. There is no other program quite like BoardPro **What problems is BoardPro solving and how is that benefiting you?** To be fair, I started with BoardPro about 6 months ago however the company I work for has been using for years. Upon being a first time user, I in all honesty, have had no problems. More help towards this question though as to what benefits have I realized since using BoardPro is the ability to do a part of my job without me doing the actual task. That goes for meeting reminders, emailing board packs, and sharing information with everyone about whichever meeting we have for certain days. I am on BoardPro for two weeks every month because we have 3 big meetings a month. Most of the time I am busy scripting and building agendas but I promise you, the benefits alone from BoardPro have been so helpful with reducing the stress I feel on certain days. ### 12. Being able to search for previous decisions and minutes, as well as easily keep tabs on actions is fantastic. The reminders that BoardPro sends out keep everyone on task, without the Board Secretary needing to be too involved. Board members appreciate the easy navigation around the Board packs, which makes discussion in meetings flow better, and many Board members now use the handy annotation feature instead of printing out and scribbling notes. In fact, most Board members have moved to viewing all the papers online now, so that is a huge bonus in terms of sustainability - saving time and money sending out large paper packs. The Flying Minute feature that was introduced has been really useful to get resolutions passed between meetings which are automatically included in the next minutes. Board members being able to update their own interests in the Interests Register is also helpful. I support 4 NFP Boards and 3 sub-committees and wouldn't be without BoardPro to keep everything on track. **What do you dislike about BoardPro?** BoardPro is continuing to add helpful features. I would like an option to create an action for all Board members at once, rather than only allocating it to one person only, but hope that is in development. It is able to integrate very smoothly with all documents types, making it very easy to download every type of document required for your meeting. Navigating around Boardpro is super easy and very user friendly. The aesthetics of the screen layout is also very pleasing to the eyes and making working on Boardpro fun. The reminders for upcoming meetings are also a very useful tool to have. **What do you dislike about BoardPro?** So far there is nothing I can think of that I dislike about Boardpro. All the features are accessible and user-friendly. **What problems is BoardPro solving and how is that benefiting you?** In the past, preparations for Board meetings were a nightmare as there were always literally mountains of paperwork to prepare, photocopy and share with Board members. This was such a tedious task, not to mention not great for the environment. Now, with Boardpro, all meeting documents are virtual and there is no longer any need for photocopying and wasting so much paper. This has cut our meeting cost down significantly. And with the border closures due to COVID, virtual meetings have become a real thing for our organisation, so having all our meeting documents readily available on Boardpro is a bonus. ### 20. BoardPro allows us to be fully prepared for meetings via board packs and the notes app, run our meetings efficiently with agenda, minutes, action item tracking on hand and stored securely. I really love the between meetings feature to circulate a paper for comment and to vote and minute decisions. Then there is added benefit of being able to store our critical governance documents in the same place with confidence they are secure. All this for a very reasonable price. The after sales support is fantastic! Fast, friendly and above all, helpful support. **What do you dislike about BoardPro?** Nothing I don't like only things I would improve like assigning more than one person to a complex action. It gives us a central place for recording and reviewing minutes. We use the action items feature extensively, which automates everything so nothing slips through the cracks. The technical support is impressive. **What do you dislike about BoardPro?** There is no easy way within the software to foster pre-meeting commenting or discussion of documents. No easy way yet to sign minutes electronically.
