BoardEffect has been a time saver and a paper saver. The time spent preparing our board reports has been cut in half or more. No more printing off 100-plus pages and mailing them out hoping the board members received their board information on time. One downside is the meeting minutes, are not customizable to our needs. I didn't like the format of the meeting minutes as well. Sending minutes out for approval is cumbersome. The most helpful aspect of Board Effect for our organization is keeping meeting materials organized. Users can always access the most up to date version of our packet and contribute their materials. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Calendar of events does not update live to Outlook exports, which causes confusion, especially for older/less technologically literate users. Sometimes buttons to access things are small/hard to find, which, again, leads to confusion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that everything is electronic. Before moving to BoardEffect everything was paper. Took so much of my time to gather all documents and put into a binder for each board member. Now I just create the agenda and attach the documents and board members just log in and access everything...even items from past board meetings. They even have webinars and videos to watch when you need to figure how a certain function works. But you can always reach out to your support team and they reach out in a very timely manner. The team at BoardEffect can be very helpful when they are approached with common platform questions. But, if you aren't sure what to ask but are having issues or don't realize other ways to use the platform, it can be tough to get the right answers. It would be a huge benefit to their team to hire or utilize the insight of a current or past BoardEffect user/administrator so they better understand how organizations are or could use the platform. Through that knowledge, they could build more in-depth training with new BoardEffect administrators. I believe the BoardEffect team is working on a plan to utilize back-end users more effectively.
