BlueJeans Rooms allowed me to seamlessly create a meeting schedule using Microsoft and Google calendar which was very handy because it provided so much flexibility and convenience for me to easily reserve rooms for ad-hoc and schedule meetings. I liked that BlueJeans Rooms is very easy to deploy since we were able to use our IT department expertise only and that did not even take them a lot of time and the product was up running. More so it features diagnostic features that make it very easy to track any issues hence it is very easy maintenance. **What do you dislike about BlueJeans Rooms?** The downside in my experience with this product was occasional video lagging which resulted in video and audio going out of sync, we tried video interoperability using products like Microsoft Teams and others but that did not solve much. **Recommendations to others considering BlueJeans Rooms:** I recommend this if anyone considering this product is looking for a product that can save costs and also the product offers so much flexibility that allows users to work with other products that are not BlueJeans. **What problems is BlueJeans Rooms solving and how is that benefiting you?** Deployment and maintenance costs were our main problems before we introduced this product in our organisation we had to rely on third-party assistance which was very expensive. BlueJeans Rooms has been very beneficial since it is very easy to set up and also it features diagnostics which we relied on to carry out our inhouse maintenance process hence it has been very beneficial by saving us costs. ### 3. Sometimes joining the same room actually means joining two different rooms even if the link is the same. I like the recording option and the chat. It was a great add the option of breakout groups. **What do you dislike about BlueJeans Rooms?** I honestly don't know how to put a background, something so simple. And sometimes you're forced to join a meeting with the camera on, which I also don't think it's necessary. It could have some other interactive tools, like drawing on the screen. **Recommendations to others considering BlueJeans Rooms:** Bluejeans is a very good tool for any video interaction, be it a meeting or an online class. You can have stability in your video call even when your connection is not stable and this is one of the strong points of the product, in my opinion. Easy to understand, user-friendly, and also allows you to record your meetings in high quality, which is very useful for training. You can see several people at once, which is very useful for meetings in large groups. You can create sub-groups within large meetings, which is extremely useful for dynamic, collaborative projects. I have been using it almost daily for over a year now and there is nothing to complain about, it reliably does everything it promises and is the best tool for video calls, in my opinion. **What problems is BlueJeans Rooms solving and how is that benefiting you?** In my team, we used for recording the training for new employees. It is the only conferencing software our firm utilizes, for both exrernal and internal calls, but colleagues and clients all rave about the ease of use compared to other software options. BlueJeans is straightforward, provides great screensharing cabapabilities, and very reliable. **What do you dislike about BlueJeans Rooms?** Little to dislike with BlueJeans. A few clicks and you are ready to send out invites. I also like that it integrates with my outlook so meetings are automatically synced to my calendar. We used this for internal team meetings and occasionally some presentations. It did a great job on both counts. The Audio and video quality was great and it was really easy for people to share their screen or their Powerpoint presentations. Even as a user who had to join meetings I had no complaints. It worked reliably even when I was working off a Hotel's wifi. **What do you dislike about BlueJeans Rooms?** I would have loved a Calendly Integration. I dont know if they have recently added that or not but it would be great if it would automatically send out invites when someone booked a Calendly meeting with me. I know Zoom does it so it should certainly be feasible. **Recommendations to others considering BlueJeans Rooms:** There are some great alternatives and a free trial of BlueJeans that you can look into. I would recommend checking those out and using the trial before you go live. **What problems is BlueJeans Rooms solving and how is that benefiting you?** Even before the COVID situation happened, we found virtual meetings were more productive and less disruptive than in person meetings. Bluejeans was a great tool for that need. ### 14. In addition to Bluejeans' flawless video+audio conference meeting capabilities, the moderator of the meeting can now send audience members in groups to separate BlueJeans Breakout Sessions. The Breakout is another Bluejeans conference where only some of the audience is. The Breakout can be a timed duration, then you are returned to the main Bluejeans to see and hear everyone. This feature worked very well in my experience. **What do you dislike about BlueJeans Rooms?** All good. As an audience member, I also have the option to leave the Breakout to return to the main Bluejeans. **What problems is BlueJeans Rooms solving and how is that benefiting you?** Everyone is working remotely, and I am not even in the same state as my manager or most of my team. I have to use the recommended 3rd party tool Snap Camera for video masking Customer support could be better. Being a new user it does take some time to get used to the way for opening a support ticket Some newer versions had some feature missing that they had in the previous versions. This could be improved No meeting poll option like Microsoft FindTime. I have contacted support and they don't have any 3rd party recommendation as well. In my experience, the platform does not do a good job at being able to display voice quality very well, naturally this leads to frustration amongst the participants, and previously before being able to dial into a conference via web browser - a HUGE amount of frustration for having to be required to use a desktop app to login. **Recommendations to others considering BlueJeans Rooms:** Do some in-field user research about what the 10 core use cases for participants in conferencing environments are and start figuring out how to unblock those obstacles. I had so many obstacles I came across during my initial on boarding with Blue Jeans that I don't think I'll ever overcome my initial frustration and disappointment.
