## About BlueCat Integrity
BlueCat Integrity is an enterprise-grade DNS, DHCP, and IP address management (DDI) platform designed to help organizations gain complete visibility, control, and automation across hybrid, multicloud, and on-premises networks. This comprehensive solution serves as a single source of truth for all core network services, streamlining the processes for IT, cloud, and DevOps teams as they design, manage, and secure increasingly complex infrastructures. By unifying DNS, DHCP, and IPAM into one modern and scalable platform, Integrity addresses the demands of today’s dynamic enterprise environments. As businesses increasingly migrate applications and workloads across various data centers and cloud environments, the complexity of their networks grows. BlueCat Integrity tackles this challenge by offering centralized visibility and management for every connected device, service, and IP address. The platform automatically discovers assets across major cloud providers such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, enabling teams to identify hidden resources, detect potential conflicts, and optimize resource utilization. With accurate, real-time data at their fingertips, organizations can make informed network decisions, minimizing the risks of outages and inefficiencies that often arise from manual processes. Built with an API-first and automation-native approach, Integrity allows for seamless integration with popular infrastructure-as-code and IT service management tools, including Ansible, Terraform, and ServiceNow. This programmability transforms DDI management into a self-service capability, enabling network and cloud teams to automate routine tasks such as provisioning, updates, and policy enforcement. By reducing manual workloads while ensuring governance and compliance through role-based access control and predefined workflows, Integrity enhances operational efficiency and security. Security is a fundamental aspect of the Integrity platform. It incorporates protective DNS controls, audit-ready logging, and granular policy enforcement to safeguard both internal and external network zones. This empowers security teams to detect and respond to anomalies swiftly, leveraging DNS data as a robust defense mechanism. With Integrity, DNS and IP management evolve from mere utilities to strategic components that bolster the overall security posture of the network. Designed for scalability and flexibility, BlueCat Integrity accommodates a wide range of network environments, from small distributed branch networks to large global enterprises. Its intuitive interface, high-availability architecture, and real-time monitoring tools ensure the performance and reliability necessary to maintain mission-critical systems. By providing organizations with unified DDI visibility, automation, and security, Integrity supports digital transformation initiatives and enhances business agility, ultimately simplifying network operations and ensuring that network services remain resilient and consistent in the face of evolving challenges.

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2025

**What do you like best about BlueCat Integrity?**

While there are many features and things to like about the BlueCat Integrity but out of them the 2 features which has a real impact on my work as a network admin is centralized visibility through dashboard and compliance and reporting.
You can see every micro details about the foundational pillars of network technology i.e. DNS, DHCP AND IPAM through the complex or simple network which honestly saves a lot of time and the rest time which you can utilize on the other aspects of your network such as its future, development and QOS.

**What do you dislike about BlueCat Integrity?**

That's a type of question which doesn't really define the overall help BlueCat Integrity can give. From my perspective , the only downside is that it takes a significant amount of time learn its full potential which is also not a downside if a person is passionate about learning.

**What problems is BlueCat Integrity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since my organization comes in the category of small to mid , the most important and prioritized responsibility of security is broken down by providing a thorough visibility into DNS traffic and also supporting DNSSEC. As we have a hybrid setup , BlueCat Integrity has helped us in maintaining consistent DDI management across both the realms.

**What do you like best about BlueCat Integrity?**

It offered us a robust solution for centralizing control of core DDI (DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management) services. I found it very good to have a single platform where I could manage all aspects of our network infrastructure, seeing relationships between devices, users, and IP addresses.

Unfortunately we had to cancel this product few months after implementation because of some our internal issues, not because of the product functionality.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohamed P. | Senior Admin, Computer & Network Security, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

Since we are a 10000+ employee organisation, assigning dynamic IP for their BYOD devices is not easy; with the help of Bluecat, this activity is easy now. it auto-assigns IPs to the Guest and Employee devices and releases them within the timeframe we set.

  ### 16. A must have for large footprint.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Janis B. | Senior Voice Engineer - Technical Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2021

**What do you like best about BlueCat Integrity?**

Blue cat has a simple interface that does all the work. By checking dependencies in the background, the engineer knows that when pushing out a DNS or IP change, the intended change is made.

Automation - We have over 100 sites; many require on-site DNS & DHCP services. BlueCat automation and single pane administration simplify changes. What used to take hours jumping through appliances/servers is now done from a single web GUI.

**What do you dislike about BlueCat Integrity?**

When dealing with multiple domains, it can be hard to follow which context you are working with. Our org utilizes a split domain between internal and external access. When dealing with the split domain, the engineer is left guessing which context we are working with.

Although improvements have been made, the web GUI can sometimes be slow to respond. I believe this to be more of a scale issue and not a design flaw.

**Recommendations to others considering BlueCat Integrity:**

It pairs very well with the Blue Cat DHCP/DNS gateways.

**What problems is BlueCat Integrity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our org uses Blue cat for complete IP/DNS management software and deployment automation. BlueCat is a single pane of glass for DHCP, DNS, and IP address management. Small/low-cost BlueCat appliances provide remote site survivability during network interruptions, and all services are delivered locally to maintain life safety networking.

I like the simple design of the BlueCat address manager and its navigation. It's much efficient than other IPAM tools.

**What do you dislike about BlueCat Integrity?**

There is no option to import CSV files for DHCP reservations or IP Space in the BAM GUI.

**What problems is BlueCat Integrity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being a part of the BlueCat TAC support team, I handle multiple concerns of the clients such as DDNS, DHCP, DNS resolution etc.
