If you can't get cold hard cash as a reward, blueboard reward is the second best type of reward. Wish we would get several more of them a year! I've been able to do 3 rewards so far in the few years since our company implemented Blueboard. Once I've decided on my reward redemption (and did some research into my preferred providers), the concierges have made the booking experience really easy and taken seamless care of transactions, tipping, etc. The execution accounts for all the important things like tipping and scheduling. So far, I've redeemed a couples massage, an in-home chef experience, and a spa day at high-end spa. **What do you dislike about Blueboard Employee Recognition Platform?** There are experience "categories" that are only visible in certain markets. This can make booking a little daunting because you have to check several cities to see what kinds of ideas are out there, then its likely you could find a similar provider in your area for that kind of activity. For one (less exciting) example, signing up for a running race wasnt available in my city as an option but it is in other cities, which is weird because we have plenty of marathons, 5k's, etc here. I.E., I live in Austin, but I want to see all the experiences of any city within 200 miles. As it is I had to type in SanAntonio and look at those experiences, Houston, then Dallas. In my early days of leadership, I remember taking a course in recognition and receiving a book filled with ideas for recognizing others and expressing gratitude. One of the pieces of guidance the leader of this course gave was that leaders should let their employees look through the book to identify their preferred methods of receiving recognition and gratitude. Blueboard takes that concept to the next level, giving people a much more user-friendly format while removing options outside the budget of whoever is funding the gift/recognition. They asked EXCELLENT questions getting to know us and what our expectations were. She then came back with trip package that included EVERYTHING we wanted to do and more.. When I tried to access it to use after my trapeze lessons, it had registered the experience as already passed so I wasn't able to see the gift card that was previously attached when it was listed as an upcoming experience. I then had to contact customer service to send it to me. Most of the cities only had "remote" experiences and I would rather that be a completely separate option because I wanted an in-person experience and was willing to travel to another city for it. I found they have a good catalog but you can also look at a spot locally and ask them if the experience in that place you desire (outside their catalog) could be set up for you.
