One of the best things I like about the solution is it does neglect even a minor element that might affect the assortment negatively. It leverages detailed analytics and consumer purchase preferences and turns the shopper insights into personalised actions. Many options like tactics, calculation and data editors are there to tweak to get the assortment we need. Customer support is fantastic as well. **What do you dislike about Blue Yonder Merchandising?** Since the solution is expensive, small firms may not find it cost-effective. Although UI is simple, since many functionalities are there, new users might take some time to learn the process thoroughly. Apart from that, there is nothing I can think of; I absolutely loved it. **What problems is Blue Yonder Merchandising solving and how is that benefiting you?** As mentioned above, BY Assortment Management creates the best product assortment in class for my client, which results in increasing overall sales profit. And since its works flawlessly with JDA Space Planning, I design my planogram simultaneously and check if I can accommodate all the products in my planogram that are present in my assortment. ### 3. If we needed to make changes to schedules in stores or if we needed to adjust our inventory to plan for a change that we didn't previously forecast or see in our initial planning, we had that information at our fingertips. **What do you dislike about Blue Yonder Merchandising?** We have multiple programs used within the company that does not work well with MFM at this time, but we are hoping that as we move forward, we can look into a cooperative adjustment to make sure we are all seeing the same plan. **Recommendations to others considering Blue Yonder Merchandising:** While we did see an increase in sales and were able to reduce our inventory overhead we would suggest that you be patient when trying any new program or application when you are switching away from something your employees have used for many years the change can sometimes be jarring for those that are reluctant to see new opportunities. **What problems is Blue Yonder Merchandising solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were attempting to create more sales and reduce inventory overhead after the pandemic crisis started a mass overhead in Spring apparel that we could not sell due to the store closures. It helped as we approached our more significant Anniversary and fall sales; as we move forward into Holiday seasonal sales, we had high hopes of achieving our black. ### 5. Implementation was easy. **What do you dislike about Blue Yonder Merchandising?** I think they should've done a better assessment of the systems (outdated) and have more compatible backend procedures versus having to upgrade for better functionality. **What problems is Blue Yonder Merchandising solving and how is that benefiting you?** There has been an increase in our pre packing methods and have seen reduced costs.
