  ### 1. Bloom’s QuickBooks Integration & Mission Team Management Saves Us 45 Hours a Week

**What do you like best about Bloomerang CRM?**

Bloom integrates with Quickbooks online and creates a sales receipt for each donation in Quickbooks.  This allows me to enter a check donation once into Bloom and it flows to Quickbooks.  When donations are made through QGiv, the sales receipt is created in Quickbooks and does not require any entry on my part.  These features have saved me approximately 20 hours per week!

**What do you dislike about Bloomerang CRM?**

The finance reports for mission teams do not easily allow for different types of donations to be segregated on the finance reports. It is difficult to discern between mission team fee payments and donations for mission team projects.

**What problems is Bloomerang CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bloom provides one platform for donations and mission team management.  This is saving us approximately 25 hours a week.  We no longer need to maintain an excel spreadsheet (that was manually entered) for mission team management.  Bloom allows for one stop shopping for all types of donations!

**What do you like best about Bloomerang CRM?**

There are a lot of things I like, but the top three are how easy it is for non-technical team members to use, the straightforward reporting interface, and the level of customization.

**What do you dislike about Bloomerang CRM?**

They recently introduced an AI support bot, and it hasn’t been particularly helpful with my issues. It tends to ask the same questions repeatedly, even after I’ve already answered them. The good news is that when this happens, you can always request to speak with a person—and Bloomerang’s human support team is excellent.

**What problems is Bloomerang CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were using an overly expensive CRM that required add-ons (costing even more) to work to its best advantage. Switching has saved us approximately $10K per year. The old system was also overly complicated and hard for less technically inclined team members to understand, which led to reluctance to update meetings and other interactions. Bloomerang is so user-friendly that my teammates are genuinely excited to tell me they added an interaction right after a meeting, or that they were able to write their own report.

**What do you like best about Bloomerang CRM?**

I've been using Bloomerang CRM since 2017, and I've seen it evolve with new features and improvements, which is rewarding. It helps us strengthen donor relationships and streamline our fundraising efforts. It's very user-friendly, which is a big plus. The Bloomerang support team is fabulous, and I always get the help I need. We switched from Raiser's Edge primarily because Bloomerang CRM is so much more user-friendly. I would definitely recommend it, rating it a 10.

**What do you dislike about Bloomerang CRM?**

We currently use 3 different credit card processors and they come into our bank in 3 different ways. It's very time-consuming for us to separate gifts between 3 different deposit logs to provide our accounting department with what they need to reconcile bank deposits. I've been told that in the near future, Bloomerang will be switching to only 1 processor, which will help tremendously. However, because we are still using Stripe for some recurring donations, we also have to pay an extra fee each month.

**What do you like best about Bloomerang CRM?**

I really like that Bloomerang CRM has a very aesthetically pleasing interface, and it's pretty self-explanatory once all the information is in. The support is also great, and everyone I deal with is super kind and helpful. I appreciate the integrative capabilities, where each of the tools can communicate with each other, which means everything we need is in one spot. I love that it's all connected and automated, allowing me to focus more on human connection and relationship-building.

**What do you dislike about Bloomerang CRM?**

I think the thing that I would like a little bit more of is onboarding sessions and making sure that once I've bought into the packages that I'm able to actually use the tool, that I'm paying for. While there is a lot of different options for support, I think more of a onboarding session or series of sessions and help setting up things particular to my organization would be really great to have.

I use Bloomerang CRM for donation tracking, fundraising, and integrating our volunteer platform. It automates tasks like sending receipts and thank you letters, freeing me up to build relationships. Its integrative capabilities keep all tools in one spot, efficiently managing donor accounts.

**What do you like best about Bloomerang CRM?**

As Director of the Alberto Mottesi Evangelistic Association (AMEA), doing business as Puertas de Amor / Doors of Love, I’ve had an excellent experience with Bloomerang.

Bloomerang has become a key part of our donor engagement and relationship management strategy. The platform is intuitive and easy to navigate, and it gives us the tools we need to communicate effectively with our supporters, track donor activity, manage campaigns, and build meaningful, long-term relationships with our community of Changemakers.

One feature we especially value is being able to view donor engagement in one place. This helps our team make informed decisions and provide more personalized stewardship. The reporting tools, email marketing capabilities, and donor insights have strengthened our fundraising efforts and helped us serve our supporters better.

**What do you like best about Bloomerang CRM?**

I like the dashboard and the ease of being able to add notes to the constituency. It's really important to me that interactions are able to be recorded, and reports are actually very easy to build. The dashboard helps me every day when I come in; the first thing I do after opening my calendar is definitely going in to look at the dashboard for Bloomerang CRM. Bloomerang's dashboard is really powerful and customizable, which I appreciate. It helps me see what I need to do for the day, where my tasks are, and how we've kept our donor retention. Bloomerang CRM integrates beautifully with Windfall and helps us tremendously to find wealth evaluations on our constituents. We are very happy with both and also use Boomerang fundraising. The setup for Bloomerang CRM was relatively seamless, and any difficulties were mostly from the Southwest side of things. Understanding and setting it up seemed like a pretty easy way for us, and the migration was less painful than others we've experienced. I would recommend Bloomerang with a ten because we've been very satisfied and very happy with it.

**What do you dislike about Bloomerang CRM?**

Honestly, Bloomerang CRM works very well. The only thing that I would encourage is that the search bar for finding is a little stronger and a little bit more intuitive. Sometimes in the search bar when you type in a person's name, the search bar is not quite intuitive enough to know that it should be pulling up people with similar spellings. For example, if we have somebody whose name is Carol, and I type in 'carol' and forget the 'e' on the end, it really won't pull that person out. It'll pull a lot of other Carols with the 'carol', but it won't pull them specifically even if I have the last name correct. Very helpful if that could be corrected.

I use Bloomerang CRM for all our fundraising needs, keeping records, and tracking donor gifts. It helps us solve problems with finding historical data and understanding relationships, ensuring we stay on top of our fundraising tasks.

**What do you like best about Bloomerang CRM?**

I love the overview on the front page where I can see donor retention, and the month-over-month fundraising annually, campaign success, etc.  The high-level snapshots are very helpful. I also appreciate the individual constituent profiles where I can see that timeline for each donor. It's also very easy to set up. I've recommended Bloomerang CRM before as we love how it works.

**What do you dislike about Bloomerang CRM?**

I find the email templates pretty frustrating. They're not really easy to edit and starting from scratch is a pain. There are only very few templates, and creating multiple emails requires editing those. I would rather have more to choose from. Also, our executive director does not like how much it costs, and it seems a bit prohibitive for a small nonprofit.

**What do you like best about Bloomerang CRM?**

What I like best about Bloomerang CRM is how intuitive and user-friendly the platform is. It makes it easy to manage donor information, track interactions, and run reports all in one place. The constituent timelines and dashboards provide a clear view of giving history and engagement, which helps our team better understand and steward our donors. I also appreciate the strong reporting capabilities and responsive customer support, which make it easier to get the data we need and resolve questions quickly for our Engagement team.

**What do you dislike about Bloomerang CRM?**

New Donor automations do not account for household giving history, so individual donors may be flagged as “new” even if the household has been giving for many years, requiring manual review. Journey Automations rely on the “Relationship Manager” field, which required us to migrate data from a custom field to ensure proper assignment. Journey Automations currently work only with static Groups, not dynamic Groups, which makes it more difficult to manage groups that update frequently (such as recurring donors). Duplicate accounts can be created from online donations through Fundraising if donor information (email, name, etc.) does not exactly match the original record using Fundraising suggestion matching logic. When our recurring donors migrated from GivingFuel to Bloomerang we were not aware that they would not be able to sign up for a bloomerang online account to manager their giving account online. For them to do so, they have to cancel their gift and re-sign up again to create a new account which is inconvenient for our long time donors.

**What problems is Bloomerang CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bloomerang CRM helps us centralize donor information, track giving history, and manage donor engagement in one platform. It makes it easier to see a complete picture of each donor, including their gifts, interactions, and communication history. This improves our ability to steward donors effectively, run reports for leadership, and ensure donors receive timely acknowledgments and follow-ups. Overall, it helps our team stay organized and build stronger relationships with our donors.

**What do you like best about Bloomerang CRM?**

I love how easy it is to onboard, implement, learn, and use. The design is straightforward and easy to follow, and the platform itself is organized in a very simple, intuitive way. In addition, Bloomerang now integrates with QGiv, along with Quickbooks, which makes keeping records much simpler. (Quickbooks can be mapped in either or both directions.)

Bloomerang also allows organizations to send out communications, track their progress, and automatically record any actions. More recently, Bloomerang has added a large amount of AI capabilities that look promising.

Customer support is pretty good with Bloomerang with usually a response time of 24-48 hours.

**What do you dislike about Bloomerang CRM?**

Quickbooks works with multiple payment processors which can be confusing. In addition, I find that I usually have to clean data on occasion - nothing major but sometimes the integrations (due to how mapping occurs) can create duplicates.

**What problems is Bloomerang CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bloomerang is putting all things fundraising into one easy to app - solicitation, communications, event planning, donor tracking, and goals.

**What do you like best about Bloomerang CRM?**

It connects to our fundraising pages and event forms, which saves us a lot of double entry.

**What do you dislike about Bloomerang CRM?**

We’ve run into some confusion about when to use the CRM versus when to use the Fundraising pages. For example, when I edited a gift in the CRM that was originally made on the fundraising page, those changes didn’t carry over to the Fundraising software. This likely comes down to learning the software better, but it has still been a point of frustration at times.

The CRM has made reports easier to create.
